  • You duh man!!! I wouldn't have tried it, but I bet you saved a lot of dumb kids from tearing up their fingers - or worse - trying to get 32 AAs!!!

  • Every kid knows they're all different some have AA, some don't...

  • I think it would have worked better if it was the same brand.

  • well.....why stop there.....go ahead...open up those things you found inside it.....what if there were like a million "AA" batteries in side each one

  • Thanks!

  • Hahaha this guy has got to be the biggest dumbass on Youtube...He was truly pissed when they were not AA's..

  • If you want to debunk something, you should start with using the exact same materials... different brand means a different manufacturer and therefore a different manufacturing process is very likely. Get the same battery and try again...

  • More like quadropo A's hahah

  • hem im sorry but its not even the same brand of the other battery

  • It is called an f cell battery

  • Watch kipkay's 6 volt battery hack and you'll find out what they are

  • Looks like 1:40 on is hammer time.

  • rayovac has the same type of batteries inside too.

  • Good - now i wanna know whats inside those things :) Little gerbils on bicycles

  • the one thing i have notice in this vid. You did not have the same brand of battery as the one in the other youtube vid. Each battery is different.

  • I came here to watch a video about the debunking of the 6V battery, not to read comments of ppl cussin each other, good grief. So many idiots & haters in this world that are probably 12 yrs old cursing each other out over a battery video, ugh, sometimes makes me wish I would have never visited youtube in the first place, too much negativity

  • @jacks1bonnielass SO WATCH THE DAM VIDEO AND IGNORE THE COMMENTS!!!!!!

DUH!!!!! JUST DONT SCROLL DOWN!!!!!!!! PROBLEM SOLVED!!!!!!!

OH AND BIEBER IZ GOD!!! PASS IT ON!!!

  • it is a type D battery

  • I'm in that weird part of youtube again, aren't I.

  • You should rent a plasma cutter next time you try to cut open a battery. :-))

  • Fucking idiot! Try using the same kind of battery you fucking retard!!

  • u guys are so retarded, gagfilms make those videos as a joke. they're called GAGfilms for crying out loud. feel sorry for whoever actually saw the video and believed it haha

  • this guy i s a douche'

  • Those look like Double D's, which are even better tan Double A's (if we were talking about tits!)

  • "It's obvious he is way wrong" What a idiot. Yes you should have thought a little more. If you wanted to prove the guy wrong the very least you could do is get the same battery that he had. Yours is obviously different. Here is a clue. If the outside is different the inside will be different. I don't care if there are double A batts inside or not. What I do care about is you not passing on your genes. Why are there so many idiots on youtube???. Is this really a cross section of humanity?

  • The original does call itself "Gagfilms"!

  • Comment removed

  • shit! i just bought 2 cases to sell all the AA's to make a killing.

  • different brands would offer a different battery of cells... just sayin...

  • Each of those Cells is 1.5 volts, so 1.5v * 4 = 6v

  • Thats cool :: a youtuber named kipkay also foundthat out

  • its called a F cell battery that you found inside

  • Morons, the makers of 6v batteries OBVIOUSLY released that "fake" 6v into AA battery video so all the idiots would buy the 6v to debunk it. And it worked.

  • Its the powercell battery!!! I did the same thing

  • Thanks for debunking this. YouMythBusters proud.

  • I did the same thing with a different brand of 6V lantern battery. The same type of batteries were inside (They are F's).

  • Uh the guy in the video with 32 batteries just poured out the batteries so they weren't even connected together...People saying it's possible are crazy....and those batteries in this video are not "D" batteries...they are "F" like others are saying...

  • Winning! You got the one with 4 D size batteries in it.

  • Those are F cells, same diameter as D cells but more current.

Not commonly used, but I have owned nicads that were Fcells many years ago.

  • lol any one that believed the original are idiots. How could you not know Daneboe videos were fake? Snopes even did something on this! People these days...

  • OMG.. This doofus actually went the shop, bought a battery with his own cash, just off the back of some fake ass youtube video. hahaha

Did the guy not read the comments below the video... lol

    What a tool. haha

  • Put the tools down befor you hurt your self son !

  • Please, unless you know something about electricity shut up and stop commenting..

  • I'm sorry but this video proves absolutely nothing other than the fact that the company you got your 6v from uses 8 large batteries inside instead of 32 small ones, more than likely it's because they know that people know how to do this now... And no they probably aren't like that anymore except from cheap places like radio shack because it still wouldn't be worth it. @wispa1a, you're a moron and apparently know nothing about stringing batteries together.. Enough said.

  • 30 x AA batteries would be over 45v of basic 1.5 pr batt(to much = boom)

  • If you are going to debunk something first try using the same brand. I personally cracked open a 6 volt battery purchased from Radio Shack in electronics class and it had the double As inside. Note that radio shack batteries are shit and only last about an hour though.

  • the 32 aa batteries are inside the 4 larger cells, he just didn't finish his experiment.

  • I knew a girl once with double a's

  • @TheKNOTTYMAN That wasn't a girl and that wasn't her love button

  • For those of you retards who want to say battery brand makes a difference lets do the math. All batteries no matter how they are built, if they use multiple batteries inside them and are of the 1.5 volt variety, would have to be connected in series to produce a combined voltage. So 6V battery would be made buy a combination of 4 1.5V battery, 1.5 x 4 = 6V. Now let's do the math on 32 AA batteries connected in series. 32 x 1.5 = 48. That would mean the battery would have to be a 48V battery. I c

  • @TheTwitch80 True, but if you have them paralleled in groups of 8 @ 1.5v and then series wired together x 4, that would make 6v. (and, provided all the AA are at equal max strength, the battery should have greater longevity this way.)

  • @TheTwitch80 you can connect batteries in parallel and they would increase current but not increase the Voltage. So you can have 8 banks in parallel and then in series these banks, would produce 6V.

  • @mewsez may be a good job of debunking, i'm not there yet... he doesn't have it in a vise, and he must soon cut his hands and/or snap his best vintage filling knife ;_;

  • How do I put this polity. Your skills with tools are amazing!

Sorry that was not it. I hope you see the humor I intended.

  • It's(the other video) is making its rounds in fb again.

  • What is your next video? "Santa isn't real!" ; )

  • Is this Ron Jeremy?

  • Gosh I cant believe how stupid some people are. They see one video and want to believe so badly that they wont accept a video showing the actual truth. If any of you fools want to learn the actual truth look it up on Snopes. But since you probably wont believe that either just go buy one & try for yourselves! Or maybe otherwise prove this guy wrong & show us all how it turned out with your own video. But if you want to find 32aa batteries in one of these then you better buy them at the same time

  • fail

  • you made a mess of that!

  • Maybe you could use that in flashlights instead of two d batteries.

  • But it's a different brand!

  • NO NO THE BLUE WIRE NOT THE RED WIRE!!!!!

  • Thos big fat sausage sized batteries are No. 60 Size "F" 1.5V X 4 cells in series providing 6.0V. check: batterymart com/pdf_files/EVR-1209.pdf

  • Good job debunking!

  • Diff brands. I wouldnt say this is debunked. This is an eveready and the one the other vid took apart was a hvy duty. Could be thats how they make them.

  • Thanks!!!.. 4 saving me the frustration!

  • Thanks for sharing I knew that was too good to be true.

  • at least his hair is amazing.

  • Thank you for taking the time to do that. :?)

  • Comment removed

  • it is to d battery put togetsur

  • Save 2 minutes of your life, he gets it open at 2:45

  • chain sawe anyone

  • why dont people understand that diff brands of batteries do it diff fucking wayyyyssssss same thing with a 9v and aaa's some 9vs have them some dont, buy the right fkn batt and then do the stupid waste of time experiment

  • Whoever wants to keep trying this battery trick. Please just send me the 3 dollars and I will test them for you guys. After I get over 1,000,000 $3 bills. I'll let you know if the video that the other guy made with the AA batteries was a hoax.

  • @kenshinro7 and who's gonna believe that? lol

  • i tried doing before i wached this before

  • Thanks great vid

  • But if you open those batteries, you will find a small egg that will hatch chuck norris.

  • I thought he got his finger at 2:26 LOL

  • Comment removed

  • It's real you just used the wrong battery moron

  • Even if it was true, why would 32 1.5v batteries equal 6v?

  • you didnt take off all the paper stupid thats why they didnt turn into AA's god your so dumb

  • @TheJeffjeff1 LOOOOOL pwned!!

  • @TheJeffjeff1 What an asshole! They turned into huge batteries instead!

  • that is the wrong 6v

  • now open those batteries inside

  • @132456jojo ITS BATTERIES ALL THE WAY DOWN

  • @132456jojo Those are cells inside, not batteries.

  • Think about it people. It is impossible for there to be 32 AA in a 6v battery. AA batteries are 1.5v. Multiply 1.5v x 32 and you don't get 6v, you get 48v. Duh! Another thing, the original video that shows that there is, is by a guy who calls himself Daneboe and his company is called Gagfilms, GAG as in joke or not real. If you really believe there's 32 AA's in a lantern battery you're a fucking idiot.

  • @gamewizard um actually you could totally get 6v from 32 AA's. like 6v/ by 1.5v AA is 4 batteries in series, so [8 parallel sets] of [4 AA's in series] would surely work out, and would stack up in the right shape, 2 layers, 4x4 AA's each. hah. yeah im' really bored : )

  • @gamewizard Actually you can connect batteries in a series and parallel connections at the same time. It is actually easily possible to make six volts from 32 AA batteries. Not saying that those batteries actually contain AA's. I suppose all brands do things differently and it's possible, but the Gagfilms thing definitely doesn't contribute to the credibility of the original video.

  • There was no need to pop it open. 32 AA bats take up far to much volume to fit in a 6 volt...

Simple math would have saved you some time and much effort.

Was interesting to see the 4 cells though.

  • in the heavy duty there a lot of diffrent kinds of batteries

    wrong type

    of battery

  • in the heavy duty there a lot of diffrent kinds of batteries

  • Open the f6 batteries there is aa's in them I checked

  • hahaha you got ripped off, you only got 4 oversized AA batteries.... take it back to Walmart for a refund......LOL

  • open those up and u have 32 aa bateries

  • I know it!

  • Haha, invest in a Dremel tool fool.

  • that is a f cell battery

  • no dats a lie they have have 4 black batteries not double a batteries

  • they are all connected serial and not parralel.the type is E=V1+V2+V3+V4 and I=I1=I2=I3=I4.thats why they are so big in size.the bigger size usually means bigger capacity in mah.if you could use a single battery from them it would last more.take digital multimeter and measure every battery volts.you ll see that its 1,5+ volts each of them.if they were connected parralel then it would be E=E1=E2=E3=E4 and I=I1+I2+I3+I4

  • but you didnt get the same battery so maybe they're different so you ont know that thumbs up if you agree

  • Wrong brand...

  • 4x 1.5V zinc-chloride = 6V pack.. all the magic

  • gagfilms dot com is the origin of that vid. you should have taken your cue from that.

I was also very frightened at the method used to open the battery.

There could have been great injury here.

put battery in vice, tighten securely and tap large slot screwdriver's end with a hammer to get that lid off. I was cringing while watching this video.

  • I'd be willing to bet you got yourself some kickass 1.5v cells there though! Strap that puppy on the back of your TV remote and you'll be flipping channels till 2020 hehe

  • you bought the wrong brand of battery genius

  • not too smart are ya?

  • holy hairy neck

  • Keep pressing 1 and he says tigger

  • you need the right 6v for it to work ge tthe when from the video

  • @CrazyChiefXxX No, you dont. That video was set up to keep people busy/waste money

  • vvfdsdf

  • you know why theres not 32 batteries since everyone found out all the compinies freakin stop using 32 aa batteris because they had to show us

  • omg you should use tank shell to open this...

  • is their anything you can do with those big batteries?

  • Ofcourse it's fake! It's by danebo everything he makes is fake!

  • @Pretzil43 Inside... you've got some manganese dioxide, some amonium chloride and of course carbon electrode. I dont recomend opening them looking for some AA batteries...

  • you need to use the hevey dudy power cell battery

  • still thanks for showing me this vid

  • Let me point something out you used the wrong battery

  • 1:05 i thought he was gonna run in with a sledge hammer and beat the living shit out of the battery

  • WRONG BATTERY DUMBASS

  • ur retarded he said use energizer :/

  • you used the wrong battery

  • this is a double c batterie ^^

  • u used the wrong brand

  • fak an ghey

  • no! those are AA ! there just AA for giants :)

  • do the math that would end up being over a 32 volt battery

  • you used the wrong 6 volt battery

  • What you have there is 4, 1.5V. batteries. They won't physically fit in much but they will last a long time. Duracell uses "D" or "C" batteries and they suck! The rest of the space is packed w/ cardboard! They used to make 'em w/ cast-in-place cells. When you opened them, all that was to be seen was this black shit and rods. Pretty cool and they lasted forever!!!

  • u cant compare your video and his, because you are using different brands.

  • $3.50 is lot of $ lol........

  • I looked it up and there f batterys

  • nooo got it all wrong...to get the the tootsie center of a tootsie pop you got to lick it....so what you got to do to get the AA batteries out is touch your tongue on the two post that are on the outside of the battery....then your light bulb should turn on in your brain

  • strip those morom. also the energizer comes in no packages

  • everyone doing this is using eveready, which is the wrong brabd

  • F cells

  • But but but. You should check inside those batteries. Because you know, batteries are like nesting dolls. A23 or something..has watch batteries in them. :D DO IT DO IT DO IT.

  • those are Quad A batteries.

  • @Inyasha1139 Quad A's are inside of a 9v battery, 6 of them. This is a Lantern BAttery and that are D batteries. 1.5 volt each.

  • Batteries add the voltage: Two AA Batteries, each of 1.5 Volts, gives us a 3 volt current. So 32 AA batteries would give us 48 volts, not 6. Spare your 6 Volt battery, there is no way it contains thirty two AA batteries!

  • I think those are DD Size Batteries.

Now, "heave duty" is an industrial misnomer. Those are the lowest-quality batteries. They die fast, and rot inside devices, leaking out and ruining all they come in contact with.

You're better off paying a buck more and getting Alkaline or Lithium batteries.

  • @rafvrab

    No, those are F cells.

  • @rafvrab They're F cells

  • you need the heavy duty brand... its only one that has AA in it it has 32 in it

  • wow man you thought he was serious! ROFL......

  • OMG ARE YOU REALLY TEARING OFF THE PAPER THAT FAST? OMG UR TALENTED! ;D

  • HAH HAH HAH! @ 0:40 it looks like ur setting up a bomb! HAH HA HAH!

  • difrent brands difrent thing in side

  • dude thats daneboe for ya he puts in some real stuff then lies the rest of the time want a good example look up dvr hack by daneboe i dont no if i spelt it right

  • well duh 32 AA @ 1.5 V each would be 48V but 4 giant batteries @1.5V each would be 6V

  • @tomtortoise 8 banks (in parallel) of 4 batteries (in series) would still be 4.8v-6v with higher Ah/mAh, and would equal 32 batteries.

But as you can see that's not how they make 6v batteries. lol

  • fuckin retard arnt ya

  • whats inside thos battiers

  • lol, one of those day we discover that the li-ion iphone battery contains some of them.

  • The trick actually is true depending on the brand of battery. Some 6v batteries have the size you see in video which is about the length of 2 D size batteries. Some actuall have D size batteries and some have aa batteries. I know this to be factual as I have seen myself.

  • HA! you can not fool us - you are lip reading!! This is fake , there must be more in the silver ones

  • Duracell has 4 D batteries in it lol...

  • I opened a duracell 1 and got 4 d batteries!!

  • No lantern battery contains 32 AA battery, it was a hoax.

Hell the original video posts under the name "gagfilms" and went on to say that car batteries contain 1500 AA batteries, an ipod and a unicorn.

  • LOL What's with all this dangerous knife and screwdriver everyone uses? I would just saw gently with a hacksaw!

  • I tore one open and found about 200 watch batteries inside(you know button batteries.......YAHOOO

  • Come on sheeple use your fucking brain for once. AA battery = 1.5V. 32 of them in series would = 48 volts not 6. Wiring 8 of them in parallel units and then wiring those 4 units in series doesn't make manufacturing sense when u can just use 4 large 1.5V cells in series. Why make something the hard slow expensive way when u can do it the easy fast cheap way. Think before you believe.

  • A little trick only 74 people know about...if you freeze the 6v battery overnight before cutting it open, you'll get 32 AAA batteries instead of 32 AA! It takes about 14 hours for the AAs to shrink into AAA size in the cold, so wait at least that long if you need AAA instead of AA from your 6v battery.

  • @circlestrafe dude were not fucking retatred we both know theres not triple a or doulde a baterriesing 6v batteries

  • your stupid you need the exact brand: Powercell

  • This is exactly what happened to me

  • I had one of those 6v batteries some time ago which lasted me for about 10 years, and when I opened it up it was empty.

  • hey look at the bright size- now i can find batteries for my supercanceriphone

  • if they still are 1.5V you could still use em and you devices would last longer since they have more Ah (wouldn't use it on a remote tho)

  • dumb ass wrong brand

  • @ShaniaNnicholas the brand doesnt really matter
