  • Thumbs up if you remember the promotion for this movie: "The man in black is back FOR A FEW DOLLARS MORE"

  • played this song when I dueled Edger Ross!

  • Still remember my dad taking the family to this movie. It was on a double bill with "A Fistful Of Dollars". He paid $4 Dollars for a party of five. With popcorn, candy and drinks the grand total came to about $10.00.

  • @doc2skate That is a fantasy of mine. I don't even bother go to the movies anymore. I can't either.

  • @NeverAloneForever The last time I went to a movie was the opening of the AFI Silver Theater in Silver Springs, Maryland. Clint Eastwood was the special guest and the film that showed was "Once Upon A Time In The West".

  • @doc2skate That's great, man. When was that?

  • @NeverAloneForever This was during the re-opening year of 2003.

  • @doc2skate Ah well. I guess I missed my chance.

  • Toccata and Fugue in D minor @ 0:51?

  • @TheFunkyNut Obvious.but he brings his own twist.

  • the organ bit!!

  • tune

  • Guys... there IS no stealing in film. Films BORROW. They could only steal if they made the exact same movie, which they don't. They use subtle little details from other movies. You see this all the time. How many times have you heard a character in an action movie say, "Time to kick some ass." Plenty of times right? Well someone used it first, does that make everyone else a thief? No. Plus, movies are remade all the time. No one calls thievery then.

  • Tarantino makes movies in that classic way I love. Go watch inglorious bastards , it to is a great movie and has a wonderful soundtrack with plenty of Ennio Morricone.

  • @tjagolf33 Not to nitpick, but it's definitely from For a Few Dollars More. Might appear in both though, in one form or another :)

  • "Bravo..."

  • "Now we start....."

  • anyone have the long version of this song? i remember hearing it it has a lot more of that horn playing

  • 0:52 = epic

  • Real, unique and revolutionary classic! Clint Eastwood, Gian Maria Volonte and Lee Van Cleef did a brilliant job. In this film you cannot find just good and bad guys which makes this film even more special. I always praise original films more but For A Few Dollars More was even better than original. Our modern so-called "blockbusters" look like crap compared with this trilogy

  • 3 were shot down in the end of the music clock

  • the 3 persons who disliked this video... like Justin Bieber i think!

  • El Indio lurvs this tune.

  • Ten utwór jest zarąbisty.

  • I would love to get a full copy of the Soundtrack on cd, or mp3...

    Anyone know how or where?

  • @VISIONmg86: Finding a Morricone album that has the original recordings rather than some synthesized cover can be difficult. The OST to "For a Few Dollars More" itself is really expensive nowadays - instead, look for "Fistful of Sounds". It has the soundtracks to "Few Dollars More", as well as "Fistful of Dollars" and "Once Upon a Time in the West". You can probably find a cheap second-hand copy on Amazon or something; I'd recommend it.

  • @VISIONmg86 still interested, private mail me and i'll tell you

  • Thank god I got to this soundtrack fast enough, I was dying from over-exposure to Jonah Hex and needed some serious western juice.

  • It's so very suspenseful, and is so haunting-if I ever come to a duel in my life, I want this as the soundtrack. Ennio Morricone is an absolutely amazing composer, long may he reign.

  • Best western duel music ever - instead of being a couple of people killing eachother, the music really adds to the dramatic quality of the scene.

  • Ennio Morricone never fails to impress me.

  • The Hilux IS ALIVE!!!!

    (TOP GEAR REFRENCE)

  • awesome but the good the bad and the ugly's duel theme was alot better

  • That organ>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>> fuckin heck

  • long live ennio morricone & sergio leone! long live spaghetti western! long live the ITALIAN WESTERN!

  • The only frontier left in 2010 is the internet. And even know corporations and the government are trying to take it.

Support the only wild west left, always vote to keep the internet anonymous and private.

  • @Waggabagaboo hate to break it to you mate, but the internet is not anonymous and private

  • @slpayne3

IP2P, Tor and many other things, dont forget them.

  • @olegv11 yup, you hit the nail on the head there mate.

  • @Waggabagaboo

Lol a very naive way of looking at the internet...... everything on the internets monitored in some way and its just too taxing to go through all that data looking for specifics. So believe me when I say people know what your doing everytime you log on :D

  • organs are awesome.

  • This song is the shit!!!!!!!!!!! i love the beginning

  • my word when the organ kicks in.

  • The days of good old westerns are over. Oh how very sad :(

  • 1:22 THE HILUX LIVES!

  • @spagamoto I'm just watching that episode now :oD "Hmm, I'd say that was pretty ronnied" & yet the Toyota still started :oO

  • Ringtone - youtube.com/watch?v=5mvLg6MQ39I

  • Skins.....Crawling....long time no hear o.o Thank you for uploading it....thank you very much!!

  • tarantino sucks balls

  • spaghetti western is a true art form, that modern people can barely comprehend. escept red dead players and quinten tarantino fans

  • thank for posting this ive been wanting to find this song .... thanks again

  • I'm 14, and, this is the best fucking music i have, and ever will, hear in my life.

  • @LieutenantIDan So you can see in to the future? Kool=)

  • I can play this :) just need a church organ to play it on...

  • What's with all the Tarantino/Leone comparisons? Two different directors aiming for different things in their audiences, different messages, different ambiences and different expressions. Both great in their own right. I lean towards Leone because I find Tarantino a little self-indulgent, but that doesn't mean I don't think QT is a great director. They're both amazing, both worthy of praise and both visionaries without whom the entire medium of film would be horribly poorer.

  • quienes son eso 3 q no les gusta·???? aaaaayyyy....

  • was the complete version of this Song (like it is in the movie) released somewhere ?

  • podías haber puesto alguna imágen más de esa misma película, otros carteles con mismo título y distintos al que cuelgas por ejemplo, en fin, salvo ese pequeño detalle, la música que en sí era lo que importaba, de 10, como todo lo del genio Morricone

  • "Bravo."

  • When the chimes end...

  • @MarkTeePee im pretty much fucked

  • classic.

  • The three people that missed the like button are obviously Bieber fanboys.

  • "Now we start"

  • This is a sort of requiem for El Indio...there is also the organ.

  • ich liebe diesen film . einfach ein meisterwerk.

  • the man with no name trilogy was the GODFATHER of ALL westernes the music was so awsome their wasnt much in the movie but when their was it was absolutley perfect for the scene

  • 3 people missed the like button

  • wonderful!!!!

  • 0:52 organ bliss!

  • Clint Eastwood's western movies are just epic all around. This music by Morricone coupled with the movies just blows me away every time I watch them. I wasn't even born when the movies came out, but I'd have to say my mom raised me right by showing these to me.

  • @VoodooGypsy Glad you recognize brilliance as displayed by Clint, LVC, GMV, Sergio, and Morricone. Amazing stuff - and yes, your Mom did a good job indeed!

  • Anyone have sheet music for this, either official or even handwritten? I'd LOVE to be able to play the trumpet part. I looked everywhere for The Trio from TG TB & TU, finally found it, and it's so much fun to play. I'd love to be able to have this to say the same. Message me if you know anything about the sheet music! Thanks.

  • 1:23 FTW

  • its so epic

  • There's nothing else like this in film music. It hits the spot (to say the least). Great sound track. Thanks for posting

  • thanks for sharing

  • this films on now lol

  • This song is amazingly powerful and moving.

I think i'll have it played at my funeral.

  • I thought the same thing, hehe.

  • @RedneckkRudy pretty sad song to play at a funeral

  • @RedneckkRudy

In my will I stated to get it played at my funeral! :-D

  • This music is raw emotion, anger, sadness, and revenge all tied into one piece, fantastic and haunting.

  • @SgtBarnes14 revenge is not a emotion, it's an act^^ but I still have to say that your right:D

  • And revenge is fueled and brought on by strong and overpowering emotions, is it not?

  • So sad....(the sound of locket and organ playing).

  • great song.

used to be the clash opening song as they walked on stage!

they were huge spaghetti western fans!

  • yes they were...

  • Not only did they mix up the organ version with the trumpet version, they also shortened the part with the guitar. In the expanded ost they restored the complete prgan version but not this one. I wish they had just included this song like it was in the final duel.

  • @Pssybart they did, didn't they?

  • They did, the shortened version used during the duel scene in the film itself was on the extended album as "Sequence 8".

  • awesome

  • the best music in my opinion of spaghetti westerns

  • I honestly thought this was a better theme than the one used in "The Good, The Bad and the Ugly" for the end battle.

  • Reminds me of Top Gear's Toyota Hilux challenge.

  • I was about to say the same, this was so perfect...

  • its a STYLE, you cant steal a STYLE, its there for everyone to use

  • To the anti-Tarantino group: Sergio Leone stole from Akira Kurosowa. Drama is all about stealing other people's ideas. Take an acting class and you'll realize that real fast.

  • Brining back the good old days of watching westerns with the folks in the 70's and 80's on saturay afternoons, brill.

  • The golden years of the "Spaghetti" westerns.

  • Omg, Tarantino is awesome, the only guy who doesnt use an overload of computer animation in his films, now, stop arguing, and listen to classic western music!

  • amazing

  • The people hating on Tarantino are retarded. Tarantino constantly says Spaghetti Westerns were his favorite genre and he loves these movies, he loves to reference them with his own characters in his own way. Who cares, anybody who has common sense knows he's not stealing stuff because he wants to make a profit off of it or he can't think of his own stuff, he like to pay homage to the films he loves and grew up with. Get over it, Tarantino is a great writer/director.

  • @unknown1771 Tarantino is one of the greatest

  • @unknown1771 A homage is one thing. To have no original content is another.

  • @unknown1771 , Tarantino can't hold a candle to Leone. The comparisons have no sense. Personally I have never liked Tarantino's over the top gratuitous graphicness, his sick spilling blood scenes leave me cold. Leone was a real innovator who could make a great movie on a ridicolously low budget.

  • @unknown1771 Amen to that!

  • @unknown1771 my favorite seen in Kill Bill is the bud and bill dialogue in the desert. If someone cannot see the homage and love he shows to Leone and Morricone are blind.

  • @unknown1771 there is no such thing as a watchable original idea anymore....steal and get influence from anything you possibly can as long as you make it good...being authentic is MUCH better than being original

  • @unknown1771 yea people who claim writers are stealing stuff should shut their effing mouths because they have no idea what the writer is thinking

  • @unknown1771 Totally true..Tarantino one of the greatest director and writer in the film history. He has a great vision. If imagination is dead film making is dead too and I also don't understand the people who hates Star Wars and LOTR without them there are no films..

  • Must love that Guitar.

  • This is used in Inglorious Basterds

  • i might have blacked out and missed a few weeks like i did last year, but that film isn't out yet

  • ...but if it is used in it, then: AWESOME!

  • I'm pretty sure he and everyone else are aware when he 'recycles' something. I mean, he's a cinematic magpie, yeah, but he's also very original at the same time.

  • Metallica's song Battery has an intro incredibly similar to the musical locket, just timed differently. Of course, this should come as no surprise, since they're the ones who did Ecstacy of Gold in a thrash metal style already.

  • This is a very good song.

  • clearly one of the best melodies i have ever listened to in my life

  • is there another version of this soundtrack? because i have heard another one where the "bell" keeps on playing.. you know like it does here in begining..?

  • This is a great piece. it just keeps rising, giving lots of tension!

  • The Dollars Trilogy has always amazed me; Eastwood's character is very mystical and clearly he is FATE with a Colt Navy 1851 or, for the William Blake fans, he is like the "Tiger". The final duel is just too sybolic of the struggle between good and evil, fair play and cheating. The music is absolutely perfect... "when the chimes end..."

  • what a film! what a theme! classic :)

  • Watched this again last night after many years. Classic film.

  • It took me forever to find this damn song! I've been looking for ever! Greatest western ever.......

  • The best song of the cd. And perhaps the best song of all the westerns.

  • INDEED - this has even The Good Bad and Ugly theme beat as far as EPIC-ness and sheer beauty

If you haven't heard I also highly recommend "Once Upon a Time in the West's" soundtrack as well!

  • this is going on my ringtone

  • monster incredibel sound the clock sound its magical
