Using a new Macpro, been fiddling with it to get the times right of each pad, and making sure the chops are correct. Do you chop your loops in FL too?

do you drop the tracks into a drum rack setup? I've never used FL, been working on abelton. I like the how responsive it sounds. WIth abelton if I throw a sample on a pad and press it, it can take like 2 seconds before the sample plays.

@mecal15 Yea first thing i do when i update my FL is i gut out all the stock sounds and put my own that i've either chopped from records or layered. As far as the synths I use Zebra2 a lot

do you use flstudio? and if so, do you often use any sounds from the software, cus personnaly i think they sound abit "cheap" if you know what i mean, if u dont use fl pls tell me which software, cus your music is great, and all softwares doesnt always have the same abilities, would love to hear that, and personally, it would be great if you made a vid where you show us like quick, how you pick up a sample, slicw it, and havin fun with it :) would probably mean alot to yourv other subs aswell:D

@THATGUY7o5 thats the key in my opinion buy stuff just because and make the best out of it. Thats how i've made some of my best tracks. I rarely ever buy a popular vinyl record. My biggest joy is sampling world music stuff most people have never heard before.
