Porsche 911 Turbo Revving exhaust

it doesn't revs up as it should from lower rpm's,

much probably the engine is still cold !

I think that sound is the fan, unless the newer 911's are water cooled.

God I love the mechanical whirring/whizzing sound the 911's create!!! I prefer that sound to some deep or rat-a-tatt exhaust that overpowers the sound of the fan and cam chains you hear...

I totally agree with you... This is a sound that is seldom heard today with newer cars.
