  • I Have Pentium M 750 Dothan 1.86Ghz 533Fsb i915pm chipset

    Can anyone tell me how can i overclock it to 2.13Ghz I didnt try Clockgen but i dont know my Fsb Type like Ics915 or something can any one guide me i will be very thankfull if any help me out

  • *mute*

  • if pins are bent you can straighten them with a toothpick and a jewelers loupe so you have both hands free. i have done it. cpu is not totally dead if the pins are bent. it can be repaired as long as you do not bent them too many times trying to straighten them. too many bents will snap them off.

  • lol, what's the point of upgrading to that CPU. You will barely notice any diffrence. And stop asking stupid questions, you cannot upgrade a laptop CPU with a desktop CPU.

  • hey are you sure that you can change the processor of a laptop.

  • It depends on what laptop you own. In the instruction manuals of Dell laptops they show you how to change the CPUs, hard drives, and RAM modules.

  • You don't spread the heatsink compound with your finger. That'll just create air bubbles. You just put a bead on and let the heatsink spread the compound for you. That's how manufacturers do it.

  • I did not spread the grease with my naked finger. I used a glove. I had to make sure there was an very even thin layer of grease on the heatsink. The purpose of putting thermal grease is to remove air bubbles. If the heatsink is really big you don't have to spread the grease. There is no negtive in spreading the thermal grease. If you read the directions for certain thermal grease componds they even say to spread it evenly with a card.

  • my computer is soo hakin retarded! i unscrewed all of the compartments, and i found no heatsink or fan. i even unscrewed all of the screws on the corners of tha laptop, but the cover wouldnt open. i think my parents got my piece of crap computer at radio shack. (idk how much it costs cause i got 4 my bday)

  • hey can u upgrade the cpu with a regualr desktop cpu lie the Q6600

  • rofl yes. just buy another one and put it in, much easier than laptops. why would oyu want to upgrade Q6600? its almost top range

  • I want to something like this to my laptop it has a nice large heat sink so the new cpu won't overheat and it also has a zip socket easy install with no risk of damage to the chip ,my mother board can support cpu's up to 2 GHz but my memory runs at 266 MHz and I think that includes the bus (little behind on the newer designed boards) but I am not sure if it is worth it my laptop is compat presario 900us 5 old but the only good laptops I seen are around 1000 if you can help tell me thks.

  • How did you manage to go up FSB of the processor? I have an ASUS Z92M, with an AMD Turion 64 X2 Mobile TL-50 ==> 1607.5 MHz (8.0 x 200.9 MHz) [49°C / 120°F]. Regrettably, the BIOS was restrained by the builder, and also the DRAM frequency to 321,5 MHz (knowing that I replaced them by one 800 MHz, I shall like knowing how I can modify her to 400 MHz). And as for the temperature, I shall make some tests before.

    CPU ==> 1607,5 ==> 2047,63 MHz

    RAM ==> 321,5 ==> 409,53 MHz

    Name Song ??? ;)

  • where can u get laptop cpu uprades

  • hey nice video but could u tell me cuz i dont no much but can a laptop run amd phenom processor

  • The AMD Phenom CPU is only for desktop computers. The new CPU must be compatible with your motherboard's chipset.

  • why didnt you just oin mod the 725?

  • Does anyone know if there's a limitation for a Sony Vaio VGN-B1XP on a processor upgrade as I'm upgrading from an Intel Pentium M 1.7GHZ to an Intel Pentium M 2GHZ?

  • COOL MAN. I GIVE YOU FULL RATING!!!!!
