Brett's portrayal was fairly camp, but absolutely wonderful and true to the book. Of course, those were the days when men could have 'inimate' friendships, walk arm in arm , share a bed etc and be hetero. Watson was twice very happily married after all! Still, it was a real proper bromance, no doubt about it.

There is something about Jeremy Brett that is quite camp in his portrayal of Holmes, but at the same time he is by far the best Holmes on screen.

Well, I do believe that homosexuality is against the laws of our Creator if that's what you mean by offensive.....but I LOVE this video! Sarah Brightman is one of my fav artists, & of course I love Jeremy Brett & David Burke. If this video had advocated incest I would have addressed it as such. Incest is condemned by God just as much as homosexuality, if not more. Since usually it's children that are hurt. But since that wasn't exactly relevent to the situation I didn't see any reason to make mention of it.
