well let's see here i'm a part time worker in the grocery department but they sometimes will continue to schedule me 40hour(full time) weeks, I fuck up my back doing my job because they always have me work with all the heavy stuff, and the manager walks around in speculates shit he hardly does real work he is making way more money than me, fuck the union and strikes anyways, but I personally believe I should be payed more, its ok though like I say if they gice me shit pay I give them shit work!
@miguelmartinez1969 Well set us straight Miguel let everyone know where this is factually wrong. In a typical debate you don't just tell the other side that they're wrong. In response you should respond with facts of your own that back up your story and provide a defense. Spell it our stock boy, let us know the facts and where the video is inaccurate,
@miguelmartinez1969 WOW - you must have been the captain of your high school debate team, you really set us straight with that in depth, well thought out and factual rebuttal.....not sure about the rest of you but I'm convinced. It's funny that you union type seem to believe that getting louder validates your point....the bully and self entitled attitude really shines, especially behind the anonymity of the web. If us non union type are wrong, than prove us wrong, we're not closed minded.
@MrGenie87 It all seems to be factual in my and most other people's opinions. The only thing that isn't a fact is where the thick sculled union worker says her job is a challenge. It's not and it should be a minimum wage position. If the facts are wrong, why don't you set us all straight MrBrainDead? Let's hear what you've got. By the way, what clown school did you graduate from?
I'm guessing you're an unskilled worker based on your statement Lazybuttons and your user name speaks volumes I'm sure. Lazy and looking for more money than you deserve. Here's the test, ask yourself this question; if I wasn't a unionized worker what would my employer have to pay someone to work here. Based on a checker job at a grocery store the answer is minimum wage because you could fill all the positions in the state with people willing to accept minimum wage.
@PartTimeTrader Might as well make every job minimum wage with that ridiculous argument. Insulting people's username won't win you any brownie points.
@Lazybuttons No, only positions that require unskilled workers where you could find and train a replacement in a day should get min. wage. I'm sure you'd prefer that everyone from your position as fruit stacker to the president should be paid the same. That's called communism. Markets determine a job's value. If people won't do a job for less than $15/hr and there's a line of people that will do it at $15/hr, it should pay $15/hr, not what the union makes a company pay! You're still not debating
@Lazybuttons In order to have a two way debate you need to offer some facts and arguments not just statements that aren't supported by documented or defensible information. You're helping people understand why you should only get minimum wage through your fruitless banter.
@SalesVidz4Fun Never did say that everyone should make the same wage and nothing I've said could lead you to think so. More pay for better supply and demand is somehow bad apparently. Those companies are there to make a profit and that's great, but it shouldn't be at the expense of the worker where they can't live a at least safe life or the economy from the short shortsightedness of corporations. You say I am not debating, but you make a video with insults.
@Lazybuttons Choosing to support yourself and a family by working at a grocery store is the fault of the person in question, not society or the company they work for. If someone isn't intelligent to enough to understand that they can't support a family on a job that should be paying minimum wage, too bad. If they want more out of life and personal security, they should have got a better education and a better job. Not a crappy job and then force the company to pay more than they're worth.

I was laid off from my job over 2 months ago. I'm happy to say I just got hired as a strike breaker at a local grocery store in Los Angeles. If the UFCW strikes, then I'll have a job come Monday. Working at a grocery store will suck, but it sucks more to be collecting unemployment.
Speaking to union people really is a waste of time. Especially government union workers. When I was a kid these jobs were held by High School and College kids or women trying to make extra income. Now it is a bunch of losers who unionized and extorted obscene wages and benefits for doing a minimum wage job. Way to go. I hope you do strike and I hope you all lose your jobs and the Union is busted,

@ObeyTheWaffle So you should go get a job as a stock broker or as a design engineer. Wouldn't that help you make more money?

I am a grocery worker. This video is spot on and accurate. What do you find factually wrong?

Skilled and low skilled jobs/careers deserve good pay. That's your big flaw in your video.
