  • Esther , you are amazing

  • slow read

  • i think this looks awesome! thank you so much Esther :)

  • it was a great lesson with easy explanation but was kinda fast for me..but thumbs up

  • wow! this is by far the most energising sequence i've found. thankyou!

  • Great video indeed! Thanks Esther :)

  • when you say to do the sequence six times, do you mean watch the video six times, or watch it three times?

  • That's wonderful :) I really enjoy your lessons!

  • I love love love your yoga workout session they are energetic, articulate and demanding. I will continue to use your expertise. Thanks!

  • Thank very much!

  • For years I have tried to get my friend into a healthy workout routine and eating healthier. She wants to lose weight and.. I think this video helped inspire her to listen and pick up Yoga. She recently hit her goal of losing 20 pounds before summer.

    Thank you very much!

  • Waw, thanks for your yoga mam, i just started yoga from watching your videos..

something that i want to ask you, what should i do first for starting yoga? do i need to start with YOGA FOR BEGINNERS Pt. 1 or its up to me? i really thank you for your attention :D

  • @mathneverdies It s up to you really but make sure you listen to your body and never force yourself, all the best

  • Your really pretty no homo lol. and this really helped :)

  • Hi Esther. I was wondering if there were any relaxing poses that are good for just sitting and meditation. i like the one at 1:57 and and 3:25 (what is the name of that pose?) . i remember you saying that you could stay in that pose for a while (in a different video) so i was wondering if there were any other poses that were like this. i mean sitting for say 5-10 minutes in this relaxing pose. thanks :)

  • Thanks Esther for that great work

  • There are no limits to your success. Thanks for sharing the wonderful content and for blessing others. Much love, please sub back.

  • Cheers thanks for this!

  • I'm so not flexible, but this is great! I've always wanted to try yoga. I haven't worked up a sweat yet, but I'll keep practicing until I do. Thanks for these videos to help people like me out~~ :)

  • Hi, Esther, what will do us over 90 kilos? Have you some pozitions for us?

  • I've been watching your videos and I would just like to thank you for creating this youtube yoga channel. I've wanted to try quality yoga for a while and haven't known how to go about getting it. I've probably watched 10 of your videos this morning, copying your poses and routines. I feel awake and totally ready for my day. So, once again, thanks so much.

  • eh. CAN, I should have said. it CAN provide profuse sweating. Personally, I've seen instances where it DOES.

  • These comments amuse (and slightly irritate) me....

First, not everyone has weight issues because they eat like pigs, or because they eat junk...like pigs. One shouldn't ASSUME that ALL overweight comes from crap eating habits.

Second, for those who are new to yoga, it actually DOES provide quite profuse sweating, as it works all muscles in the body. In so doing, it builds those muscles, which in turn help to crank up the metabolism, aiding in a higher caloric burn.

    Great job Esther :)

  • @yaya564 actually for the MOST part it IS poor eating habits. I think what the person was getting at is many people who are already overweight do things like 'diet diet diet' or 'try this try that' crap appear to want to lose weight, but SUBCONSCIOUSLY use things like yoga as a way to continue their bad eating habits ie. 'if I'm not gaining now then if I do yoga I should lose weight w/o having to change my eating habits'. Then say things like 'see it doesnt matter what I do I'm just fat.' WRONG.

  • @yaya564 Well said!!

  • @yaya564 yes there are a tiny number of people with weird metabolisms or on certain medications but BASICALLY you get fat from eating more calories than you burn and you lose wieght by burning more calories than you eat

eat well and moderately, exercise -- that truly is the answer for 99% of everyone

  • Esther, you are an amazing instructor! Thank you so much. I feel great and energized with your amazing routines :)

  • Will the flexibility come with time???

  • Uuuhhh, i did this and my heart is beating so hard. lol i can see this working for sure!

  • I love her, and her space is AMAZING!!!!!

  • when we are doing the half bend.. I can't do it all the way. I mean if I do my back arches a bit, is it because I'm not that flexible?

  • @cvgf08 Your hamstrings or lower back might be a bit tight, just bend your knees a bit to make it easier on yourself till you can do it!

  • @yogatic thank you:)

  • I Love your vids im so usuing this video daily for around 6 months i dropped a whole dress size ;D THANKYOU esther <3 <3

  • I don't see how this would provide weight loss you need to sweat to lose weight. Yoga is more for toning than losing weight even if you do hot yoga you're losing water weight. You just don't sweat enough

  • I did this routine with the p90x but it wasn't well explained, thank you for showing it slow... I love this I was also out of breath thank you!!!!<3

  • you are my first yoga teacher ... :)

  • Esther-Nothing to do with the Downward Dog

I have always had excess skin/fat underneath my chin-saying this I do have a thick neck. Can you suggest any yoga positions that may help this area please?

p.s., Love your videos ...well done

  • You are a wonderful yoga instructor keep it up...!

  • But what if I'm a big fat bastard?

  • does it really make u weight loss???.... how manys do u notice u weight loss???>>...

  • Get the latest wieght loss tips here

  • great! thanks!!!

  • YEAH! I did the video twice and was going to stop but it really does make you feel great!

  • wow dahs cool...i'll give it a try!

  • thank you, i love your videos

  • nice video but instructor is bit too fast...it should be done very slowly..especially This shouldnt be taught to healthy people who are overweight..this could result in their injuries for jerking or doing excercises quickly.

  • Thats not nearly enough calorie burning to lose weight. Who are you kidding?

  • @WonkyDoodle Hence why she said to repeat it six times.

  • @MissxKarma Still not enough. And then you wonder why people give up and fail to stick with it.

  • @WonkyDoodle Did you try it ? Yoga looks easy when you're looking at it... But doing it is something very different.

  • @Morguidable Thats not my point (even though I still think its easy). There is no where near enough activity to actually burn any significant number of calories. Absolutely pointless for weight loss.

  • Excellent yoga movements to support weight loss.

    Steve

  • thank you!

  • Very good but not for me.

  • I CANT DO THAAAATTT!

  • practise like this 6 times per day and it will be efficient ???

  • exellent!!!!!

  • for someone who never practiced yoga before that will be difficult to do properly without injuring...yoga is really good form of exercising for everyone..for streaching and straightening body...that film didnt explain anything...ppl who cant teach properly shouldnt do that ;-/

  • Wow yor really flexable i tride this and it made me feel a lot better so thank you.

  • Hiya,

I find a nice Jacuzzi bath to be just as effective :)

    Check out my video..

  • iss a bit fast

  • are you a beginner? you should look for beginners video!

  • .......................

  • this burns a lot of calories. But if u r over weight u won't being to do alot of this

  • schmokes1, for once I have to agree. Usually, the proof is in the eating and not in the pudding. It's an old adage that people always misquote. She looks great though and is a wonderful exponent of Yoga. I wish I'd learned Yoga in the days when I was playing Rugby. It would have saved me a lot of muscular strains.

  • this is good for shaping your body into its best form. the proof is in the pudding.. she looks great.

  • she likes indian and friendly that''s all guys (:

  • thank you sooooooooooooooooo much it really WORKS!!! you are THE best!!!

  • Did it really work? After how long have you started seeing the results?

  • is this really work?

  • if you do it and keep on with it it does work, but as any other "sport" you have to be persistent

  • Hi Esther,

I'm a dancer and have always had trouble freeing up my hips enough to do the splits etc - are you able to do a special sequence for this?

  • Hi Esther, I was watching your yoga exercise and tried it several times and have helped me a lot in my breathing, I was wondering if you have some special yoga exercises for those who wanting to conceive a baby? I have heard from others that there is a good routine and if there is can you please let us know. would truly appreciate it. many thanks and God bless =)

  • there is deffinately an add for a big mac going while your talking about weight loss, hahaha ironic?

  • Rally really good, i'm already trying xD i'm 5 foot 10" high and 100 pounds i want to lose 12 pounds :l I'm 16 years old xD

    I'm from Peru

  • Hope I don't sound patronising, but really, you seriously do not need to lose any weight, especialy for your height. Tone up, lose fat & gain muscle, but stay the same weight at the very least. Do not be losing any weight. Also, at your age your still growing/filling out etc.

  • really good, cant wait to try it. hope to lose some weight.

  • Would Yoga really make a huge impact on weight loss? It doesn't seem like the most aerobic of exercises.

Are these moves specifically selected because they are the most aerobic Yoga exercises you can do?

  • im not positive but im pretty sure that the most beneficial thing in that regard would be that yoga can help tone your muscles.and all cardio helps you burn calories :] ?

  • This is really great!!!

    I'll try...hope that'll help loose some weight!!

Good video so I rate with 5 stars!

  • I am going to give this a go ;) I would like to feel flexible again..thank you loads Esther x

  • I just start doing yoga a couple of days ago. My body feels much better. However, my right knee hurts when Ibend it. Could you make some video for sore knee? Thanks.

  • one of the best yoga

i really enjoy it. thanks a lot.

  • i enjoy these yoga workouts...it really works & gives a great feeling afterwards.

  • The steps are easy to follow, and the inhaling exhaling has been made very clear.Thanx, Esther.

  • repeating the sequence six times--- does that mean the video six times or three times, since the sequence is done twice in each video?

  • you can repeat the video three, six or ten times, three times a week, daily or twice a day. this is up to you

  • Your amazing<3 Already after 4 days i feel much better. Almoust think my belly is getting firmer:O :) Thank you<3

  • Well I'm looking into yoga to release stress and maybe lose some weight as well, but i'm just beginning it. Is there anyway you could make some beginners videos?

  • i love this one!! it makes me feel so energized after i do it(:

  • yoga definetely helps to keep a toned and flexible body, but the best way to lose weight is keeping yourself away from junk food. You can spend hours and hours doing yoga or any kind of exercise but if you don't learn to close your mouth you're not going to lose any weight.

  • I believe that yoga is great for weight loss but i don't want to have muscles in my arms soo please can you help...and thank you =)

  • Yep, I guess that would do the trick...

  • es hat geklappt! Danke
