  • OCD a bit there on the bells in the beginning.

  • Europe has really fast trains. Like the TGV which i think is in France but i could be mistaking

  • I like the crossing bars there blocking the traffic for trains. If we had them here in the U.S. it'll reduce the panic of train engineers and conductors of people trying to dodge the train at crossings

  • very ugly train

  • nope. it says "wait"

  • no it says wait for the trian there could come another one

  • Something is weird of the crossing.

  • does anyone know this crossing?

  • You guys, does anyone know this crossing?

  • ... they stop, because its at a station....

nou nu maar over op nederlands, leuk filmpje!

  • your pretty much screwed if you get hit by that train

  • what does the blue sign say?

  • @spencerlovestrains i think it says "wacht" dutch for "watch"

  • @billyamason "WACHT tot het rode licht gedoofd is er kan nog een trein komen" = "WAIT until the red light has extinguished another train may come"

  • @spencerlovestrains It says : Wait to the lights are off because there can a second train passing.

    I'm a dutch person so i now that :D

  • @spencerlovestrains it says: "WAIT

, until the red light is off. Another train could be appoaching.

  • So many signals!

  • Diemen togh?

  • 0:12 Electonic Gong

  • wow the duch mean busness at levlve crossings

  • Dat zijn zeker de nieuwste bomen?

  • wow first dutch crossing where all bells stop

  • Well, it was made possible, because peoples don't like alarm sounding, if level crossing is in residential area.

  • THis is an ADOB, with a radar to 'look' for things that get stuck between the bars: in that case the driver of the train gets lightsignals to tell him something is still on the tracks: because this type of crossing is completely closed with bars (and not with the 'half' bars which allow people to 'zig-zag' around them) the bells stop, I think.

I think this is the ADOB at Diemen (ADOB = Automatische Dubbele Overweg Bomen = Automatic Double Crossing Barriers)
