Yep, it's confirmed. FireProClub is actually in contact with Suda51 and just recieved a ton of information about it. It will be a downloadable game, have english translations and online play as well as many new features.

Fire Pro Returns is PS2's greatest wrestling game, HCTP obviously an awesome second. Lol at people that rate a game by it's graphics. Their loss, we get to enjoy the best wrestling game play while they can play the newer Smackdown's with average gameplay but very good graphics.

but, i'm having problems in match maker mode, though. someone plese tell me; step by step, how do you save your game progress in match maker mode. because, whenever i turn my game back on, i lose all the wrestlers that i popped open and worked so hard to get! what am i doing wrong?

Here is how to save it. Back out of everything, back to the main menu, it should say "Game data has changed would like to save?" Just choose yes. If not, you could always go right into options and choose to save from there.

You're an idiot. First of all, it's got the best gameplay of any wrestling title to be released since the N64 era of AKI's wrestling titles. Secondly, graphic don't matter unless you're a graphics whore. What is your idea of good? The shitty Smackdown series? Hasn't been good since Here Comes The Pain and it gets worse every year. Fire Pro Wrestling Returns is by far much better than any Smackdown game to date and soon TNA iMPACT will own that series as well. Doubt it'll be as good as FPWR.

There is no answer I can give to you sadly. I have heard nothing else of a released date for the UK any time recently. The last rumored release date, Feb. 13, 2008, has already come and gone and from what I can see you still do not have the game. So, unfortunately, I cannot help you. Aside from that I have seen people briefly mention possibly June or October of this year, but that just more rumors and is quite a ways off from now.

Yes, with 500 CAW slots. Though in the Fire Pro world they are referred to as Edits. Fire Pro was the first wrestling game series to introduce the mode, so that is why people generally go by the term "Edits" because that is what they are called in the games and Fire Pro originated it.

No, sorry. Neither of them are in the game. Most current WWE stars are not in the game, at least as of the game's original release date back in 2005 in Japan, it was done to avoid possible lawsuits. However, you can create perfect versions of them, I have a perfect Rey Mysterio and Chris Jericho myself. The masked man you see in the video is actually a legend in Japan known as Tiger Mask. The other man I'm not sure of.

Fire Pro Wrestling Returns came out in Japan in 2005, but we're finally getting it here in the US fully translated this Tuesday. This marks the first Fire Pro game to be released here in the US for a console. The closest we've gotten was the ones for Game Boy Advance.

No, this is the NTSC (US) version. You don't need to modify your PS2 to play it because it's for our region.

Yes, sadly there are no WWE wrestlers in the game, at least none that were employed with the WWE at the time. I'm not sure why they decided to drop them, but they still have all of their moves and part in the edit section so it's possible to recreate them perfectly.

They dropped them to avoid potential lawsuits from the WWE. When they brought the Gameboy titles to the states UFC threatened to sue them for using the 8 sided cage in the game. So they're afraid of lawsuits from American promotions.

Yeah Vader is awesome in Fire Pro. He's got all his moves including the Vader Bomb, Power Bomb and Moonsault.. plus he has a high critical rate which means a lot of his moves can injure his opponent causing the ref to stop the match.
