im planning to buy a fantom xr but i'd like to be sure that some basic parameters like pitch and filter that react to velocity , portamento , lfo are still available on users rhythm kits - is it possible ?

What I hate about this tho is the fact that you have to load all the samples Everytime you want to use that particualr kit. Unlike the On-Board ones! So Annoying.

Thanks for posting your videos! I just got a Fantom XR and I can't figure out how to create performances that have split zones. Specifically, I need to control the Fantom w/ a Roland Ax Synth. I need ability to create patches that have defined key ranges for a set of sounds within the performance patch. The XR doesn't seem to have a keyboard split function like the Fantom keyboard has. No need to mk a video, but if you could respond with a detailed instruction it'd be great! Thanks

can anyone tell me .. my samples take 13 minutes to load using a x133 CF card. is there anyway to speed this up ? without deleting samples . i once used a x50 cf and it took twice the time to read so would a

x266 card improve the speed of loading the samples or am i just wasing my money .. cheers

Hey, does the fantom xr allow you to pitch shift samples (once you load them ) without changing the tempo? I am looking ti get one but I would really want this feature. I know the fantom g does.

How do I create layers and split on Fantom XR module?? I want to layer/split up to 4 parts across my Roland Ax Synth - can't figure it out....please help!!!!!! thanks

regarding above: need directions for front panel. On the Fantom keyboards there's a Split/Layer button...nothing like that on the module.

I save up alot of cash then buy most of my gear on ebay. I buy and sell things all the time. Alot of synths in my other videos I don't own any more. My whole setup is 4 synths, 2 cd players, 1 record player, & 2 mixers. Street Value = $3,500. That's 14-28 weeks of saving. That's half a year for me.

Can you do all the edits via USB with the PC too,or do you have to edit all the things on the device like you were showing in this video?

You can use the computer, but I always get errors while using my computer. The USB port on my XR is messed up.

@digitaljosh btw they fixed the os so if you download the update you can use usb. at least that's what they say. im waiting on a pcmcia card adapter in the mail to try it :)

I got my wisdom teeth pulled out 4 days ago, and I can't believe I made it through this tutorial for y'all fellow Fantom XR Users. I plan on making alot more videos showing how I really make tracks on the computer.
