  • The middle drum reminds me of a sharingan. o_o *nerdgasm*

  • at 5:23 omg...

  • 2:40 sharingan!!

  • amazing...:) world class:)

  • kore o kudasai...:

  • ouha j'adore ❤❤❤

  • These performers dont need a mic. on the stage lol :D

  • :P

  • very be good music

  • I had to stop playing the video. The too-frequent cuts from one performer to another were distracting. I want to see a performer long enough to get into it, not be jerked in and out of the moment. While they are obviously stellar performers, I also find the over-played false facial expressions distracting. I love it when a performer goes to their "happy place" inside and brings the music out. There is a trancendant look on a performer's face who has connected to that part of themself.

  • The name of this song aozora

  • I wish that Yamato gun in starcraft was this cool..

  • Bitch please, Matt Sorum can do this on his own...

  • I am excited I am going to see them next next

  • they have 666 drawn in the drums ...

  • The audience couldn't get enough of these performers last night at their concert

at the Lisner Auditorium! They were totally awesome! Thank you to each one of them for sharing their amazing performance and adding encore after encore to all of our enjoyment!!!

  • WOW! The performers are awesome!!!

The cinematography, on the other hand, was terrible!! You HAVE to cut away every three seconds? srsly? This is a live stage performance, not a rock video. We don't need 45 close ups of everyone over and over. I feel we missed half the performance cuz of the close ups! Fred Astaire had it right. Keep the whole performance in the screen at all times. Then WE can choose what we look at.

  • Saw them tonight. Loved it.

  • there is one thing wich is very rare in a show : the smile!

    that's why a love that show :D

  • They came to my school collegiate academy on the 5th, it was fuckin awesome! The roof literally started to crumble in our auditorium

  • Saw the show a few nights ago. It was just before intermission that I felt my heart burst open and I was feeling the joy that they were so clearly full of. What important work they are doing. If compassion is truly a recent evolutionary trait, then Yamato is on the frontier of helping the human race evolve. Thankyou!

  • gives me goosebumps listening to it

  • sure sorry i missed you in tucson. must be an incredible experience in person.

  • They are AWESOME!

  • thats how you get muscles...

  • Just saw them on Sunday and they amazing! Couldn't sit still and was tearing up at the same time. Lol!

  • So much more amazing live!

  • I just went to their show last night. Brilliant! Highly recommended!

  • I love the expressions on their faces :D

  • 27 people have no ears :D

  • This is the BEST Wadaiko group ever.

But there a some stupid people who make them play in front of old guys all sit down... Lame...

  • Japanese people are amazing, its like if god itself created this music!!! If you liked this try Yoshida Brothers, they play the shamisen, and are breathtaking!!!

  • I love these two girls

  • Saw them live yesterday, it was awesome... I love how they combined their music with show and humor as well!

  • I saw them live today, fucking amazing.. Such amazing sounds and the crew is awesome. Absolutely mind blowing. I wish I never stopped playing drums.. Gotta pick it up again.

  • @theravearkspeaks tell you rightnow if anyone of them hit you your pertty much Fucked:P

  • Something about Taiko drums appeals to me on a deep level. The Yamato Drummers are awesome.

  • I just missed them here in Stockholm, blaaaaaargh!

  • funny hair

  • amazing. i can almost feel the energy of the group.

  • such beauty from chaos... wow, i'm glad i watched them live last year xD

  • I've been there, it was awesome

  • wow, have just been to a concert. It was amazing, full of energy, and you can feel that they put their souls into this.

  • Screw P90X, I want to be a taiko drummer. And I agree with SulZala. I heard a taiko concert live as well and the energy is beyond words. Your entire body vibrates and its extremely empowering. I was mesmerized, and there were only two guys playing. I cant imagine the energy of being in a concert with this many! I can see why ancient Japanese armies would have these drums at the camps. It sure would boost MY morale before a battle.

  • Wow...playing the drums sure make you muscular.

  • @skypicy Only Taiko drums.

  • is this the group that performed in baguio way back in 2008? they are awesome!! :D

  • Japanese blue man group!

  • Just saw them live last night, one of the best shows ever!

  • I NEED TO SEE THIS LIVE!!!... NOW!!!!!!!

  • They're so fucking awesome. Saw them live. WORTH EVERY PENNY!

  • G-E-N-I-A-L!!! Absolutely awesome!...PERFECTION!!!...♥

  • Seeing them live, 8 april in Amsterdam, really looking forward to it!! First row! :D epic

  • @Caranuil You're going to cry mate! I did! ;)

  • they have dragonball z outfits haha!!

  • THIS IS CRAZY WORK! IT'S REALLY AMAZING! :O

  • thats so friggin awesome D:

  • Yesterday in Prague - AMAZING as usuall!!! They are my drug!

  • i dont think the drums are big enough

  • @sean1234hi i agree, even at 4:00 the drumstick isn't big enough.

  • i saw them today with school. totally awesome !

  • My friend got 2 free-tickets to these guys on saturday. He wanted me to go, so yeah, that I will do. It would be amazing I hope.

  • @Necronomous So how was it?

  • @sweetsoureisha

It was awsome. Never had that experience before, and liked it alot. The drummers where amazing.

  • Saw these guys live in Sweden last night. If you have the chance to see them in person, do! It's really inspiring, and to my surprise, really funny! Amazing music, amazing energy, really interesting coreography, and surprising amounts of crowd interaction. Everyone left the theater smiling, and although everyone was restraining themselves, I could tell every person in the building wanted to hit something REALLY hard... I've never before left a show with so much energy built up inside of me!

  • Even the women have pretty muscular arms...I guess if you did that all day it is quite the workout.

  • it seems wrong that there would be a mention of "hip hop drummers" in the related videos list for this one :s and completely unrelated to that or the awesome performance... the ladies in this group are pretty easy on the eyes :P

  • wooow Niceee!!!

  • Cool, and I love the way they smiles and likes what they play! I wish I were as wellshaped as those women!

  • I could see them when they were here in Brazil. It is a contagious spectacle, amazing!

  • This was great listening to while eating my Japanese food =)

  • sharingan on 2:31 xD xD

  • @xoerli Mangekyo i guess xD

  • They were been here in Ukraine few weeks ago...People saying it was coool, but i wasn't there, the tickets were toooo expensive...Nearly $100-200((( However, love them))) It's a pity that there is nobody who teach how to play on taiko...

  • @TheSergeOfficial :

It's a real pity that Ukrainians don't want to play Ukrainian music instruments, sing Ukrainian songs and dance Ukrainian dances AND develop the Ukrainian culture like these guys develop their national culture.

  • Mom, when i grow up i want to become a Taiko drummer!

  • Saw, heart and felt them play at my work today. Spoke with them and they are really cool. And damn does that big drum sound loud. They barely could get it into our demo / theater

  • great ,awesome, excellent :)))))

  • Excellent. Excellent.

  • I got the special privilege of being on the opening DrumLine that greeted everyone to the show for these amazing performers. Unfortunately, after you think you did a nice line-up of Cadences and thought it was pretty cool, not realizing who "Yamato Drummers" were, then you take a seat and get blown away by such an amazing performance...it kind of takes away that prior feeling of accomplishment. Makes you wanna improve, and at least get the beastly muscles that the girls have. Its sad and great.

  • Ich liebe es, war schon auf der EXPO 2000 begeistert und bleib es bis ich sterb.

  • This is AWESOME!! they are soooooooo good.

    I wish i could do this :)

  • there is nothing like seeing awesome TAIKO drumming in person. you feel the thumping come up from your feel all the way into you your chest. just way awesome!!!

  • Wonderfull,

  • dat guy lookin like son goku..

  • Apparently they're coming to where I live in Sweden in Feb 2011 o_O

And I also saw posters of them when I was in Poland in october..

  • @jontiswe

oh````i`m also in sweden, which city are they about to have the show??

  • @seccery

    Kalmar.

Probably they'll have it in Stockholm as well. Except that I don't know what city though :3

  • @jontiswe

I`m now in karlskrona, and I checked their schedule ,it`s supposed to be on 15th and 16th. But do you know how to buy the ticket online? or I just buy the ticket from KalmarSalen?

  • @seccery

Okay! That's cool. I don't know exactly how to buy the tickets yet, but I can ask my japanese teacher, she probably knows. It was she who told us they were coming to Kalmar.

  • @jontiswe I just bought my tickets for their show in Järna, you buy them on ticnet. :)

  • @Effots

Vår japansklärare har redan bokat upp mängder av biljetter så vitt jag vet XD

(I suppose you are Swedish, therefore I reply in Swedish :p)
