The dumb asses on Maury can't think 5 minutes into the future, so they won't take advantage of this resource. In the end, it's a good thing for men (or anyone) to have that extra bit of control over their own lives. However, pills aren't all they are cracked out to be. Lots of side effects. Well, if there really are women complaining about a male birth control pill, and trying to stop it, then I'm surprised, because I'm a girl and when I first heard about it I wasnt upset in the least. I'd love for men to have a birth control pill, it would take so much of the burden off of women to constantly take the pill or go the extreme root of surgery cause I personally hate the pill and condoms. As long as it's safe for men (and I mean like real safe not 3 months later it's recalled safe) to take then it should be available.

I don't know if anyone has commented on this yet or not, but the morning after pill does not kill an embryo, as you have stated. It only prevents the egg from being fertilized. Mifepristone is the abortion pill, and it is not taken the morning after and it is not known as the morning after pill.

PS, men do have birth control its called a condom, and there have been plently that poke holes in them to get their girlfriend/wife etc pregnant. A friend of mine got pregnant a few years ago and her boyfriend eventually admitted poking holes in the condoms. And if you pay attention to what people are saying ive seen WAY more men objecting this than women. I talked to women about it and they think its great, means they dont have to ruin their bodies.

female birth control is far from perfect, its has detrimental health consiquences and is hardly 99% effective. Its not like a condom where its external, its something acting inside you chemically. That means different people get different reactions from it. My mother was on the pill and here i am.

Neem oil is poisonous in mammals. It's not as safe, as you're making it out to be. It's known to cause moderate to severe liver damage, if taken over an extended amount of time. Unfortunately, it's effect is not immediate, and it does not appear to grant infertility, until it has been consumed for several months. From what I've seen cottonseed oil is a better alternative, all-in-all considered, which is what the male pill is based on anyway.

But I'd have to say that percentage is so minuet that it couldn't possibly affect the production of something as important as a male birth control pill. You can't have the same rights for a different circumstance. Women are not treated equally yet, whether you feel shafted by them or not. Women do not get paid equally in the workplace, and many can not be sole breadwinners. Its not a fair or equal world- we would like it to be, but its not, and the best we have until then is compensation.

I care about women's rights, but I want male birth control on the market so badly! Yay the pill gave us freedom to have sex without fear of pregnancy, but it has only created worse issues. Women are expected to be on birth control at this point. Frankly, I don't want to. Hormonal birth control is terrible on the body, they are only now doing research into the effects on neural structure. Women aren't empowered until they can ask men to take birth control instead.

I don't know if anyone has commented on this yet or not, but the morning after pill does not kill an embryo, as you have stated. It only prevents the egg from being fertilized. Mifepristone is the abortion pill, and it is not taken the morning after and it is not known as the morning after pill.
And if you're going to use objections that women will use, at least try to get plausible ones that women would actually say.

Here is the deal: whenever you hear any public dialogue about this subject the voices are always female and they always say things like "men will forget" or "men will lie about it." Neem oil is poisonous in mammals. It's not as safe, as you're making it out to be. It's known to cause moderate to severe liver damage, if taken over an extended amount of time. Unfortunately, it's effect is not immediate, and it does not appear to grant infertility, until it has been consumed for several months. From what I've seen cottonseed oil is a better alternative, all-in-all considered, which is what the male pill is based on anyway.

You highly doubt it based on nothing other than your own ignorance. The male pill has been under development since the early 70s (I found an article in the Spoke Daily Chronicle via google dated 1977).
The fact of the matter is that finding a way to stop or block sperm production entirely without damaging male organs may prove to be impossible for scientific reasons.
If they released an unsafe pill to the market, you'd complain that it was a feminist conspiracy to undermine male health.

in terms of developing a drug that decreases or stops fertility its easier to stop one egg verses millions of sperm being produced on a basis- and that has nothing to do with the male birthcontrol pill. If the choice had to be made where you could only have one, would still make sense to produce female birth control first becuase they are the ones that actually get pregnant. fetuses don't make house inside of men.

I don't know why so many men trust women to take their pills. It's really scary how many have lied about it to force a shotgun marriage on someone, who she wanted as a spouse.
Men, listen up! If she tries to put up your baby for adoption, rush to the local orphanage and save it! You have a right to get child support from her if she tries this. Please, save your babies from these women!

There are biological and enviromental factors that reduce the effeciency. Namely in times of illness, stress- which also reduces absorption of the hormone from the intestines.

I'd like to hear from someone now who posts on here that is in this "slavery" situation. and kennit, I never argued against the male contraceptive pill, but the ill thinking that goes behind banning childsupport and women on these videos. Women are not stopping the production of the male contraceptive - its a false conspiracy theory. BTW Kennit, people get pregnant on the pill more frequently than condoms because the pill effeciency isnt at a full 99.9 percent on a daily basis, even when taken.

The there is no need for childsupport just equal custody. Otherwise sperm donars should be banned because you are neglecting the child from a biological parent. Work on that before you get to me on this nonsense.

The deeper you go, the more you find that your issues are with women, and womens rights. You don't want women to have them. You think kids should be taken by the richer parents, you think women sleep around by making decisions to keep men, but men shoudl have a write off and are "good" for not wantign to pay childsupport. You can't have the same rights for a different circumstance. Women are not treated equally yet, whether you feel shafted by them or not. Women do not get paid equally in the workplace, and many can not be sole breadwinners. Its not a fair or equal world- we would like it to be, but its not, and the best we have until then is compensation.

Nice try but women do get paid more or less equally for the same work around 98% of what men earn.
Its extremely unfair in the parenting world as opposed to the rest of the world in the amount of advanced rights women have.
If they cant be sole breadwinners then the parent who most likey can be awarded custody. Otherwise stop having kids or sex. If you are too poor to support it we all can work.
and the best we have until then is compensation

I have been to many countries, and never found one to have more spoiled children acting adults than america. I also know first hand that american men are in general very sexist- thats why child support laws were fought for and won.
