Scratch my previous comment. I just listened to Chris carrabba (vocalist) on aol music siging by himself. It is deffinately not him that sucks. I'm pretty sure its the backup vocalists and they aren't singing the proper harmony.

i like the MSG version better. Its not bad though. Most bands will kill to have a performance as well as this.  Give Chris some credit every song he writes is in a upper octave and its hard on a voice to place that many shows. So maybe he was just tried from doin all the shows.

I think their problem is that since the vocals in Dashboard songs are always so high (for a male voice, very high), they're particularly hard to sing. I guess that's what ProTools can do to a band when they try to sing stuff live that's got a tessitura too high to perform comfortably in public.
