Hmm, ill have this video card but my cpu is pushing the performance very low. Its an amd athlon x2 6000+ (3.09ghz). Planning to upgrade to sandy bridge with a cheap msi H61M-E33motherboard. Is this a good choice? Alse i want to play BF3 when it releases.

The only lag i get is when the server is M4XX3D!!! lol this is cause i dont really have gaming-capable internet...:(

I have gts 250 nvidia 1 gb and when I am pressing for more than a minute shft or (w) the screen goes off for 3 seconds and ruins my game but I run the game in full graphics but i don't know maybe I am going to buy gtx 480 nvidia with dx11

Xfx HD 5770

4GB RAM 1600

500GB SATA2

PSU 600W real

And I cant even imagine playing this smooth, it lag too much. Good FPS, around 50 ~ 70, but too much latency when I look around the map moving the mouse, can anybody help me here? i've changed my SO 3 times now. Now i'm with a W7 Ultimate x64, but it's the same, any idea??

@LouGypsyBlue MIGHT BE UR INTERNET WHEN (damn caps lock i always hit on accident when i play bc2) you play other games does this happen to and also it might just be the server u might be playing on a server that has a very high ping try choosing a server that closer to where u live

@Ubikzz i have a galaxy 9600gt 512mb low power/profile video card running with a phenom ii quad 945 at 3.0ghz , 3gb of ddr2 ram @ 800mhz and windows 7 32 bit ultimate . my fps is around 25-50fps depending on the environment and thats at 1600*** resolution. the 9600 is a lower end card compared to the 260gtx so i think it will do fine with the game

I have this exact card and similar PC and i get horrible FPS on this game for some reason... i need to run the game on LOW settings to get smooth gameplay experience. I dont recommend anyone buy this card. get the 5870 or higher!

Meg, GTX 260 will work fine at up to 1680x1050. At HD, it will struggle just a bit.

no it will be the same, only that gtx 260 doesn't support some new features like DirectX 11. So if you want to have realy good graphics then buy ATI, if you want "too much FPS" buy Nvidia, but with ati you get enough FPS for optimize gameplay
