Dusty Rhoades has to be the most overrated "icon" in the business. Fat, ugly guy that cut shitty promos and couldn't wrestle for shit. He really did look like the type of guy that smelled like garbage. And now he's spending his later days kissing Vince McMahon's ass at every oppurtunity.

I bet if you asked most wrestlers, they'd prefer to be in the ring with someone careful instead of stiff. Hogan has been praised by many wrestlers for being safe to work with, that's probably what HTM was saying. And as "slickslickster" said, working with Hogan back then meant you got the biggest share of the purse, so I bet many wrestlers were dying to work with Hogan back then.

If you wrestle everyday, you gotta stay in shape and not be hurt. If your working a show with someone and they hit you too hard, it'll run you down and could cost you your job and your health. It's staged athletics, not MMA or UFC.
