You know, this may be the best solo Beatle "RECORDING" ever. I love the arrangement and mix, a good Phil Spector-type sound and Ringo's vocal. And that tight little slide solo by George Harrison, who also produced this single. I especially LOVE the horn riff at the end of each vocal line in the chorus. The whole sound of this single is delicious!
Well..you see......it's a spoof...it's just a fookin' spoof you see....what of all of it all, you've got to make a bleeding film or something so fook it all...it's a bleeding fooking spoof is all ... and the bleeding fooking wreckord coompani ...well ...you know...that MTV stoof and all.......bleeding fooking hell....ya know...if you don't like it well............
Até hoje, ainda existem idiotas que acham que o RINGO era apenas um mediocre baterista colocado lá apenas para fazer numero. Quando o time é bom, até o goleiro faz gol
@Taggerung12 LOL, I was wondering about that too. Another peculiarity is that the aerial shots of Ringo at the piano show his chair and the piano on wood slats, whereas the side shot shows the piano and chair placed directly on the snow. Soooo, what is up with that? Anyhoo, excellent song, one of my favorites when I was growing up.
@uteanatinny George also produced the song and graced it with his fine guitar work. I like Ringo, but I am betting this was a lot more George's song than Ringo's (Photograph also). Ringo goes from Octopus' Garden to this? But George going from Something to this is more than believable. Just a wonderful song. Love the friendship that Ringo and George had - never wavering, always strong and true and producing some great music in the process.
I remember the Bombardier Ski-Doo 8hp snowmobile we had when I was a kid back in the 60's. Though it only maxed out at about 30mph, it was great fun for an 8 year old.
Give him a break guys, this was 10 years and 4 months before MTV and all the glitz and glamor. Most "videos" then were just concert footage. Besides, he did have a band, sort of. George helped and rumors were Paul was there also.
Hey Ringo's just released a solo record! Lets get him on Top of the Pops! Naw, it was all done in the studio, he has no band. No problem, just tell him to do a zany montage .. something like they did for the movie, 'Help'. It'll be GREAT.......
RINGO es un gran baterista y gran cantante no interesa quien compuso la letra o musica, las dos versiones son estupendas y los BEATLES GENIOS JUNTOS Y SEPARADOS!!!!!!!!!
"Then I started to write a bit, and I did It Dont Come Easy, Back Off Boogaloo, tracks that George Harrison co-wrote with me. Because Im great at two verses and a chorus, but ending songs is difficult for me. I write a thousand verses and wrapping them up is not the best thing I know how to do.-Ringo
@smile4mejmarie Amen to that~! This is what we all need to do-We are so confused with stuff these days' its time to Simplify, Relax, release Renew each day..Let it (whatever IT is to someone) and just not take it back, let it go, Even if ya have to do it a few times~! Feel Freedom & Just Take it easy-it can be if you allow it to~! ♥D

It's a Starkey/ Harrison composition. You can even hear George's wails in the lead. Love it, it's great stuff! :-R

This was released just after the Beatles formally broke up & as for a band Ringo always has fun with his projects ~
His first Solo Album "STARR" had all of the Beatles on it although on separate tracks making it his first, but the last album with all 4 Beatles
