Hombres, Javelin is an American made missile. The Javelin was designed in1989 by Texas Instruments and has been in production since 1996 by Raytheon and Lockheed Martin. But it doesn't matter where its made, if the UK wanted a license to build it in England they would have had it yesterday and there would be a BAE version in production tomorrow. The USA and GB have been sharing weapons technology and gear for a long time now (WW1). The Armor on our M1A1's was designed in the UK....its all good!

Ok maybe the weapons are similar and both are very effective on armoured vehicles but one can be carried by one man and the other one is just too heavy for one man alone. Weird comparison, the video compares 2 very different missile systems, one thing, is the Javelin, a heavy anti vehicle missile system which shoots a missile that hits from above while the TOW just goes straight to the target, and in terms of effectiveness such as carrying and damage, the Javelin IS the ideal one.

The only thing your 100% right on is the Chobham armor which is used in all US tanks.

the people who are saying that the british seem more professional just think for a second. we are an entire continent away so culture is alot different. these soldiers are 18, 19, 20yrs of age. theyre young and have alot of spunk. asia is really far away from home and family and many people have different ways of coping. if cursing and having alot of passion in there voices or just dancing in the middle of nowhere with no music seems crazy just know it helps them keep their sanity over there.

Weird comparison, the video compares 2 very different missile systems, one thing, is the Javelin, a heavy anti vehicle missile system which shoots a missile that hits from above while the TOW just goes straight to the target, and in terms of effectiveness such as carrying and damage, the Javelin IS the ideal one.

@vonkeonig - The UK has no part in designing the F35 .. The least the UK did was build the engine that was designed by Pratt & Whitney .. Lockheed Martin ordered Rolls Royce to build there engines for reasonable costs. Some Rolls Royce technicians helped in developing the F35's lift system .. radar and sonar are both American created ideals .. The only thing your 100% right on is the Chobham armor which is used in all US tanks.
