You can bellydance at any stage of pregnancy, goof. You can do all sorts of physical activity while you're pregnant. Social stigma is where most of that "safety" nonsense comes from.

I saw this performance live, and it was amazing - not just the dance, but the audience's reaction, too - the hush, the women calling out "Mama". I had tears in my eyes, and had to leave the building to pull myself together after it.
