Like every other physical attribute to youth, the voice has been on the wane for decades. Nobody could sing like the young Dan that I've ever heard. This is even tuned down from A440 a half step. I've always loved the guitar work he did on this. I can shadow it some, but there is tremendous depth to the things he plays, even at 23 or so when Home Free was recorded.

I wonder why I was never notified you uploaded this song? I do indeed enjoy the melody and lyrics, very haunting, I too have songs about dreams but have not uploaded them yet. The song is a little out of your range but you handled it well going into your falsetto voice, I think you played this song greatly, enjoyed every last note. I invite you to watch, commet and rate my John Prine cover. I will be doiong some John Denver and Moody Blues as well.

Thanks so much. I keep hoping to find time to practice and do a better job, but not finding that to be the case yet. I certainly appreciate the kind words, and wish that I had found a way to continue playing as you do. I'd love to play along with you if you ever make it this way...good luck to you. Anyone as lovely as you with such a wonderful voice needs to be heard.
