Decor Lighting seems to be the thing brides want. Some see more value in that than the "DJ".

Hell, sell them 3k in lighting an throw in the DJ for free! LOL

Nice vid!! one idea for you! I use two flat screens with video clips of pass events , I use a slide show effect and ith video that got my cards out and some bookings, The one I did was for xveras but yes maybe a small setup on audio will work good too..

Nice Vid. I liked your bridal show setup. You're right a couple small speakers would've make it even better. I've found that with doing Bridal Shows, the good ones are hit and miss. Over the past 10yrs. I've found the ones that work for me, I'm sure you know the ones that are your favs. Try to lock out other DJ's from those shows. That's what I do. I pay the extra $500-$1000 to be the premiere DJ Company. It's worth it in the end. I still wish I had some of your toys! lol

yeah a lot of times, like the bridal show i did a few weeks ago,,, the only reason brides come is because they think they are going to win some sort of big prize package or some free trip... so brides register or even pay to get in thinking they are going to win a prize when they might not even be getting married. and they defiantly are not serious about getting a good deal on event services. its sad :(

Your booth liked nice, but I guess one speaker would have been a good idea, but if the show was dead it wouldn't really have made a difference i guess.

Really? Do you have more details? I've searched all over the promo only canada site and they don't list an mp3 disc. There is one carrier of Prime Cuts for Canada, but they only have the 'normal' cd's not the mp3s, that same company offers a different mp3 service but its really expensive. I think the rules are different up here in canada for mp3's discs, I'm having a hard time finding something like that.

Good video mike, I used to get Prim Cuts on vinyl. Wonder if it's the same company? Let us know how you like them long term. I agree, the booth looks great but I would add some audio equip. It a shame they had such a small turn out. I would not rule them out for the future. I they had a well put together show but low turn out, maybe they learned a lot about that market & future marketing from the experience. Give them your feedback. Good people/shows are worth a second chance some times.
