i had this exact same knocking on mine and it was the power sterring pully i took all aux belts off and started up just off the bat and noise had gone try that mate
Hey does the car still have the knock when it warms up cause mine has the same knock and it goes after the car has warmed up and it still runs fine after 1000+ K's of driving it like that.

I replaced the brand oil (with ELF10W40 at Mobil 5W40), replaced the knock sensor.
Now run 137 000, with -7c degrees, so knocking or not he almost did not catch on rumor.
