@braddyboy82 worst song on the album yet still an absolute ripper. i wanna see these guys come to australia and play good times, tears and sugar spun sister. probably my 3 favourite stone roses songs
And they're planning on having a third studio album!
This would make it the first time since the original lineup has made an album since their debut self-titled album, "The Stone Roses". However, i'm not sure as of now if the "Second Coming" had the original members or not.
The solo at the end of 'Breaking into Heaven' is much similar to voodoo chile if you want to wank over the thought of winding people up on another video.

@fabiancarini1 Smack my bitch up isn't even the best Prodigy tune off Fat of the Land, Experience or Music for a jilted generation. That's why you sound rediculous making statements like you do. Each to their own, would you like some ketchup on your fries?

The press hated the roses because they were part of a movement. A generation hellbent on getting off there tits and having a good time.....I surprisingly remember it well :)
This song marks the exact point (to the minute) that I lost my faith in humanity. I'd waited 4 years for these seminal heroes to return and make music special again, and then it only got to No.2 in the charts, outsold by .... 'Saturday Night' by Whigfield. I was living in Newport, Wales at the time and the pic on the cover is of a little angel that could be found on the city's bridges. All of them were stolen within a week of the single's release and the council had to go back to the original moulds to make more but they weren't as good. Everywhere you would go, this record was playing and LOUD. Still sends shivers down my spine. An amazing Number One.
This song is sooo sick! That guitar riff! Ouch, to write a song like that must feel so fucking great! I wish, I wish I could write songs like that. And the lyrics blow my mind. I got this on a cd and I've been playing it in max volume, making my neighbours crazy. Yeah, she's my sister! Rock On! Stone Roses forever!
Love the roses, they inspired me to write A LOT of songs. Listen to them everytime we're on the road. Them and T.Rex are the only bands that everyone agree's on listening to together when giggging. Great times. One of the greatest bands ever and John Squire was a fantastic player.

Love the roses, they inspired me to write A LOT of songs. Listen to them everytime we're on the road. Them and T.Rex are the only bands that everyone agree's on listening to together when giggging. Great times. One of the greatest bands ever and John Squire was a fantastic player.

It was John Squire that was listening to Led Zep, he produced and wrote most/all of the Second Coming.
