When Wonder Woman is strapped to the table, why doesn't she use her Amazon strength to escape instead of relying on Superman to rescue her? Thr scene would had been better if Wonder Woman was tied to the table with her own magic lasso, which even she cannot break despite her Amazon strength;at least she would have ahd an excuse for being unable to escape.
@Girardifan Dr Droid made it very easy for Wonder Woman to escape his trap since he did'nt remove her magic belt & lasso or sedate her, but Wonder Woman seemed to forget that she still had her Amazon powers and decided to rely on SuperMan to come to her rescue.If the Dr. knew that Superman was on his way ,he could have set up a kryptonite trap to deal with him and been able to suceed in his plan.
The "Superfriends" cartoons were based on the comic books, not the live action TV series;in the comic books, Wonder Woman lost her Amazon powers when her hands were bound by a man. I remember an episode entitled "The Fear" in which the Scarecrow captures both Robin and Wonder Woman;when Batman came to rescue them, Robin warned him that it was a trap and Wonder Woman told him that they (the villians) fused her bracelets together to make her powerless.
@Girardifan In this episode neither her bracelets were fused together or her magic belt was removed. But for some reason she could'nt break free from her restraints, but it seemed that her bracelets had been removed.
@Girardifan The whole capture scene could also have been played out in the WW episode" Gault's Brain" in which Wonder Woman could have been KO"d and had her magic belt & lasso removed while being strapped down to an operating table. Gault could have been attempting to switch bodies with her using the same process like in this cartoon episode the only difference is that there would be no Superman coming to her rescue.
The producers of the TV show could had included Wonder Girl in the "Gault's Brain" episode. When Wonder Girl sees Wonder Woman strapped to the operating table, she tosses her tiara at the control panel to stop the machine;the brain creature quickly reacts, and Wonder Girl is knocked out with her own tiara. When Wonder Girl awakens, she is tied to a chair;with her magic belt removed, Wonder Girl is totally powerless and can only watch helplessly as Gault's brain takes over Wonder Woman's body.
That could have worked also but Wonder Girl's character was non-existent during seasons 2 & 3 and Steve Trevor's role was reduced to just being Diana Prince's co-worker so there probadly would'nt be any other way she could have escaped.

Another villian from the Wonder Woman TV series who could have attempted the same exact procedure as Dr. Droid tried on WW could have been Dr. Solano from the 1st episode from season 2. Both him and his partner Gloria could have returned in a later episode,both seeking revenge against WW and with Solano creating a powerful robot and needing to steal WW's brain waves to make the robot super intelligent and Gloria wanting to steal WW's magic belt and lasso so that she could make herself powerful.
