  • Thx for posting this, very informational! I need to get a set of gloves like yours.

  • are these worth a lot? My grand pappy left his behind and not sure if its worth much or not.

  • NICE

  • OMG its beautiful!

  • No useable prints no tolerances and thusly, very little interchangeability; was the major impetus for geometric dimensioning and tolerancing. Would have been hell being a machinist / fitter in the old days.

  • Once again knocking the ball outa the park with a great vid! Beautiful pistol and thank you for all the effort u put into the history side of things, best wishes and take care MrC45acp

  • Another great video sir thanks again for the history lesson

  • What an informative video!!! Thank you so much for the history of this 1911!

  • beautiful 1911 its a shame more of them were not made

  • Great Info !

  • why do you have to make a vid of this, stop it.... jk, love the gun just like all of the other 45's you have.

  • 1911--- 100years yyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyaaaaaaaaaaaaaa

  • The1911 is 100 years old and more popular than ever.

  • i love every remington firearm i own. have any of you guys fired the R-1? i think its called, last i heard its still not going to be sold in CA. sucks because i love 1911, sexy guns.

  • @goodnightChesty1775 Yea I have a R1 and i could not be any happier... So far I have 400 rounds through it... Buy one and enjoy it. its the grandson of this one in the video lol

  • I knew of the Remington-Rand A1's, but was not familiar with Remington 1911's. Another great vid!

  • I have always wonder about Remington pistols... Thanks for the information and video. Nice example of the Rem 1911 to.

  • Enjoyed as usual, thanks.

  • Bakelite is pretty brittle. I can see why they'd go with the walnut. It's amazing Colt did not make any mechanical drawings. I've done my fair share of machine work and would at least make a rudimentary drawing just so I would remember the tolerances the next day!

  • Hell of a history lesson.. i have 26 1911's from 1916 to 2010. I learn from u everyday!.. keep up the good work.

  • good stuff as usual
