Yasek Manzano on trumpet. Cesar Lopez on sax (to the extreme right). Carlos Emilio Morales on guitar. Chucho Valdes on piano (of course!). The rest I can't rell.
That 's Mario "El Indio" Morejon on trumpet (other people in the comments have already confirmed this since I asked that question 2 years ago). Also - because of the air date it makes it very unlikely that's Cesar Lopez on sax, or if it is, he's a teenager. You're thinking of the wrong era of Irakere.
@AndrewMcIntosh You are right, I got Manzano wrong, but luckily I just watched the documentary "Jazz Latin Founders" about the history of Irakere where this, and other videos, are included. This one is credited from 1990. The caption reads Mario Hernández "El Indio". And that's Cesar Lopez, he joined Irakere in 1988 when he was 19 years old.
@cubanpirate El Indio's full name is Mario Morejon Hernanadez (as I stated), and Cesar Lopez is 21 in that video. The reason I know all this is because I represent BROWNMAN - a Trinidadian born trumpet player who has toured with Irakere & is now based on Toronto. He knew it was El Indio immediately. brownman.com for more on him if you're interested. The New York Times calls him "Canada's preeminent jazz trumpet player", but he's their top latin-jazz guy also. Check him out.
@AndrewMcIntosh Ts Mario " El Indio" Hernandez he was only 20 when he came to SF in 1995...I got a chance to jump in a cab with him ..i had to bribe a bouncer to get him into a club...

I love Latin/Afro-Cuban jazz! If it wasn't against the law for me as an American to travel there, I would've visited Cuba long ago.

Incorrect.
Yasek wasn't born when this aired.
