According to the Minneapolis Federal Reserve branch’s own website, what you could buy with $1.00 in 1913 would now cost you $22.55. So if we went back to a gold standard a $8000 TV would only cost $355. Due to having such high currency we would also be able to buy things from over seas at dramatically lower prices.......... i love all the new tv's and the innovation but things like controlling your tv with hand gestures are cool but after a week or two will get old and everyone well have wasted hundreds of dollars extra (if not thousands) when the go back to their good old remotes.
Wait, how old is this report? Toshiba to release their glasses free TV ,for the U.S. market, in the first few months of 2011? Did Toshiba also invent a time machine, and if so, why wasn't that on display at CES?
@azmirreader it turns out the were way too expensive, Mitsubishi LaserVue TV was $7000, the colour looked ''artificial'' also they were too many moving parts so the TVs were thicker than standard LCDs and the lifetime of the moving parts was problematic
@noobogoblin i heard the tv was able to display 80% of the eyes color gamut. there was a comparison on gizmodo and showed ironman on the laservue against the kuro.

I remember seeing something about laser TVs and how they are going to be the next big thing in TVs.
I wonder what happened? Were they DOA?!
