  • @Insubordinate90 Hell yah i'm doign this shit for money i'm going to be a millionaire.

  • how much do they make a year as a starter

  • @Honeii Money isn't everything... it can't buy happiness or love

  • 3.7?! maybe for harvard or something but i dont think so

  • @x98ghost

No.. most medical school applicants have a GPA around a 3.8 or so.

You have to be a stellar students with tons of volunteer hours and shadowing experience.

  • @Trashjack101 oh. well my med school had a cum. GPA of 3.6 so i dont think it has to be THAT high

  • So it basically 1/4 of your life wasted in school. and spending more money than you'll ever get back. I think i'll become a business man who makes three times as much in less than half the time.

  • @link0zeldarulz89 Opening a business is no assurance of success idiot. Doctor's spend a lot of time in school, yes, but they definitely get a ton of money and the kind of financial security that no other occupation can command. There's a reason smart people want to be doctors.

  • @link0zeldarulz89 its seems you are lazy... also you do not have enough education for becoming a doctor... you and people like you are losers...

  • @gioojj who cares nerd!!!!!!!!!!

  • @TheMeSsI10FrEaK Fuck off

  • Wheww.... 4 + Years at a College or University, 4 Years at a Medical School, 3 Years Residency, (8) + Years Specialty Training, then possibly More Training. Jeez.. It takes nearly ((20)) years of training to become a Brain Surgeon, I guess I got my work cut out for me lol.

  • I have my BABS degree. How long does it taks me to become a brain surgeon?

  • To become a brain surgeon, you must first be prepared to become an old man. LOL!

  • So much respect for neurosurgeons (and doctors for that matter). They dedicate THEIR life to research, training, and schooling to save the lives of OTHER people. Sure they go through hell but if that's what it takes for them to make an impact on society, so be it.

  • @555TripleNickels555 Thats true!!

  • Wow by the time your through, you'll have now friends, be heavily in debt and probably 40 years old! Screw Neuroscience!

  • @MedicAlv1 actually once you enter the specialty training after completing medical school you can make anywhere from 100,000-300,000 a year an when you become a actual neruosuregeon you can make anywhere from 1-5 million a year plus you keep many good friends throughout your training

  • Some of the people commenting on this video have absolutely no idea what they're in for if they decide to go into Neurosurgery. If ANY of you are planning to go into Neurosurgery for the prestige, you'll be in for a rude awakening. Sure, it may be "easy" to say that you want to go into Neurosurgery, but do any of you have the dedication to stick with it after 10, 20, or even 30 years? Think about it...it's not all just about the money and the glamour.

  • thanks, every kid should see this kind of thing.

  • You better be smart and very on point..lol

  • in short: to become brain surgeon you need to have no social life what so ever.

  • @Keeeeeeeeth so...they'll have more $ than you.

  • @HoneiiDiiva

Who cares? You wouldn't know what to do with all of the money anyway, after 2 years you'll have bought everything anyway. Seriously, the 150-250k salary range is the perfect amount for 99% of people.

  • @HoneiiDiiva But you're hardly ever going to spend it on yourself since all you really do is work work work

  • @Keeeeeeeeth I want to be a brain surgeon, and i'm BEAST.

  • @Keeeeeeeeth thats a no BRAINER....hahah.......yeah.

  • @Keeeeeeeeth yes but they're pretty much the highest respected people in the world. srsly they have to go thru hell. i'd rather be a navy seals with asthma than go through that much hell

  • @junkevin Thats true!

  • @Keeeeeeeeth In short: to be a SURGEON you will not have much of a social life during training.

  • @Keeeeeeeeth at least until after college

  • @Keeeeeeeeth you can perform brain surgery on yourself to improve social skills

  • they make the highest doctor money

  • Why???

  • shut up dude!!! your sick minded!!
