FFX has the best music of any video game, Shadow of the Colossus is a close second. If i say it then it is be a personal opinion, remember that before any stupid replies.
I was playing FFX on pcsx2 and I heard this song and I was like "Aww! Memories..." I was pretty much close to tearing since this brought back wonderful, beautiful memories playing this game. Loved it I absolutely loved it, although a bit too easy, but story line, mechanics, MUSIC was fantastic as the other FFs have been in the past.
This is my favorite song in the whole game, though I don't know why. Everyone likes To Zanarkand and Suteki Da Ne (both great songs too) but for me this song encompasses all the nostalgia this game brings me. It reminds me of the first time I played it, walking through the streets of Zanarkand hearing this song, having no idea of the amazing game that was about to unfold. The part after 2:00 is very dream-like and surreal, very fitting for Tidus considering what he is.
TIDUS = <3. He's so real and relatable as a character. I'll never forget his confident and sunny side up character, his funny remarks on this strange world called Spira and his emotions and issues. He's really a great guy. I'll never forget this awesome game, because of him.. ^_^

I was being serious to some extent though. From what I've played of Halo, especially the Reach demo, the games are shallow trash, I did not like them at all. Exclusives mustn't be destroyed, otherwise I would be whining about Halo not being on PS3, I just think certain games are suited to certain consoles.
Stop living in the past, an Xbox 360 250gb is almost the same price as a PS3 160gb, add on a year of XBL and it's more expensive. Not that I should be complaining when I own them both anyway.

If this happened, then either sony or microsoft would gain a monopoly on the consoles, and with a monopoly, they would charge a very massive fortune for their console. They would also hold the monopoly by stating to all developers that if they sell a game on another console, then they are banned from the monopolized console. No developer would risk selling on another console after that.

I do understand the argument in how his name should be pronounced, it comes down to how things are normally pronounced, while I don't know japanese it seems Ti makes a tee sound while in English Ti makes a tie sound and at the the very least would never make the tee sound so teedus just sounds wrong to us.

I'm a MASSIVE fan of the Final Fantasy's series. I've been obsessing over Final Fantasy VII for years now, but when I really want to play a Final Fantasy game over and over again, it's defiantly X. Even though I obsess over FFVII, FFX is still the best Final Fantasy for me. Amazing graphics for its time. Wonderful characters, but most of all, best ever story line. The beauty of this game is what makes me keep coming back to play it again, and again. So emotional.
i have never cared as much about the characters of a game as much as this, especially tidus and yuna. people can say final fantasy 7 is the best all they want, and its definitely awesome, but nothing will ever beat this for me.
@neothedarc I wouldn't say FF12 was a terrible game but it is my least favourite of the FF series. To me it didn't feel like a FF game at all, but I guess not everything can have a winning streak it depends on what styles people want to venture. At least they know now what doesn't work and won't make that same mistake again but like I said, it's best to broaden your horizons.

When I first heard this and read that it was Tidus's theme I was like- "No way, this doesn't fit him at all" But then, I listened a few more times. You can hear the sadness and the happiness, but I feel lie most of all, this song is about Tidus growing up and maturing. This song plays early in the game, just look at how he was from beginning to end. Tidus is a standout character I feel. He needs more respect, there's so much depth with him.
I wonder if people would still think Squall is a bitch if they were orphans of war who latched on to someone only for them to disappear leaving you all alone again... Before you were even ten. Yeah, sounds to me like you might grow up having some attachment/trust issues. He wasn't a bitch, he just didn't think relying on other people was worth the pain when they let you down or the grief when they disappeared or died on you. A life without love, but without pain. It's interesting actually.

Tidus has to be the most 'human' of all the FF protagonists. But he is far from ordinary, being the only one in Spira with the chutzpah to call out Seymour and Yevon on their BS 'Spiral of Death'. That's why it's HIS story.

The way you wanted Tidus and Yuna to be together, and when they finally kissed you smiled in your mind. The way everyone was so involved and the story always had a hidden meaning round every corner. This game changed my childhood. Not mario, not even zelda. Final Fantasy 10 - Best game ever.

I'm a MASSIVE fan of the Final Fantasy's series. I've been obsessing over Final Fantasy VII for years now, but when I really want to play a Final Fantasy game over and over again, it's defiantly X. Even though I obsess over FFVII, FFX is still the best Final Fantasy for me. Amazing graphics for its time. Wonderful characters, but most of all, best ever story line. The beauty of this game is what makes me keep coming back to play it again, and again. So emotional.

i have never cared as much about the characters of a game as much as this, especially tidus and yuna. people can say final fantasy 7 is the best all they want, and its definitely awesome, but nothing will ever beat this for me.

@neothedarc I wouldn't say FF12 was a terrible game but it is my least favourite of the FF series. To me it didn't feel like a FF game at all, but I guess not everything can have a winning streak it depends on what styles people want to venture. At least they know now what doesn't work and won't make that same mistake again but like I said, it's best to broaden your horizons.

Yuna's theme is a version of Suteki Da Ne
I thought that TIdus's theme would be a lot like Zanarkand.

i must have lost at least 30 hours of my childhood on blitz ball alone, i still need to finish this game, i was going to take on the dark aeons, but i gave my ps2 to a friend, and it takes to long to finish the last boses, but i agree, their has never been a game better than FFX for me.

When I first heard this and read that it was Tidus's theme I was like- "No way, this doesn't fit him at all" But then, I listened a few more times. You can hear the sadness and the happiness, but I feel lie most of all, this song is about Tidus growing up and maturing. This song plays early in the game, just look at how he was from beginning to end. Tidus is a standout character I feel. He needs more respect, there's so much depth with him.

I wonder if people would still think Squall is a bitch if they were orphans of war who latched on to someone only for them to disappear leaving you all alone again... Before you were even ten. Yeah, sounds to me like you might grow up having some attachment/trust issues. He wasn't a bitch, he just didn't think relying on other people was worth the pain when they let you down or the grief when they disappeared or died on you. A life without love, but without pain. I remember first buying FF10. It was the last copy i could find in my town. (Small town) Took it home and started playing. Was up all night playing it. And once the weekends were over, and i had to go back to school. My friend was complaining about how he hid FF10 game behind some crappy games so no one would find it, so he could come back the next day and buy it. lol, just happened to be the one i brought, and still own to this day. :)

Tidus has to be the most 'human' of all the FF protagonists. But he is far from ordinary, being the only one in Spira with the chutzpah to call out Seymour and Yevon on their BS 'Spiral of Death'. That's why it's HIS story.

Modern final fantasy stories and gameplay ... never be the same. This game changed my childhood. The thick story line that had you so involved that you were on the brink of tears, which many times I was. The way you wanted Tidus and Yuna to be together, and when they finally kissed you smiled in your mind. The way everyone was so involved and the story always had a hidden meaning round every corner. This game changed my childhood. Not mario, not even zelda. Final Fantasy 10 - Best game ever.
