@mochabrown305 YES! you can take the old sdcard out of your old phone, and put then put that same sdcard inside the new phone and restore JUST THE MISSING APPS with data! :D

@MrSomething4now no, it dos NOT delete anything for your sdcard. you will need titanium sync to upload everything that's on your sdcard to your dropbox. or simply hook your phone up to your computer and transfer everything

Is that right? And also do u back up system data while ur using a custom Rom? Sorry if I'm being a pain but thanks so much for the help!

@died4u525 I would ONLY choose the "restore missing apps with data" option. if you want to restore bluetooth, wifi, and stuff like that... look for the GREEN wording in the backup/restore tab! it would be VERY bad if you restored all the HTC system crap on a CM7 rom! lol. You would have no choice but to wipe your phone and do it all over again. lol. after you restore your missing apps with data, i would go to the very bottom (under batch) and delete all backups, then backup your phone again

When is it ok to restore system data? You said its not a good idea when going from one rom to another or one version of Android to another so what does that leave? Just if u factory reset ur phone or is there another situation when it's ok?

@died4u525 yeah, if you backed up your phone with Android 2.2 (for example) and you did a factory reset or something... it's OK! you can! but if you're going from one rom to another, or from one version of android to another... BE CAREFUL! Otherwise you will get non stop force closes and you will have to reset your phone! I hope that helps

@thesarahbardi NOPE! if you go back to factory settings, you have to beat each game and set everything up manually UNLESS you root it after you flash it stock. sorry

@edgeboy47 cwm does your WHOLE phone... Titanium Backup backs up everything INDIVIDUALLY, but there are batch jobs which do more than just one thing. So if you want certain apps or settings restored, TB is for you. But if you need to restore your WHOLE phone, cwm is the way to go. They both have ups and downs. I make frequent clockwork back ups in case something goes wrong, that TB can't fix. meaning, like screwing up your phone and needing to go back in time. like recovery on a computer.

I have a question so I just rooted my phone and I want to try out a rom but its a wipe version. if i backup all user apps and system data with this then i install the rom can i restore all my apps like how you did with angry birds? i mean wouldnt the wipe get rid of titanium backup as well

@edgeboy47 NOPE! because all the backups are on your sdcard! On TOP OF THAT, if you buy the pro version, you will be able to sync stuff from your memory card to dropbox. So if your sdcard gets corrupted or your phone is lost/stolen, you just sign into your dropbox account on the new phone or with the new memory card, and everything starts downloading! That's something I am going to cover in my new video! lol. I ideas ideas...
