  • i totally understand how he felt <3 :( r.i.p!!

  • hahhaahhahaaaaaaaaaa

  • ...I feel that in said manifesto, some of it is good insight, while some of it is just misguided.

  • I made a video similar to this. Watch it if you want to.

  • rest in peace pekka-eric

  • great vid!

  • Sure, there's a shitload of things going wrong in western civilization for the past 2010 years. But let's be honest; this guy was probably too big of a coward to stand up to his bullies, or too weak or whatever, making it his own fault. He doesn't really care about society, only using it as an excuse for his failures.

I am constantly pushed out to the fringe of my peer group, I'm not gonna break down and kill people over it. I'll be content to laugh, and know better than the idiots around me.

  • & you have people to laugh with? to hang out with? yeah? he didn't. have you ever had to ask your mom why you don't have any friends? he did. if you want to judge someone then educate yourself on the subject instead of being an ignorant prick

  • @VoDKaVicious :

    I do NOW, anyways.

There was a time when I was in a situation much like that of Auvinen. But then, I figured out what I had been doing wrong.

I have read about the whole case, and I gather that he was an excellent student, so he was perfectly capable of figuring out the solution to his problem too.

Looking at my old comment a second time, I stand by my opinion, but I do admit I put it more harshly than was called for.

About his manifesto, I *have* read it, and...

  • i was never defending his actions. they actually pain me quite deeply. i was in a similar situation once as well. some of the most intelligent ppl in the world has gotten so caught up in their cause that they lose sight of what's right & true. someone who angers easily can be influenced by trolls, & i think that had a part in it. & for that i hate certain ppl. i'm just very defensive of him...

  • I totally understood him, he faced the reality of life.

He respected rationalism. We all know the truth of life, and there's always hope to fulfill your goal, unless it's something supernatural.

There's only one achievement in life, and that achievement is to do what you have always wanted to do.

I'm not completely sure why he wanted to kill those people, maybe to show everyone the fact of life, maybe because he wanted to unleash his vengeance. But I understand him.

  • i hope that mothercuker burns on hell! KILLING YOURSELF is better than killing the innocent!! vittu!

  • & judging others for something you don't understand is disgusting. have some fucking respect. keep your opinion, but keep it to yourself. his friends & family won't like it. do you think we're guilty? do you think his parents made him do it? no, but they're the ones who have to read all this, so allow me to re-iterate... show some fucking respect.

  • @VoDKaVicious What I think is more disgusting is to have your screen name as the "online gamer" name of one of the columbine killers.. That is not only fucked up, but pretty fucking nerdy...I can't even explain how lame it is to use their gamer names. Vodka and reb... You kids need any excuse to be "different" any excuse to hate the world and be angsty.. So generic and getting very old, I think its time you fucking kids get shipped to war, forget sacrificing good men, sacrifice you sick fucks.

  • @eleventhsun well aren't you the self righteous one... first off, i made this account when i was around 15. second, i keep it because it's like screening calls. anyone shallow enough not to ask a question or 2 before verbally assaulting & or reprimanding me isn't worth my time. had you asked, or even read another of my comments somewhere, then you'd know i've had 2 friends who have done that shit. so don't think you know shit about who i am. it's just a name. get over it. you're acting the kid.

  • You're missing the point.

  • Good vid!

  • HÖH..

    No music..

    But that's good video.

  • To condemn the world of being universally corrupt is a pretty ignorant, narrow-minded way of looking at things. Even if it were true, the answer isn't killing people. You don't like how society is these days? You start with changing the person you are. Do that, and you're doing your part.

Shooting up others doesn't help anyone, it causes chaos and heartbreak. That's a bad thing. Some commenters on youtube are seeming to forget that. Eric's a villain, not a hero.

  • my cousin lives in jokela

  • i hope he made it.. he did right.. :)

  • Humanity is Overrated..

  • @Andrew1989124 ya thanks to stupid teenagers and brainwashed slaves who worship other people and can't think for themselves.. Thanks guys!!

  • Nietzche was a nutter. Auvinen was apparrently a mental case, too. You're just using him for your own political agenda.

  • Wow! finally a response video from someone who doesn't write for Hallmark! No incoherent cry for some elusive "peace". "Peace" is when people keep their feelings springloaded in the recesses of their mind and buy a Ipod to ignore the pressure! I wasn't bullied in school, but I feel for those who were. Any man knows this: you fuck with someone who didn't provoke you, he doesn't have to fight you fair. Ever notice those shootings only happen in white schools?

  • yes, in white schools, but the question is why?

  • Because in schools like the one i went to, there was no such thing as bullying, or rumors or popularity. The lil guy in the corner could be the baddest motherfucker you ever met. In sheltered neighborhoods, no one expects to get their brains blown out for picking on someone. So they get used to the mentality that they can do they want. In my school, if u step on someone's toes, u better make sure u mean it cause that lil guy might decide to cut u down the next day just to save his rep.

  • so what race are you and what kinda school were you in(ethnicity and race included please). DO you think these things can happen in primariy non-white school, like mixed school in cities and towns,

  • My school was mainly hispanic. There were no black gangs. And no mass murders. Mixed schools get less of this shit because race creates smaller subgroups. Also in suburbs, people know each other, so when ur an outcast in school, ur pretty much an outcast everywhere else. In urban schools, there's too many people in too many cliques to really maintain any 'popular' and 'outcast' status. If ur not happy in 1 clique, u go to another. no one's a reject. U can be a loner by choice though.

  • Because Finland has no black schools?

  • Ok. I'll try to be more serious. There's no answer to question why spree killers are always white because... they are NOT always white.

Typical spree killers are "white" or "yellow" or whatever you'd all East Asians. Facts: en[dot]wikipedia[dot]org/wiki/Spree_killer

One reason may be sociological pressure which is typically high in Japan, and not too uncommon in US and Europe. Also the idea of cleaning humanity of "wrong" types of people is quite a white idea.

  • psycho

  • Minusta kaikki nämä asiaa liittyvät videot tulisi poistaa jotta nämä murhaajat eivät saa sitä julkisuutta mitä ne teoillaan hakee.

Ainakin kaikki sympatiseeraavat ja ymmärrystä teoille hakevat videot veke!

  • fuckin bits

  • Ateismi tappaa enemmän kuin uskonto nykyään.

  • R.I.P pekka and victms

  • The truth is, society needs a HUGE reformation.

Everyone likes to think that the person on the trigger end of the gun is insane, but they're only fooling themselves.

There have been at least 20 school shootings in America since the Columbine incident in 1999, and they barely get any media coverage now because they don't want to scare the public into thinking that their society is poisonous.

BUT IT IS. Why do you think there have been more shootings in less time so recently?

  • Idiocratic Selection89

  • What the fuck does he earn on shooting at his on school thats just sick grow up!

  • Allmost everyone has the same insane response to this: "He attacked because he was full of hate yet I am to scared to actually wonder why that was." Same thing happened with 9/11

  • well i was probably more scaed than u cuse im in finland and jokela is maybe couple hundred km from me...

  • Europeans RARELY get school shootings. This is your first? Second school schooting in history in Finland

  • to be honest, his idea got out. And he gets other people to start this in a cascade effect. And he shows his determination for fighting and dying for his beliefs. And this will help to get people aware of the issues he mentioned to fix it.

  • hyvä vaa et se äpärä on kuollu, vittu jätkä osas tappaa 8 ihmistä _turhaan_ mutta on nii vitun aivokuollu et ampuu itteensä 2 kertaa päähä eikä vittu ees kuollu samantien.

  • R.I.P Pekka

  • Don't you be a little bit too old to idolize school shooters? Grow up!

  • Cho the hero of Virginia Tech was also 23.

    R.I.P martyrs!.

  • Finnish people do. Obviously you dumbass Swedes don't get it.

  • dude that wasnt a serious comment. i just dont like this kid okey? if you do, thats your problem not mine

  • what was the name of the song being played during the video he made?

  • KMFDM: Stray Bullet!

  • I don't recall Aristotle, Plato, Nietzsche, or Schopenhauer killing people to get their point across. Hmm, maybe he should have written a book. Even better, he could have started a religion- that has killed alot of people.

  • Their role in society was thinking seriously about the nature of existence and sharing their ideas with the rest of the world. Auvinen's role was recognizing how devoid of serious thought and principles the world is today and acting out violently against it in the hope of reaching at least a few people.

  • song name please, and download link....thanks

  • what song?

  • i love the soundtrack

    lol

  • HE HAVE A SERIOUS PROBLEM

  • His problem was he didn't take about 500 with his sorry ass to the Finnish version of hell for misanthropes. Next time bring a chaingun and about 10 barrels full of orange juice and gasoline with a timed fuse. You Finns seriously need to stop slacking off, what the hell would you Viking ancestors think?

  • LOL JD1985!!!!

  • Think about it, this world is a mess in moral issues. You can see children carrying guns and watching inappropriate television shows or movies. And its true that uploading sensationalist videos does no good. Our duty is to make conscience on others, and let them know that we can do something about this!! We can change the world!! Just begin... I know it does not mean much to write comments, yet, it is a start...

  • What is this? You're siding with the puritans and their moralist bullshit (the "You can see children carrying guns and watching inappropriate television shows or movies")

    At least a little.

  • What if I do? Its quite true, the worlds a mess.

Im not puritan and Im not siding with any religion or anything. All Im doing is telling people to be careful

  • How about this lets just destroy world and stupid people. And let the smart ones rebuild it and reproduce.

  • Than start with me, I want to bet out of here.

  • Think about it, this world is a mess in moral issues. You can see children carrying guns and watching inappropriate television shows or movies. • You are right when you say that the kid must have had some sever issues in his mind, what he did is not normal, But still not only his fault. What we do to others may cause harsh consequences, either on us or on someone else.

  • Its true that there must be a reason why events like this one happen so often nowadays. A few years ago this kind of things didnt happen. We can blame the school, blame the media etc, yet, we own our bodies, and he was not forced to kill people. This goes beyond being bothered or violent videogames. People arent taught tolerance to others; people are being disrespectful and dont care about what others feel.

  • The problem in our western world is that we're raised as soft pussies (or vice versa) and that our parents may not raise us with right kind of discipline. Also our society should teach us to tolerate SPIRITUALLY DIFFERENT ppl, not only racial tolerance crap. There will ALWAYS spiritually (without complete brainwash) strange/abnormal ppl, that's something we should all respect, not hate!

  • Älä hoe vittua. Ei se sun äiti sitä kuitenkaan sulle anna.

  • Thats why everyone should play wow. Fucker idiot.

  • wow is for queers

  • ehkapa mutta wow = huume. ei pysty lopettaa.. mut silti parempi ku murhata

  • These events are becoming more and more frequent. I think it's time we devoted some energy into the question: exactly what type of world are we preparing our children for? The current answer is a pretty mediocre one. That's why this kid - who probably was confused and unstable (but that's not the point) - did what he did.

  • I think he expressed himself with sufficient clarity to indicate that he had a working knowledge of how our society exists. Invariably, when something like this happens, people say that the perpetrator was crazy, dismiss the issue, and then forget it ever happened. That's not a proactive way of looking at this.

  • fayefaye17 It is very hard to push someone to the point they want to kill everything then commit suicide. You couldnt even begin to imagine what was going on in the mind of this kid. Kids are bullied everyday in our schools and sadly nothing gets done about it. Some kids are taunted, teased, humiliated, or even beaten everyday in our school system. I would like to see you try to live a day in his shoes and see the world through his eyes.

  • Sitä ei ehkä kiusattu, mutta Gerdtiä kylläkin...

  • Just to day at 20.15 Pekka Eric Auvinen´s parents told on the Finnish MTV3 that their son was bullied extreamly hard every day during his hole school period - and therefore he didnt have any friends left. In the end he was socially totally isolated. What kind of behaviour you would expect from a person humiliated like Pekka-Eric? And whom should we blame in the end?

  • @MikaELsheir so you're saying that it was ok for him to kill because he was picked on?

  • No - I´m not.

  • @MikaELsheir We should blame the parents a bit... If you ask my parents about my interests and what my favorites on youtube were they would probably have an easy time guessing. This kids parents had NO clue he was idolizing hitler, the columbine killers and talking straight shit online all day.. He talked about killing people, justified people who were murdered, and eventually did it himself.

  • @eleventhsun You are quite right. Despite the fact that I dont like to blame

mothers or fathers for their offsprings behaviour - I agree with you. Had the

parents had a better knowledge of PEAs way of structuring the world and

filosofies he adored - and if it had been possible for them to intervene

professionally - the outcome could have been different. However - we will

    never know it with certainty.

  • @MikaELsheir ya life is a bitch, and when you get passed hanging out with 15 year olds, the world gets much worse than bullying. People will watch you STARVE to death... So if you can't hanldle kids at highschool then what are you gonna do out in the world? I guess when all you know is movies and video games, have no soul, and no connection with the planet... You think like that.. BRAINWASHED by violent games and films.. Do you think they have school shootings in Africa?

  • @eleventhsun Well - I dont know. Or - at least I havent heard about any in Africa.

  • @MikaELsheir there was a school shooting in guateng in south africa back in 2005 that killed 2 people.

  • @ultradumbass I am sorry to hear that. I have missed that tragedy - fortunately I would say cause since then there has been so many conflicts and wars - smaller or bigger - all around the world. In the end you just become numb.

  • @MikaELsheir i don't actually live in africa either, but i saw eleventh's comment and i typed on google and i found it on the first link. i live in canada where the brampton school shootings and st. pius school shootings both occurred in 1975. they are the first 2 school shootings in world history, where the perpetrator was a student going to the school who started killing their teachers and classmates.

  • @ultradumbass Thanks for informing me. I vaguely remember those events in Canada. I either saw it on the tv or then I just sweepingly read about them in my morning paper. Those were the days I was - so to say - building my own career.

  • @MikaELsheir what sucks about history is that they don't get descriptive. they should instead of writing an essay, have a site with millions of questions and answers where you ask a specific question based on that topic. so if you type volcano. you'll have thousands of questions and answers, but they would also need to make sure that experts or people with a great knowledge of it would be allowed to answer, since there are idiots that write anything, and they need to make more detailed answers.

  • @eleventhsun school shooting in guateng south africa, 2 people shot to death.

  • @MikaELsheir Humanity LOL No one is to blame because humans are by nature bad

  • blacksmith8844 you're correct. There are too many that simply dismiss him as a wacko or psycho. What he did was terrible but he wasn't insane.

  • blame the school, noone would do such a thing for no reason, this kid was picked on day to day, year to year till it was too much i hardly think he was too blame everyone has thier breaking point, in his shoes i think anyone could end up like this

  • just bc you get picked on doesnt mean KILL EVERYONE! dear god, your crazy. -_-'

  • I think it's way more complicated than that. If u read his writings u'll realize he was actually well-read and philosophically literate. But unfortunately his thoughts led him to a point of nihilism where he just gave up hope on society instead of trying to work on changing it. what a shame, and a waste!

  • this is the most sensible approach to the issue that I've seen so far. Instead of bickering and getting emotional about issues like this, we need to see them as warning signs(symptoms) and seek solutions.

  • well said.

  • Get a brain.

  • If you really think society is such an evil entity and want to do something about it, don't post "sensational" videos on youtube after something tragic happens. Be realistic. How many people relatively are actually going to watch this? What will this accomplish? This is just milking the anquish of people here in Finland and trying to make some crazy point come across. So I believe you need to stop toking the green and work on getting a brain!
