woooot sunshine motors, i go there every year when i go up to the coast to play my footy game against TSS. and every year they let me sit in them and every year i go home a little more sad in side with the realisation i will never own one :(
I dont know why you got negative points. This is true
theres a huge gap between sport coupes and supercars.
this is my dream car, the best piece of modern design and engineering. Yeah, I know there are a lot of better-performing cars but thats not what counts for me
this, is the perfect balance for a car.
well.. escept for the price... all astons are quite pricy... hand built...
Sorry bout that, it was more focused on the reviewer rather than the car, i mean the vantage is a pure mix of luxury and performance to boot and i am definitely a fan of its svelte lines. Buts its just the term supercar... what is a supercar, its used so often and for so many different classes of car that i have no longer an understanding of what a supercar actually is.
Sorry for that, my comment was more focused on the reviewer rather than a negative statement toward the vantage.
Dont get me wrong, i love the aston, luxury & performance + svelte lines, i am seriously a fan but its the word "supercar" that gets me annoyed. Its just thrown around so often than the meaning no longer registers to me, its used for so many different cars that I no longer have a comprehension of what would fit within a "supercar".
The price isn't that bad. I was looking at an 07 Coupe, nicely equipped for $117,000. That puts in the price range of the SL AMG. I dont think the price is bad considering each is hand built and can be built to exactly your specs.
The 70's/80's Astons more handsome !! I don't think so, the V8 vantage/DB9 are stunningly handsome cars, they are sheer class. Comparing a GM Monaro to an Aston is like comparing chalk and cheese. I definately know which one I'd have - no contest !!!
The original 70's/80's Vantage was just as quick But far more handsome and genuinely handmade; The GM Monaro pisses over this Aston-Ford in looks and costs less than a third.
very COOL

OK This is an amazing and beautiful car. However....The Aston Martin 1977 V8 Vantage would be the car to get.
lilratboy21 4 years ago
@lilratboy21 Disagree. The V8 Vantage is a full on sports car, not a barge of a GT. It is much better looking than the 70's Aston's.

How is the vantage a supercar? What category is the DB9 or the vantage in? Nice car but not a supercar

for approximately $100,000, this is a steal. Also, almost all exotic cars are hand built.

$100,000????? are you talking australian dollas? because if you are its $250,000.

HAAAAAAAAAAHAHAH. Monaro. Built of scrap metal and tupperware methinks.

The one with the x pack engine IN THE LATE 80s would massacre the modern vantage but i love all astons :-)

GM Monaro is better looking than an Aston? Boy, there's no words in any language to describe a lack of taste of that magnitude.
