@DT123ize Thanks for the comment. By no means are we saying 'This is how you must perform this effect' - quite honestly, it's not even the way we perform it. We kept it simple to keep the focus on the magic - a blank card slowly prints itself into the selection. There's no magic in method - how you get there doesn't matter to the spectator - the magic lies in that one moment with the card in their hands.

hey Ellusionist, this is coming from a 4 yr card artist so dont take it personally. i feel like some of your tricks such as these have taken a step back. i could think of a better way to do the first change, yet u stick with the 'easy way out' and go with a simple top change. i would love to see more dvds that really come from a fresh point of view. hope u take my advice . and keep the vid coming. thanks!

If I split the back of the Aura card gimmick off via the technique taught in The Art Of Card Splitting dvd, then glue on a different decks back, perhaps a pink or green Bicycle back design.... Could I do that without ruining thee way the gimmick works? Would splitting the Aura card gimmicks Back destroy the way the card visually changes?

There is an ink that is invisible, but upon contact with heat will slowly start to appear. Similar to what you find on the back of some checks. Your body gives off alot of heat, even your hands. This is still a fun trick.

I don't think people realise that the trailer wasn't about the performance of the magician. It was about the gimmick itself. Its obvious that the blank card was switched for the gimmick but thats not the point. Aura is extremily visual and will baffle spectators.

Rather than this i reccomend Imagination by G and SM productions. Spectator signs blank card then they hold it closed in hands. They "think" of a card and it materializes on the signed blank card.

Here you can't sign the card, and the effect is less magical, although it have more visual aspects.

Feel free to use whatever method suits you best. Heck, you don't even have to use 2 decks! Were not selling a top change or routine - were selling the gimmick :) appreciate the comments!!
