im sick of seeing videos of little kids who are shit playing the drums, so im glad to see that THIS KID CAN ACTUALLY PLAY

he obviously loves it and hes got good tech and sense of rhythm, and his 4-way coordinations great for such a young age

and he can play different styles so props to him

This is what happens when you train the shit out of your kid from birth. I know that half of this is natural...but the other half, if not more of it...is the work of lessons...heavy daily lessons. Now if the kid is 100% natural, then I am impressed. But just as children learn our languages in school, so can they also learn drumming or any other instrument for that matter. It's a routine. I don't know why everyone on here is so suprised.

I don't know why people give you a plus when you're wrong. I read a lot about Igor because that phenomenon interests me. I think the story here is different. It seems that if you took drums, lessons, concerts from that kid, he would be devastated. You suggest, I don't know, they take it from him and give him 'a normal childhood'? Look at Igor's smile when he plays. He wanted his parents to buy him drums - so they did. And he plays whenever he wants - they say so. Know his story, then judge.

............... This kid is just... how can you explain it? I started playing when I was eight and like most people took years and years to develop. Igor started playing and 3 years later, here he is... What a total genius! His perception, his grasp of it..his control is just unbelievable. Go for it Igor!! Talk about "living the dream".

Also, great job on the parent side to give him some ear muffs....  My ears started ringing full time when I was 23. Good job protecting his ears!!!
