the audio in the movie had some of the music too muted. it wasn't apparent or up front , centre stage enough aurally. they have mixed it in at a higher more profoundly or something. just should have been dialled up and more present
If they ever make a true to the book adaptation of Dean Koontz's Watchers, I can see the military theme or something similar playing in the background during Travis and Nora's confrontation with Vincent Nasco and the final confrontation with the monster. This gets stuck in my head quite easily.
I wish someone would download the opening credits scene with the score, without Young's eerrie music, and I used to think Jerry Goldsmith's musical scores were unbeatable, boy! Young and Chuck Clouser who scored the Saw films, superbly I might add) proved that theory incorrect, oh well.
During the production, this film was temp-tracked with Jerr Goldsmith's "Capricorn One" and Rambo themes which, according to Young, the producers were enamored with. They wanted something "Goldsmith-ish". Which he gave them. In the end, it was Young's talent and professionalism that produced a still-stirring piece of orchestral work .
Where did you get this music from? Is the full score finally available? I know the rejected score has been available on CD for over a decade, but I want the full score that was actually used in the film. :(

sounds like goldsmith, but still beautiful. his flowers in the attic is his best score i think.

@WalksBehindTheRose
Flowers in the Attic is a Great film score. It is So Beautifully Haunting. And Jerry Goldsmith is a Master.

While I like this score,it's just a tad remeniscent of Carol Anne's theme from
Poltergeist. Just the first part,though.
