I saw it had the same gearbox as the full metal/wood G&G AK and obviously that this had rails and was $400 ($30 less than wood) and ordered it right away. It's coming in the mail right now, should be here this week.

(Probably costs less in america but Canada charges double on all Airsoft apparently)

yeah, that sounds like a good idea to me. i use a full length ak for cqb and have no problems with length so you might want to look at a longer barrel gun just for the improved accuracy. (just my opinion tho)

Because FPS means close to nothing. Your Cybergun's gearbox is of low quality and made in China by one of the lower grade companies meaning the quality control is going to be lower. The G&G is made in Taiwan meaning high quality control. Understand that FPS doesn't never means quality. Where does everyone get that misconception?

I know fps isnt everything, but when you say cybergun's gearbox's are low quality u r wrong. yes cybergun used 2 hve low quality guns, but now there gearbox's are good quality. they still arent high end but are very decent. I dont know why people think cybergun's guns are still bad because they have improved a ton in the last few years. oh ya, and if FPS meant nothing, then why would Tim chrono all the guns?

Ok to be fair I'm giving Cybergun a little too much flak. They aren't low quality but they aren't up to par with G&G gearboxes. FPS means CLOSE to nothing. A high fps gun such as a JG can still have a low range and durability compared to a higher grade company with a lower FPS with a good hop up and better made gearbox components. To get high FPS it takes $20 at most to get a spring powerful enough. The G&G costs more because of its parts that are better general.

in general* They don't put in a spring stronger than 409 FPS because probably because hat would exclude your AEG from all indoor fields and even some outdoor fields unless you're going to use your gun as a DMR. Also the gun would last longer with a weaker spring. As you know this would probably be used as a CQB gun.

first off cybergun loves to lie to people and put high ass fps readings on the box by chronoing with .12s. and second my friend has the cybergun ak74u, we chronoed it at a field and it got somewhere in the 330's to 350 range (i don't remember exactly). one thing ill give cybergun for the ak74u tho is its accuracy.

40 degrees is preatty close to where i live in hesperia ca its on a 3000 foot elevation and in november its gets 36 degrees every morning but 40 where the gi office is located it still cold cause in summer 2 weeks ago it was 82 degrees at my house as we started going down the hill every 60 seconds the temp would go up by 1 until it hit 103 so there is a major difference
