  • Cool vid.I used to use these set.Must be really hard to get hold of them these days especially the Duo Dock.

  • @foodafokkarez Not THAT hard, although it might take longer if you want a working one from the get go.

  • @sarahts21 Well I feel it's good enough(and enjoyable)just to watch some other people owning the vintage Macs and keeping them in a good working conditions.I don't really wanna buy them back again though. My office is filled with more than enough crap already.

  • Looks to me like Mac OS 7.6 or 8 because only those two can set wallpapers and work on some of the Duo's

  • I like how it ejects softly with a sound lol XD

  • they should make a macbook duo lol :D

  • thats so cool. what version of mac os is that powerbook running?

  • windows vista xD

  • hm probably 4.0 or 5.3

  • its just freaking awesome

  • Reminds me of a VCR ejecting a VHS tape.

  • The spring loaded eject looks slick.

  • @adryanv There's not spring, It's a motor.

  • does the powerbook turn off after you eject it

  • I don't believe it does -- it would simply put it into a sleep state so that it could disconnect from the dock.

  • nice, I love these things

  • It's a docking station for the notebook computer. However, the docking station also adds better video support and other features.

  • So that runs on PowerBooks? What's the purpose of the desktop computer requiring a PowerBook?

  • the "dock" has a hard drive and other ports built in, but it uses the duo's CPU and recharges the batteries, too. So it was basically like putting a game cartridge into a (older) game console
