Just because Obama's regime has added almost 5 trillion Dollars to the US national debt does not mean that people should vote for staunch Republicans like Dr. Ron Paul. Imho all he seems to care about is the Constitution, as well trying to prevent more illegal immigration into the great United States of America. he is not like the other candidates and i would not vote for him. if he was younger and a bit more left-wing like Obama and Mitt Romney then I would vote for him.

I came to this country thinking it is a free country, has a great economy and I will be treated equally. But lately things have changed. Even getting freaking visa has become unbelievably tough.
To me looks like Americans are becoming more and more conservative, there is so much discrimination in Immigration (you would not know unless you are an immigrant).
I am glad Obama is in power but would have been more glad if Dr Paul was elected.
Hang in there. I hope it gets better. I have been thru the joys of immigration with my wife. The people who would discriminate against a lover of freedom as you appear to be are the fartherst thing from "conservative." A true conservative welcomes the immigrant so long as they strive to be a productive citizen.
I've heard that every candidate in both parties in the 2008 election was a member of the Council on Foreign Relations except Ron Paul, Dennis Kucinich, and Mike Gravel. Anyone know if that's accurate?
i've never been one to ally myself with parties, never understood why people just couldn't vote for what is right regardless of party affiliation. i'm a Texan and i have watched Ron Paul for some time, if the views he advocates are the TRUE essence of the republican platform, i am a republican.
who is this clown moderator...cameron is his name I think?? He looks like the biggest f***ing moron in the world after Ron Paul absolutely laces into him here with a basic education on what it means to be an actual ethical conservative. i'm shocked if this guy even still has a job at faux news...what a joke. this clip is an absolute and utter embarrassment for that clown. Ron Paul is the man.
America not anymore the America envisioned by the founding fathers. We have never been farther away from the constitution with Obama/Bush run governments.
its not over yet, we can always elect him when we succeed from the NAU to reform a government with the balls to stand up against the international banking elite.
It's horrible how the US media decides who is 'credible' enough for ordinary Americans to have as a president. I consider myself a social democrat (not pacifist) and I think my views are more consistant with Ron Pauls. Imagine the society that America could have built if ye'd spent all your money on your own nation instead of wasting it on Isreal who is more than capable of looking after itself.
I'm from England & I think Ron Paul has an inspirational message of individual liberty, sound economic practice & peace, JUST what the world needs!
What have u done America..? Voting in THE MOST Left-wing guy in government- in Europe EVERY countries government is Left-wing except 2 (Malta & Sweden's), the Socialists are taking us to hell.
They are raping the European Union like their lefty predecessors raped the Soviet Union. Next is the North American Union & shit is really gonna hit the fan.
How about the FINANCIAL TERRORISM that Bernanke and Paulson recently foisted on America in the form of a TRILLION DOLLAR, (yes... trillion$) panicked "bailout" of Goldman Sachs?
I don't think you realize how deep or how hot the water is that America is swimming in.
Other than Ron Paul, who is warning us of our predicament?
But people like you just keep on wringing your hands and having nightmares of Bin Laden hiding under your bed. Face it, Bin Laden is dead... likely since 2002!
I just watched it. F2F is a little simplistic and ties together many bits and pieces that may or may not be related. The America that was around before 1913 was much poorer and less developed - does this mean that the folks who control the US are doing a good job? Also, it looks like the tide is turning against globalisation, 'free' trade, the WTO, the Washington Consensous etc - does this not show that people are not in 'the matrix'? Public health & well-being depends on well spent taxes.
He is in favor of Reprisal policy of the founders. The same policy that was used against piracy/privateers in colonial America & USA early years. Target specific individuals and execute them. Nation-building and protecting other nations is unconstitutional, unwise, and taxpayers need to KEEP their money for themselves, not protect foreigners.
Every single position you've stated has been straight from the neo-con book of strategy.
Back in the Vietnam years, our government told us that if we didn't go to SE Asia and kill the commies, they'd soon be marching down our streets. Now, they're telling us that Al Quaeda will nuke America if we don't send our soldiers to the mideast.
See a pattern here?
You really need to watch the movie FREEDOM TO FASCISM by Aaron Russo. Google it, please.
Normally, I'd just blow you off as a koolaid guzzling, brainwashed neocon, but I think I might see a tiny glimmer of hope in your post, so here goes: Government is not friend. Get used to it.
"Suitcase nukes" are a fallacy, a figment of a science fiction writer's mind. Another phony "controversy" promoted by the neo-cons to promote fear in the population. They WANT you to fear---it allows them to take away our freedoms because the generally dumb public (GDP)wants to be safe at any cost.
I'm no neo-con, just a realist who understands that there's a group of sick psychos out there who will stop at NOTHING to destroy us. Suitcase nukes are the most extreme scenario, but they're no science fiction my friend. Every nuclear scientist acknowledges this. Nothing in the Patriot Act or anything else that supposdly "takes away our freedoms" has been used for ANYTHING but thwarting terror plots. No one has the "freedom" to plot to destroy this country without us being able to find out.
You got to understand we run an Empire. We got troops in 180 countries+, all over the world! I understand you conserned about Iraq, it is the troops on the news, but why are our troops in south corea?, honestly, bringing troops home is a good idea. I am not saying Iraq first, but christ sake Germany etc, why not? save this money and spend them on borders or whatever, I do not care, just bring the troops home and finish this Empire and lets take care of America. well thats my opinion.
His position was more that we should bring our troops home to strengthen our borders and bring home the business that soldiers at army bases would be spending overseas. But he voted to go after Bin Ladin in Afghanistan after 9-11. He voted against going into Iraq. Even our National Guard is overseas doing multiple tours and our own national security is at greater risk than before 9-11. I've never heard him say "we leave them alone, and they'll leave us alone."
He could have. He had enough support from the general public... as much as McCain or Romney had. But Dr. Paul did NOT have the support of the powers that run the GOP, and had few advocates in the media. He was CONSTANTLY marginalized, by the GOP & FOX. Watch the MTV debate with Ron Paul. HE ROCKS. If the GOP wakes up (they won't) he will be their candidate in 2012.
Extremely disrespectful to the best candidate on that stage by a long shot.. Viable candidate? The only reason he's not the candidate is because most republicans seem to have their heads up their asses and don't truly understand OUR party. Pisses me off..
I have this clip too! This is a perfect clip to show how the Republicans have overlooked their BEST candidate purposely and that they have NO remorse for the bad government they have dealt out to us all these years. they need to be booted to the curb and jailed for their crimes as well.
Man I wish Ron Paul was still running, but now since he isn't and has endorsed Chuck Baldwin, I'm voting for Chuck...
justing847, well ofcourse you are 100% correct, and it has been a policy of the spending of the middle class is what moves the economy and plain greed, look at wall street and they have the audacity of blaming the little guy when they push and push people for the home equities. What we have in our pockets called dollars is just plain paper worthless, i would start buying real money
feeknocks what do you mean by your comment? are you talking Nafta? please explain your self because what does Mexico and Canada have to do with how the Goverment Runs the Country? Even do you sound Patriotic, your comment really doesnt make sense. Enlighten us with an explanation
Read up on the Dixiecrats. The GOP is the new Dixiecrat party of our times. Do any us really believe that we would have seen Ronald Reagan or Barry Goldwater if they were alive in St. Paul? Their party was over in Minneapolis.
Latest headline reads: Record 9% of homeowners behind on mortgage payments. Good job Republicans! Thanks to your policies things just keep getting worse, and worse, and worse, and worse...
Our Founders were Patriots because they choose FREEDOM and the people over blindly following their Gov't which was the King of England.
Patriots defend LIBERTY and FREEDOM from enemies foreign AND domestic.
NeoCons and Democratic-Socialists confuse Nationalism with Patriotism and these are NOT the same thing. When you choose the state FIRST, you choose Tyranny.
Ron Paul gave a good answer to a brutally honest question. He would never gain any movement in the Republican party. He's more of an independent/libertarian thinker.
ATTENTION: Apparently chevron oil (corrupt American oil company) bought the rights to NiMH battery technology so they could prevent auto manufacturers from using it to build more efficient hybrid vehicles and force us to keep buying gasoline. The name of the company that produced the NiMH batteries used to be Ovionic Battery Systems, but Chevron and Texaco bought the company and changed the name to Cobasys and made it impossible for auto manufacturers to buy the batteries. Search it for yourself
liberals kill me,,, Genocide? child soldiers? land mines??? hey dig that shit up yourself, stop killing your own, and point that weapon at the ones forcing you to kill your neighbors!!!!!! we won our revolution, and now were losing it to fight for the revolution of others!!! PULL OUT OF THE UN AND QUIT LETTING ISRAEL PIDGEON HOLE US INTO CONFLICT!!!! (insert claims of anti-semitism here, you always do)
Doctor Ron Paul began the operation that removed the cancer cell in the United States. He might need a lot of assistants for this accident operation. I participate.
I like Ron Paul with the exception of his foreign policy (I'm Canadian). He would cripple the already broken UN. The UN needs the US to support it, but instead has been ignored and abused by the US over the years. Look at the US veto record.
Ron Paul is the closest to what the US use to stand for (isolationism, but not interfering). This would be better than what the US has now, but it's not the best route in a troubled world.
It saddens me that Canada's geography dictates our alliance to US.
Oh man, you can't be serious. Getting OUT of the UN is Ron Paul's best idea on foreign policy. The UN has zero credibility among most intellectually honest people, and for good reason. Any organization that would ever let China, Cuba, and Libya sit in judgment of other nations' human rights records is a complete farce. The US can manage her own affairs without approval from the UN. And so can Canada, for that matter.
And allot of intellectuals and ngo workers would strongly disagree with you about the role of the UN. What about tracking down offenders off the ICC, or unicef, or supporting refugee camps?
Why does the UN (in your mind) have zero credibility? And why has the UN had problems doing anti genocide work?
You didn't care about rwanda? How about the current ethnic cleansing in the congo? Do you not see the US as a citizen of the world?
Of course Rwanda and the Congo are tragedies. As are the Sudan, Tibet, the bizarre and murderous personality cult that is the North Korean government, Burma; the list goes on and on. But these things have happened since the dawn of man and will continue to happen until the end of time. No sovereign nation has any obligation to the world other than to refrain from aggression against other nations. (see Iraq) And no international body is entitled to to so much as one cent of US taxpayer money.
I respect your opinion, but I disagree. I would like a US that actively helped construct a better UN that could stop international crimes, hunt down massive human rights abusers, dig up land mines, stop child soldiers, aid in humanitarian relief etc...
However I would much rather have Ron Paul's vision of the US than the one that currently exists.
Are you against US military intervention to stop conflicts / atrocities that are not categorized as defence? (honest question)
Ron Paul owned those suckers, its too bad most of the American public is taken in by the subliminal word "change" Obamination repeats over and over. Fuckin stupid dumbasses.
Most people give me a long stare when I say i'm republican, mainly because they have then thought the steriotype that Democrats=Good and Republicans=bad.
We'll find out if the American voter is REALLY opposed to the Iraq excursion or not.
Anyone that actually casts their vote for McStain should be ready, willing and able to sign up for a few years of "service" in Iraq... or they should be expected to be DRAFTED under a McStain Admin.
I think we should call McCain names and ridicule him every chance we get.
He is an evil bastard and he deserves to be cursed and mocked for his participation in the destruction of this country. He is a member of the CFR and his voting record proves he is a globalist suckass to the Rockefeller establishment.
So my message to that over-bloated piece of shit McCunt is "I hope you lose by a landslide mother-fucker".
If you can assure me without a doubt that McCain will lose the election I would vote for Chuck Baldwin.
But you can't do that so I am encouraging all Ron Paul supporters to vote for the democratic candidate which will most likely be Obama unless something weird happens.
We absolutely cannot afford to have McCain in the White House. Obama could be tamed by the pissed off conservatives. McCain would be a snake in the grass while most of the GOP'ers would be snoozing through the whole thing.

QUOTE: "The Constitution is a socialist document."
Wrong. Very, very wrong.
Socialism is:
1) An economic system based on state ownership of capital
2) A political theory advocating state ownership of industry
Q: If America was originally founded as a socialist nation, why did it take over 200 years to implement this "socialism?"
It doesn't appear that you know what socialism truly is.
What is the definition of a Communist? That's just a socialist... in a hurry.

To me looks like Americans are becoming more and more conservative, there is so much discrimination in Immigration (you would not know unless you are an immigrant).
I am glad Obama is in power but would have been more glad if Dr Paul was elected.
greenleaf81 2 years ago
Americans DO generally lean to the conservative side.
Anyone who is "glad Obama is in power" is ignorant of political matters.
In a very short time, Obama has already told the public more lies than the previous champion, G.W. Bush.
RackEmPunk 2 years ago
Hang in there. I hope it gets better. I have been thru the joys of immigration with my wife. The people who would discriminate against a lover of freedom as you appear to be are the fartherst thing from "conservative." A true conservative welcomes the immigrant so long as they strive to be a productive citizen.

Will you do it?
RackEmPunk 3 years ago
I just watched it. F2F is a little simplistic and ties together many bits and pieces that may or may not be related. The America that was around before 1913 was much poorer and less developed - does this mean that the folks who control the US are doing a good job? Also, it looks like the tide is turning against globalisation, 'free' trade, the WTO, the Washington Consensous etc - does this not show that people are not in 'the matrix'? Public health & well-being depends on well spent taxes.
Struckgold 3 years ago
He is in favor of Reprisal policy of the founders. The same policy that was used against piracy/privateers in colonial America & USA early years. Target specific individuals and execute them. Nation-building and protecting other nations is unconstitutional, unwise, and taxpayers need to KEEP their money for themselves, not protect foreigners.
engine2truck6 3 years ago
You're NOT a neo-con? Really!
Please watch.
RackEmPunk 3 years ago
Normally, I'd just blow you off as a koolaid guzzling, brainwashed neocon, but I think I might see a tiny glimmer of hope in your post, so here goes: Government is not friend. Get used to it.
"Suitcase nukes" are a fallacy, a figment of a science fiction writer's mind. Another phony "controversy" promoted by the neo-cons to promote fear in the population. They WANT you to fear---it allows them to take away our freedoms because the generally dumb public (GDP)wants to be safe at any cost.
RackEmPunk 3 years ago

Manchin2be 3 years ago 2
His position was more that we should bring our troops home to strengthen our borders and bring home the business that soldiers at army bases would be spending overseas. But he voted to go after Bin Ladin in Afghanistan after 9-11. He voted against going into Iraq. Even our National Guard is overseas doing multiple tours and our own national security is at greater risk than before 9-11. I've never heard him say "we leave them alone, and they'll leave us alone."

RackEmPunk 3 years ago
I would love to see the US pull out of the UN and Nato as well.
toddw14 3 years ago 4
I like Ron Paul with the exception of his foreign policy (I'm Canadian). He would cripple the already broken UN. The UN needs the US to support it, but instead has been ignored and abused by the US over the years. Look at the US veto record.
Ron Paul is the closest to what the US use to stand for (isolationism, but not interfering). This would be better than what the US has now, but it's not the best route in a troubled world.
It saddens me that Canada's geography dictates our alliance to US.
krammitAll 3 years ago
Oh man, you can't be serious. Getting OUT of the UN is Ron Paul's best idea on foreign policy. The UN has zero credibility among most intellectually honest people, and for good reason. Any organization that would ever let China, Cuba, and Libya sit in judgment of other nations' human rights records is a complete farce. The US can manage her own affairs without approval from the UN. And so can Canada, for that matter.
wubuck79 3 years ago
I just want to hear it clearly defined by RP.
Do you not see the US as a citizen of the world?
krammitAll 3 years ago
Of course Rwanda and the Congo are tragedies. As are the Sudan, Tibet, the bizarre and murderous personality cult that is the North Korean government, Burma; the list goes on and on. But these things have happened since the dawn of man and will continue to happen until the end of time. No sovereign nation has any obligation to the world other than to refrain from aggression against other nations. (see Iraq) And no international body is entitled to to so much as one cent of US taxpayer money.
wubuck79 3 years ago 2
I respect your opinion, but I disagree. I would like a US that actively helped construct a better UN that could stop international crimes, hunt down massive human rights abusers, dig up land mines, stop child soldiers, aid in humanitarian relief etc...
However I would much rather have Ron Paul's vision of the US than the one that currently exists.
Are you against US military intervention to stop conflicts / atrocities that are not categorized as defence? (honest question)
