Geograficly Czech Republic is central Europe, though politicaly was more then 50 years eastern Europe.

well, but the Czech Republic was a part of Western (Central) Europe for more than 1000 years before 1948. How important are those 40 (not 50) years comparing with previous 1000 years of western influence?
