I just played this and Souvenir back to back several times, and this song doesn't sound anything like Souvenir to me, not even the beat, except they both do use, you know, musical notes ... so there's that.

It doesn't sound exactly like Souvenir to me. There may some vague similarities, but it sure as hell isn't the same song. And I have to really search for the similarities.

the music in the verses sounds EXACTLY like DC's song Souvenir.
according to phil it was written couple of years ago so i guess this song preceded souvenir.
