Yes, Carbon! I commend your choice :) it's by far my favourite... maybe it's a drummer thing :D I also like amber waves and indian summer though. Did it seem to you that this album was even more inspired in tragedy than the others? except for indian summer, that curious, curious song... :p
i thoght all her songs were aout some kind of tragedy lol. hum, i really never heard of indian summer is that a b-side? i cant play but i love drums, maybe that's the connection :)
Well, eventually I figured out that,by coincidence,I am a drummer (I didnt say a great one, lol) and most of Tori Amos songs that I really like (Spark,Carbon,Precious Things,Siren, etc) have very interesting percussions. From what I was told,Indian Summer was included in a few european limited editions,as track15 of the album. But generally it can only be found as a b-side,or as previous rare live performances or studio rehearsals, under the name Fresh Mown Grass. Lol fresh mown grass...
This is great stuff .. you probably listened and practice quite a bit till you got this right .. you should show this to Tori :) You probably like all of them, but just out of curiosity, which would be the 5 songs that you would point out as being the best, or at least your favourite?
thanks for the compliment!! my fave to play is def. A sorta fairytale, it's also the easiest one, but of this album as top 5 would be: 1. carbon, 2. sorta fairytale, 3. amber waves, 4. amber waves 5. taxi ride. lol thanks for asking :P. lemme know ur fave!
my favourites are:

A sorta Fairytale
Sweet Sangria
