@Ryannravage Sorry, it was right after patch so I had most of my actual addons disabled. It's pretty much one addon only, dominos (actionbars).

@tonydoan Only dominos in this video, but I think I mentioned it's right after the patch when I had some problems with addons not getting updated properly. I'm going to make better video in expansion for sure, and there I'll be using my actual UI.

Now everyone who whines about song I tell you what to do: Turn sounds off, now open your winamp or spotify or whatevery you listen to music with, now choose your best or worst song, listen to it and stop writing.
I think the problem with rogues in lower levels is gear, I mean, if you showed up in a BG at 80 with greens and blues and boa gear you will get your ass handed to you by anyone, but with full gear, you have ample time to react to an ambush, so I think blizz needs to look at the old pvp gear, maybe have some crafted stuff that gives you a real small resilience bonus and there you go. And as someone leveling a rogue in pvp, it's funner when they live past the ambush :)

@TLBxSaiyanify My spec is made in 1 minute so I'm 100% sure it's not good spec. It's just spec you make because you want to go test already, search Nalastai on EU armory and you find my char.

@Kratochvil1989 If you're holy paladin, then it's clearly L2P issue, rogue can't kill you alone if you have good gear, but if you're retri then I understand how you feel. I have 2x 80lvl paladins also so I know what I'm talking about ;). About game balance, it's 80lvl with new talents (that are balanced for 85lvl char and 85lvl abilities and gear) and 80lvl gear

@maccpatt Mut should hit at least 3-4 times that of hemo. Mutilate's new damage has been severely buffed (my rogue just hit 80, has ONE purple dagger and 3 epic pieces of gear which is nothing, and hits an easy 3k on each hand with muti). the main issue with mut is the mobility. You cant spec preparation anymore nor can you spec Elusiveness and Oppurtunity until level 85, making level 80 mut have very lengthy cools.
@maccpatt your only spose to use hemo for the extra 10% damage to the target and then use backstab and eviscerate the rest of the time ive hit has hard as 13.5k backstab crits....where the most of hit with hemo is like a 5k
@guhudaa I glyph it so that it has the bleed attached. Combined with the talents I took (extra bleed damage), it just takes a rupture/ SD garrote to inflict crazy amounts of DoT to high armored targets. For everyone else ambush > backstab > kidney shot > shadow dance > ambush > garrote/ ambush > eviscerate.
@maccpatt You obviously don't know anything about mut spec, its not for high damage,its for putting in a 10 second stun lock..mutilate does fairly good damage and awards 2 combo points, it also has a chance to inflict the poison from each dagger onto the target... I bet all of you Sub prods will reroll the next OP class as soon as cata comes out and sub rogues are nerfed.

@maccpatt Mut Rogues' opener depends on the target you're facing. You really don't have a 'set' rotation you use, it really depends on the circumstances. If you want to inflict massive damage I would say ambush > vendetta > mutilate > mutilate > envenom/ eviscerate.

@OSecador ya in patch 3.5 i was mut...44/2/25...but ever since the new patch came out i had to refigure everything lol...so i tried out every spec in the rogue class...i had the best results with subtlety reason being is that i killed opponents quicker than usual...also the mobility in that spec (in my opinion) dominates... and rogues now-a-days cant stunlock anymore :/....but for your low crit problem...idk bout that...i have full relent/wrath gear and the gems im stacking are agility and crit.

Your CD timings are what makes a skilled rogue, or in keyboards case probably a shitty one.
@0nly1nAmerica Well we all can have our own opinions, but I strongly disagree. Sub has way more mobility and utility than mutilate. You have more cooldowns to spend and shadowstep already makes a huge huge huge difference. And I'm not talking about battleground grinding, sure it's mindless spam there, I basically just instakib low gear targets with ambush + backstab + evi or something, you're right that's mindless spam =D
@Nalastai Well, actually you only have two more cool downs than mutilate, they get cold blood and vendetta and you guys get shadow step, preparation and shadow dance. Premeditation is the other one sub has that is in literal terms a CD but it's only 20 seconds and able to be used in stealth. As far as more mobile goes, i'm not sure where your talents go but the only thing you really have is one more sprint every 5 mins and shadow step (which is very helpful). So yeah i little more mobile.
@KeyboardWarrior1996 Cheap Shot and kidney shot are on the same DR. And Mut was for ease of combo points and poison damage, which was very useful against melee classes with high armor (warriors).
man i love sub despite the fact i have about 16+ key bindings but i don't like how their damage isn't consistent, it's mostly ShD spambush if they don't die your fucked but pretty nice mobility
@Deathboyz88 Actually I have more like 30 binds on my rogue, sure ~20 would be enough but anyway. I'd also like to say this video isn't about skill at all, I'm going to make arena videos in cataclysm I think, maybe some duel videos and world pvp. In this video, these clips are when I just instakib someone, too bad that doesn't happen every time, if there is healer around any of those targets, I'm not going to get anyone killed with this spec. I believe ShS works in 3v3 and 5v5, but in 2v2 not.
Rogue is more of a ZERG class now. The stunlock has been severley fucked over due to the DR. u cant kidney after cheap shot now with full combos, it does 3-4 seconds, you cant depend on the full stunlock anymore. IMO rogue is just easy to play now.
@manchesterwow Shadowstep rogues yeah, but both combat and muti still kinda stunlock. I'm going to be combat mostly anyway, because combat has my favorite ability from wow vanilla already, and that is gouge, don't ask :)

@Tersoneu Well your question is what I think is best, and I already hate mutilate after playing it for so long, so my answer is sub. But I think you want to know is it really better, and for PVP it is atleast. Sub is best for battleground PVP in my opinion, and I'm going to play 3v3 and 5v5 as sub. But for 2v2 I'm going combat actually, not muti.
If sub is back for rogue, I might start playing again. I quite the game after mutilate became PVP spec, I also quit when Combat was a PVP spec. Sub is the only way to play rogue, and I've always hoped Blizz would bring it back.
@subby33 I actually made this video for people like you, who had quit but would like to know how sub works. This video doesn't really show you anything because it's just few instakib clips from few battlegrounds, but I'm 100% sure sub is back for good. Expansion in ~2 months, so if you want to start again, would be wise to start preparing for expansions soon :>

@Nalastai Thanks for reply, hmm I may think about it. Dunno yet. WoW takes a lot of time away cuz it's really time intensive. I heard that cataclysm is really making things super casual now though? No more rating requirements on gear and equal rewards in 10 man raids? Can u confirm? If so , it may be possible to play some WoW and maintain a social life.
@subby33 yeah atleast you get same gear in 10 and 25man raids. I'm not sure about rating requirements tho. But atleast you can earn PVP gear by doing rated battlegrounds instead of arena if you like. But I'm not sure if rated battlegrounds are going to be any easier than arena, we'll see.
@OSecador Well actually the original music in this video was Pendulum feat. In flames - Self Vs Self, but youtube sensured it so I added the first and only decent metal song that youtube suggested.
@jamierapper For sure, I'm also pretty sure combat will be really strong aswell, and I'm most likely going to play combat but right now I don't really have good weapons for it so I'll wait for expansion. I personally dont want to go back to mutilate ever again, but it's going to work just fine aswell. Got to love the fact we have more than just 1 pvp spec again.

sub is the spec now...mut is ok...but the dps on mut kinda sucks....ambush hits high crits...and to me hemo hits harder rather than mut

@Nalastai Well, actually you only have two more cool downs than mutilate, they get cold blood and vendetta and you guys get shadow step, preparation and shadow dance. Premeditation is the other one sub has that is in literal terms a CD but it's only 20 seconds and able to be used in stealth. As far as more mobile goes, i'm not sure where your talents go but the only thing you really have is one more sprint every 5 mins and shadow step (which is very helpful). So yeah i little more mobile.

@KeyboardWarrior1996 Cheap Shot and kidney shot are on the same DR. And Mut was for ease of combo points and poison damage, which was very useful against melee classes with high armor (warriors).

man i love sub despite the fact i have about 16+ key bindings but i don't like how their damage isn't consistent, it's mostly ShD spambush if they don't die your fucked but pretty nice mobility

@Deathboyz88 Actually I have more like 30 binds on my rogue, sure ~20 would be enough but anyway. I'd also like to say this video isn't about skill at all, I'm going to make arena videos in cataclysm I think, maybe some duel videos and world pvp. In this video, these clips are when I just instakib someone, too bad that doesn't happen every time, if there is healer around any of those targets, I'm not going to get anyone killed with this spec. I believe ShS works in 3v3 and 5v5, but in 2v2 not.

@Marius1156 I use slow dagger (1.8sec) in mainhand and fast dagger in offhand (Shiv costs less energy)

Rogue is more of a ZERG class now. The stunlock has been severley fucked over due to the DR. u cant kidney after cheap shot now with full combos, it does 3-4 seconds, you cant depend on the full stunlock anymore. IMO rogue is just easy to play now.

@manchesterwow Shadowstep rogues yeah, but both combat and muti still kinda stunlock. I'm going to be combat mostly anyway, because combat has my favorite ability from wow vanilla already, and that is gouge, don't ask :)

@manchesterwow absolutly unbalanced game in this days :( my paly was killed by roug in six sec. when i dont have buble i am loose its litle bit crazy i have 1000ressi. I thogh i dont know new abilities of my class but if i watched duels another players.... :( My friend was ambushed for 11k in pvp gear it coulndt sound so strange but he is prot warrior :D

@Tersoneu Well your question is what I think is best, and I already hate mutilate after playing it for so long, so my answer is sub. But I think you want to know is it really better, and for PVP it is atleast. Sub is best for battleground PVP in my opinion, and I'm going to play 3v3 and 5v5 as sub. But for 2v2 I'm going combat actually, not muti.

If sub is back for rogue, I might start playing again. I quite the game after mutilate became PVP spec, I also quit when Combat was a PVP spec. Sub is the only way to play rogue, and I've always hoped Blizz would bring it back.

@subby33 I actually made this video for people like you, who had quit but would like to know how sub works. This video doesn't really show you anything because it's just few instakib clips from few battlegrounds, but I'm 100% sure sub is back for good. Expansion in ~2 months, so if you want to start again, would be wise to start preparing for expansions soon :>

@Nalastai i agree. i came back after 6 months also. Ty for vid. Sadly shs was lame in wotlk but im starting to get the hang of it now. This is truly the rogue spec.

@Nalastai Thanks for reply, hmm I may think about it. Dunno yet. WoW takes a lot of time away cuz it's really time intensive. I heard that cataclysm is really making things super casual now though? No more rating requirements on gear and equal rewards in 10 man raids? Can u confirm? If so , it may be possible to play some WoW and maintain a social life.

@subby33 yeah atleast you get same gear in 10 and 25man raids. I'm not sure about rating requirements tho. But atleast you can earn PVP gear by doing rated battlegrounds instead of arena if you like. But I'm not sure if rated battlegrounds are going to be any easier than arena, we'll see.

@jamierapper For sure, I'm also pretty sure combat will be really strong aswell, and I'm most likely going to play combat but right now I don't really have good weapons for it so I'll wait for expansion. I personally dont want to go back to mutilate ever again, but it's going to work just fine aswell. Got to love the fact we have more than just 1 pvp spec again.
