Often when recording a track, the lack of expression is a good foundation. Then you can go back and put in the powerful stuff. Obviously video taping doesn't allow the same freedom without some serious editing. But I think this young lady is Incredible. Dell, please help me figure out how to teach my kids. They want to learn, I want to teach, it seems so simple, and yet.

Buy them guitars, a decent chord book, print them some tabs off the internet of songs they want to learn (basic level stuff), and tell them to practice for an hour every day. They can even have a tv on or something. That's all I did. Just fiddle around, but put in the hours. The important thing is that they want to learn.
