The sad part about both Cecil and Wally is that they are both highly intelligent and knowledgable men. . . they both know their stuff when it comes to baseball, but because of their off the field activities, neither one will probably ever get to manage and / or hold a significant job within baseball.

@guitarman622321 - Backman was suspended after the ejection in Anderson, SC. Fielder had a similar incident with umpires in Florida that week. Backman managed South Georgia in 2007. The league folded after one season.
