Agree that the top straps suck. I have the Speedmachine 100's, and I'm a large guy, and I too stripped out the plastic teeth on the cheesy 1/2" wide top strap. Replaced them with much wider snowboard binding straps (found online), so all is better in that department, but still think it's a crappy design to use such flimsy straps on mens' larger size skates!!! We need smarter designs and better quality, Rollerblade!!!!.... or I'll give up on you like I already gave up on the latest K2 stuff...

Try replacing and/or use the warranty for them to fix. They've been out for some time and we haven't had any that I know go back for that reason, so I'm thinking an isolated incident and you may just have a bad one (or two).

Straps suck. Always pop loose on mine. Total nightmare.
