They have mostly ballads like "please come back, don't goo" or "LET'S PARTTEYY" songs so.. try to understand. There are people who can't listen to music without some kind of a deep message. And then there are people who can't see through the melody or the beat to the lyrics or don't even want to. People r different so chill out.

Hip-hop, as defined by KRS-One, is a way of life. But the technical definition is that hip-hop is composed of emceeing and deejaying (which makes up rap), graffiti and breakdancing. I'm not a huge fan of Outsider either, but he is a rapper without a doubt, you don't see him singing or some shit.
