@Simsi76 Well, I hope you don't mean the break beat sample. That's the amen break dissected, originally from soul/funk band The Winstons' song Amen Brother. BUT this style is very much derived from hiphop which first sampled that beat.

Also rap≠hiphop. But good rap is good. But good sampling usually makes it hiphop. Still, everyone should have the right to sample if they have something original to say/play.
