  • And women HAVE TO COVER THEIR HAIR and women and men have to seperated!

  • THIS IS NOT AN ORTHODOX CHURCH because in Holy ORTHODOX PEWS ARE FORBIDDEN. Shame on those betrayers of FAITH.

  • Just pews are not beatiful there!

    Just kidding, but with love!

    From Brazil!

  • This is beautiful! One of my favorite pieces of music. Glory to God for His Church!

  • Wonderful! I love to listen to this hymn while doing my kitchen duties as a preparation for the feast of the Nativity of our Lord. Wish I could stop in for Vespers one day. We did visit St Elias in Brampton ON Canada for a weekend, it was heavenly. Sending many blessings your way from Canada.

  • One of my favorite hymns, love it.

  • Oh! I believe I venerated that icon when it was in Southern California last September (August?)! I still have a cotton ball which was soaked in the myrrh. By now it is all dried up though, even though I kept it in a sealed box :(

  • They came to my parish in June. I hosted two of the choir members, Fr. Patrick and Sdn. Herman. God bless!

  • @Rendova1 It is not dried up the cotton ball

The Holy Spirit never Dries up !

    Orthodox Brother/Sister keep believing !

  • No he left St. Tikhon's and went to St. Vlads...

  • Any idea where I can get a recording of this hymn by a male chorus using this translation. I have one that says "Hail, O Bride without Bridegroom" It doesn't flow as well.

  • Only one I know of (though I'm sure others are out there) is from "Sing Praises to our God" CD by St. Tikhon's Seminary Male Choir. I am not sure about if it's this version or the one you are speaking about though.

  • Wow, the choir is really good! :))

  • Yeah, I just wondered :-)

  • I have to ask, was Christ McGarvey in the choir at St. Tikhon's when this was done?

  • No idea, sorry
