I'm sorry; I reiterate - At the time of the crusades people were quite merry living together. But still it was a land grab, like we have oil grabs. Fuck all to do with religion itself, religion is an excuse, and a shoddy one at that- don't ever lower yourself to that level ....
What? Gnostic Christans? What Neo Pagan bullshite am I seeing? For money and land did they ravage; and religion was just a loose excuse...Gnostic christians my arse they were just doing what today's empire does, it's got fuck all to do with religion, let me remind you that at the time of the crusades all the religions were living together quite fucking peacefully. Gnostic Christians...lol
This video is very good. I think I'm going to start doing art that depicts Christians as dull-eyed monsters in human form and make a folklore about the evil things they do, their deceptions and why people should stay away from them. Should inspire some horror movies in the future. After all, it would be terribly rude of us not to return the "favor".
I am frustrated. Since becoming Wiccan I have yet to meet a Christian. Or person of organized religion. Who is tolerant and excepting of my beliefs. Makes me want to try harder with the "stay silent" rule. This song is true.
@SpadesOfDarkness45 totally agree. Im cathlic and come from a hard core cathlic family and my parents listen and love this band. more people need to respect the beleifs of others and just enjoy the music!
@blackbat1339 I agree with you, buddy. I've never seen any other followers of any other faiths other than Christianity post negative comments on pagan videos. BB and MP, guy
@blackbat1339 I feel the same way you do. And this "gem" on Landover Warmongering Church is really amusing: "Wicca is a stupid new religion". I call bullshit. Wicca (or Paganism/witchcraft) is as old as time itself. They just think it's new because they suppressed it for centuries. Paganism has only recently been able to come out of the shadows. Why is it that the only batshit insane Christians seem to be Baptists?
@GamerzHideaway Wicca (which is a Neo-Pagan religion) was started in the 1930's. Traditional Paganism, which Wicca tends to borrow a lot of it's rituals and beliefs from, has been around much much longer, than Wicca, or Christianity, Islam, Judaism, etc. Wiccans were not burned in the Inquisitions, Pagans, and everyone outside of the Church was. I am not an atheist, I may add. I just wanted to set some things straight. I am an Eclectic Pagan. Peace to you all, Namaste. <3
@philosophygoth91 Namaste, And thanks for clearing up the confusion. Though I do have roots in Traditional Paganism through past lives, which is where most of my loathing of Christians comes from. I do try to forgive them their misdoings, but it gets REALLY hard when they pull the shit that a group of Dominionists are doing now. Look up DC40 on google and you'll see what I mean.
@GamerzHideaway I feel that the Dominionists/Theocrats are extremely dangerous to our personal, and spiritual freedoms. Theocratic nonsense. I truly believe in freedom and equality for all. I am pro-choice, for gay marriage, and want the best for humanity, and believe in religious tolerance, and coexistence. Yes, debate is inevitable, but religious violence and oppression gets us nowhere. Peace, Namaste.
@philosophygoth91 I agree. In fact, I'm bi, have a girlfriend who's bi (and pagan), a teacher who's gay, a best friend/little sister who's bi, and I abhor what the Dominionists are trying to do with a great passion. We should fight back. Or pray to Columbia that the Dominionists burn themselves with the fire they're playing with.
@GamerzHideaway If we do not reach them through peace and tolerance, or attempt to gain their trust though love and acceptance, war is inevitable. I pray that it doesn't get to that point, but if it does, I will fight to my death for the equality of all living on the earth and those to live after us. The fire the dominionists are toying with, it will burn them eventually. With time all comes full circle. Whether it be by their own hand, by war or Nature's doing, they will get their due justice.
@philosophygoth91 I agree completely, brother/sister. I may be vengeful at times, but I would never wish harm upon others unless it's inevitable. And even them, I'd give them a chance to stop peacefully. I am a wolf. I strike hard and fast, but I do have my honor and pride.
@blackbat1339 Just to reply to you; ABSOLUTELY NOTHING, I'm a Christian myself and I can tell you that we are no different from any other creed, faith, belief or so on so forth. However there are simply too many blinded, self righteous, !@#$s who THINK that their the "holy" whatever of Christianity.Personally, I like and agree with most of these videos and I can't help but dislike those that attempt to force their faith on others, interesting note; most people who've met me think I'm an atheist.
Christ would weep if he saw what has been done in His name by cynical, opportunistic power-brokers all throughout history, who would use it to torment people whose beliefs confused and frightened them, simply because they made no effort to understand, only to judge and to hate.
@steven7steven7steven ,they never left, sure they were put down, but they're still here, just in a very splintered way, but it seems to be coming back together, with all that neo-paganism stuff.
@blackbat1339 I am Christian and I do think for myself. I don't take everything the church says without looking into it, even things that come from the bible. I respect other religions and acknowledge that Christians have done terrible things. I'm not proud that those from my religion have done these things, but I do ask people not to make generalizations about Christians.
For God's sakes, people, STOP preaching about your religion and comment about the song! When you post a comment about your religion, all you're doing is starting a "cyber religion war". And if you don't want any replies about other people's views on your religion, then DON'T post your comment! You're bound to get replies when you do. Great song...Wish people would stop preaching. Everyone here can worship who they want and shouldn't be judged for it by other YouTubers.
christians on a public forum. We have to be the bigger religion, and learnt o ignore them. So what do you say? next time you are on a pagan video and you see a christian bashing our religion, try ignoring them. Christians are like bullies in one sense, if you ignore them they have no power.
Pagans and Christians! Why must we argue? Are we not all people? Everytime I come on one of these Pagan videos I find Christians bashing our religion, and I think about how you never see pagans bashing christians on a public forum. Now I see I was wrong. So what if someone chooses to follow Christianity, thats on their heads, let it lie on their conscience. We as pagans take a lot of crap, and I can understand if you are overwhelmed or outraged by it, so am I, but you don't see me bashing
To all Christians: The Jews came before you. At the same time as they were around, many Pagan religions all over the world already existed. And incidentally, the old British Pagan faiths have no concept of a devil. So IN YOUR FACE!
I like the church. I can go there and get four times a year 40-50 € moneyticked for food. Only reason I would tolerate any kind of organized religion.
Can we all stop fighting now? I know, I know i just said something about tarot V christian but i just wanted to get it of my chest, i didn't direct it at anyone. Just saying it in general. Sorry. Please, it's a song. For listening and the comment section is for talking about the said song. Not about who'd perfer to have a tea party with Jesus instead of the Greenman. Thank you
Lol as a christian(I'm now wiccan) i went to some teen christian club thing and i said something about the tarot to some guy. The leader heard and did a big talk infront of everyone saying i was on my way to hell and damnation(If that how you spell it?) and to stay away from it because it's involved with the devil. Went on for like 5-10 minutes. I was just like...Lol? Thanks for that. Nothing to do with this said Devil guy.
@krissyXlol Which gospel? They are all different, and all written WELL after Jesus death. You know what cracks me up, is those that say the old testement is null and void, yet CONTINUE to preah the hate of Leviticus. Do you know any Christians with tattoos? Lev 19:28
@krissyXlol krissyXlol Rubbish. Jesus does not fullfill the Jews prophesy of a messaiah. Jesus, asuming he lived at all, was murdered because he was a threat to the stability of a Roman province. Just like shooting your mouth off in China today will get you a none too nice time in a gulag. The bible is hardly scientifically accurate, and considering you're probably reading the KJV, even less so. I wish you well with your faith, just don't let yourself get sucked in by the many charlatans.
@krissyXlol The Romans invented Christianity/Catholicism in order to help tie the empire together. Read about Apollonius of Tyana. The KJV is just as much rubbish as the NIV. Protestantism started in the 1500s. They were just as nasty to people as the inquisition was. They brought that garbage to this country. Read what happened to people if you didn't go to church in Plymouth or Jamestown etc. Did you know England didn't dispense with the religious police until AFTER WWII?
@sheavepin that's odd, because the Romans didn't like Jews or Christians either. They were thrown in the arena and made to fight with lions and bears etc.
And yeah, they didn't take Christian prayer etc out of the public schools for quite some time after that. I mean, if you want to have to pray to a God of a certain religion, go to a school especially for that religion. Or be home-schooled.
@krissyXlol You do know they were not written until well after Jesus was killed. (supposedly) Have you ever heard of wilding, of group euphoria? That's what takes place in a great many little churches. People get all bent on the music etc, and start giving in to what is happening. Look for a video on Youtube regarding people acting rediculous at Palin's church. I'm sorry, but it's nonsense. "I'M FILLED WITH DA HOLY SPIRIT!" (shakes body like a lunatic) Yeah,ok. . . . nah.
@krissyXlol I have read it. Facts? Where. Point the facts out. There's plenty of astrological reference there, that is pretty factual. There's more hatred and violence in that book than anything else. The filth Martin Luther spilled regarding Jews and women alone should make you reel. And which of the 20 different flavors of bible did you read? I am a Wiccan, and yet I can tell you no religion can be considered scientifically factual. Therefore, NONE is "the truth".
@krissyXlol I can tell you the same story regarding my Lord and Lady. We believe what experience teaches. Witchcraft works beautifully for me. I will tell you that the Xtian bible is not "the truth". No religion is. Much of the power to control your life lies within you. Choose a path, be thoughtful to others, and work at things. Don't put too much stock in the "writings" of illiterate goat herders from 2000 years ago. Put yourself in tune with Spirit.
@krissyXlol Well, I can't because you have "friend block" enabled, and I don't want a long message detailing your testimony; it wouldn't do anything for me.
@krissyXlol I don't think your logic is sound. It seems like every time someone states that something miraculous or supernatural has happened, you just take their word for it. It seems like you don't question the validity of these "testimonies."
Why are you so confident that your religion is correct? And if God has proven himself to you, how has he done so?
@krissyXlol And Matthew 5:22 says, "But whosoever shall say 'Thou fool' shall be in danger of hell fire."
I don't believe in God because I have not seen sufficient evidence for His existence. I never said, "There is no God," because such an affirmative position requires a colossal amount of proof to substantiate it, that which is also required for the opposite affirmative position that states, "There is a God," and neither side has ever provided proof that supports their position.
@krissyXlol I don't fear the Lord because I don't believe in Him. I don't fear the god of any religion because none of them have been shown existent. I don't go by faith. I never have, and I never will.
@krissyXlol Well, I listened to some of it, and his word is not enough for me. Just because he said it happened doesn't mean it happened. Now, if someone were to die and come back to life, be examined by scientists, and then confirmed to have died and come back to life, THEN you'd have something, but some former monk saying he died and came back to life without any evidence and only his word. . . that doesn't prove anything, and thus, doesn't convince me in the least bit.
@krissyXlol I will not ask for help from an entity that I don't believe exists. I've never heard of any evidence that proves the existence of Heaven, Hell, God, the Devil, or any other supernatural things that Christianity, and other religions, assert as true.
And I've most definitely never heard of any evidence that re-animation is possible or that it has been observed. If someone states that they have died, gone to Hell, and come back to life, I see them as nothing more than mentally ill.
And of course I wouldn't ask God to direct me and help me read; I'm well-aware of how to read, and I've examined many of the different interpretations of The Bible; I'm pretty confident in my knowledge of The Bible.
@krissyXlol Well, I've found a lot wrong with The Bible. . . A LOT wrong, morally and scientifically.
I'm glad that you've found a way of life that suits you best, but forcing it on others and claiming that is the only "truth" based on a personal experience that you had is just plain rude.
@krissyXlol I've read The Bible from beginning to end twice, and I can tell you three things; one: it's filled with morally repulsive things, two: it's not scientifically accurate in the least bit, and three: the "prophecies" are so vague as to mean anything that the reader wants them to.
@krissyXlol Although he never claimed to be a Christian; he fully endorsed Christianity.
Now, I wanna know something else. Who the hell told you that Christianity wasn't a religion? And how is it in the least bit appealing? The Bible is more or less a guide to immorality, such a disgusting book.
I wish we could stop the hate. I hear people so angry with things that have been done in the name of God, but why can't the hate of the past be let go? Forgive, but do not forget. Remember the past, if only to ensure it does not happen again and love everyone.
what pisses off the church about paganism is that they can't control the minds of pagans, pagans are not sheeps like christians that can't think for themselves needing the bible and church to know how to live and what to think.
@blackbat1339 believing in christ is not the same thing as believing in the church , does believing in christ message make me a sheeple and why i can't think for myself believing in christ ? where is the relation ? Nahh the problem is not within christ it's within man , hungry / war's / church even.
@blackbat1339 I'm a christian and I do think for myself. I'm not one of those funamentalists who live in an utter "Thou Shalt Not" lifestyle that even forbids enjoyment. I do not condone what the inquisition did to the pagans, but if you read the histories of the Early Church, and the Roman Empire, the pagans of Rome did persecute the christians as well years beforehand.
@Jakegothicsnake Pagan isn't a good term to use here. "Pagan" simply means any religion that isn't the majority. Technically, the Roman religion wasn't pagan, the Christian one was. The reason why early Christians were persecuted was not because of differing religious beliefs; it was because the Romans were a very traditional society that valued traditional rituals. The Christians, however, started causing civil unrest by refusing to participate in the society's rituals.
@Jakegothicsnake Well Romans though they were of a "polytheistic" belief they were a completely individual of other "polytheistic societies" The beliefs of the Romans and for example say those of the Celtic people are while in some ways similar are still very very different. That statement just makes it sound like you've lumped us all in the same boat. Romans and Christians along with many others peoples alike are responsible for these tragedies no ones hands are truly free of bloodstains.
@Shadowcast577 Wasn't my intention to lump up you guys up all together in the same boat. It's just that there's so many terms out there, and it's hard to keep track. Some call themselves "Pagan", some go by "Neo-Pagan", or "Wiccan", and it's just confusing.....:(
@Jakegothicsnake It really does sadden me to see that we all can't just get over these petty arguments. These petty ones turn into bigger ones and wars yet again are fought over ridiculous reasons. I think that most people regardless of what they may be would like to see some sort of end to the stupid arguments. I often sit and wonder if a day of peace can come between the people. To be honest I think we've enough problems now instead of worrying about what happens in the grand scheme of things.
@Jakegothicsnake I'm not saying that it was right of them to persecute Christians, but I'm just pointing out that they weren't persecuted for being Christian, they were persecuted because in the eyes of a majority of the Romans, they weren't fulfilling their duties as citizens. Other religions were accepted in the Roman empire so long as the adherents still participated in the Roman rituals. Just a tidbit of history and the culture of the Romans.
every religion is just a system of control, for a few to lord over others from the pope letting priests rape little boys to the pagan high priest who uses quasi religion to get laid on a regular basis. Be true to yourself and allow others to do the same, quit bitching.
@ukgreaterlondon red and white were the colors most commonly used by holy knights. Usually white bg with a red cross. the white symbolized religious purity/faith in god. the red was a symbol of the blood of christ.
@ukgreaterlondon red and white are the symbolic colors of holy knights (especially during the inquisition/crusades/burning times) red or the blood of Christ and white for pure faith in the Christian god.
Is not the Christianity....is the church "selling" us faith....that's the problem, how many are really Christians today? The Church will always want to have the upper hand and guide people....we ain't sheeps tho! Believing in God doesn't mean you have to belong to a certain "church" or belief....
@DoamnaDeCorbii Crusaders and men like Charles Martel are the only reason you are not speaking arabic right now.You fair weather gardeners can criticize the church all you want but at the end of the day it was the church that picked up the remains of the roman empire and united Europe once again and not the pagans.
Okay. Can the fundamentalists please stop watching Inkubus Sukkubus videos? Seriously guys, you do not have the right to insult our religion in comment threads, or anywhere else. I would LOVE for the responses to these (awesome) movies to be purely about the band and the music- there are other places to argue.
@DoamnaDeCorbii you do know your talking to fat old mindless fools? they might not know that this is NOT real life and they ask their dead "god" if they should post a comment onto our videos which is pointless. sorry if i offend anyone with using fat and old.
@DoamnaDeCorbii I respect your comment. I am a Christian. Christ lives in me and he has my soul.
I have been considering the Wiccan culture for some time and am thinking about joining. From what I've been told they all have individual ways of worship. Why can I not worship Jesus Christ in a way that is personal to me an me only?
Actually the song is talking primarily about the crusades at which time this song was completely justified. Granted this song could apply to most of the major religious groups of the day however the other religions generally did not butcher women and children in the name of love... not that they didn't butcher women and children they were just more honest about why they did it
@MijaTaisho But also I personally don't hate all Christians my message was directed at the modern extremist groups who do neo-crusading like the kkk, neo-nazi groups and so on. Those who fight in the name of god who will shoot you with a smile and say..."You are a demon god wants me to do this." Those blinded idiots that is who I hate. Not the ones who were raised into it and don't cause acts of violence based on the belief and then try to mask it up by saying oh but its for peace.
holy crap! is it just me or she reminds u guys of ville valo from the wicked game vid! is there an artist this child did not try to copy from?! still love him!
@ENCofficial Yes i know what a Gothi is, its very good that youve found a place in your religion. Personally i dont give myself titles, because, in my mind, titles themselves set limitations.
I like studying religion and history, currently im studying Shinto which is very interesting, i like Amaterasu, the sun goddess.
@Shadowsilas Eh that was my old account um for when I played in another band. We don't use the term gothi to limit ourselves lone wolf gothi means a warrior soul on midgard who sends message of Norse by word not text. Norse has not actual text as the Eddas are far more Christian as the Crusaders were dumb enough to think we had a holy book like them. Basically all a lone wolf gothi is in short is a modern Norsmen in the path of Odinism.
@Shadowsilas So its not really limiting as we educate ourselves on all religions, we respect all deities but we honor and stay true to the Norse gods and goddesses. But our title doesn't limit us to anything if we were ceremonial gothis or Gyðja then we would be limited we broke the limit with Odinism which is the path I follow. I use the new band I front garmr to educate people on Norse and my ancestors both Norse and Anglo Saxon. I do honor my other ancestors like Spaniards and Vlad III.
@ENCofficial The norse gods are old, strong, and wise, im sure they are glad you can defend yourself and them against Christians. To be honest i wasnt looking for an argument, i was just curious how well you could keep up the argument if challenged.
@ENCofficial And why do you hate catholics? Hate is like picking up a hot coal with the intention of throwing it, your the only one burned. (Siddartha)
@ENCofficial I dont need your description on the Norse religion, i know about the gods and goddesses, but even from what you said you comparison of Jesus and thor grows further apart. Ragnarok is saying what will happen, when surt, his demons, and the giants wage war on the gods, it hasent happened yet, and in the myth the sons of Odin and the sons of Thor survive. Meaning if it did happen the norse pagan gods would still be around, even if it was invented by christians its purpose has reveresd
@ENCofficial But Odin and Zeus are even more similar due to their relation with giants
Traditional doesn’t mean factual, and taking knowledge from only one source leads to a narrowed mind of everything else. Christians created Ragnarok? Explain.
@Shadowsilas Personally I want to know why there has to just be one truth. Who is to say that all religions/faiths are not true? On the same note none of them could be right, and we could end up just rotting in the ground. I am a druid, and in my experiences with all the arguments this is the one question no one can answer, or has had a witty retort. Why can't they all be right? Though you might not be able to answer I still would enjoy your feedback as you seem a logical and reasonable sort.
@Shadowcast577 In honesty i cant answer your question very well, i dont know. One could say that if two religions contradict then one must be wrong because truth cant contradict itself, for somthing to be true it must be right in all situations. I myself beleive religion is based upon the enviorment raised, rules of society and veiws on the world. Therefor its a matter of perception. But these are just thoughts and sadly not really an answer, i dont think i can answer 100%
@ENCofficial Thor was before Jesus yes, but what if one pointed out that age has nothing to do with truth, that in fact as time progresses truth becomes more known. An example of this is people thinking the world was flat before it was round. To claim one based off another because of a link that general doesn’t show anything, that’s like claiming Odin and Zeus are based off each other because they are both leaders of their pantheon.
@ENCofficial And explain to me something, if Jesus is a glorified Ra/Horus, (I don’t not see any link between the god of thunder and Jesus) Then how do you know Ra inst a version of Jesus or Horus, or Horus is a version of Jesus or Ra?
I’m not a Christian but if you are going to attack a religion, just like Christians attack paganism, then you will be expected to defend your argument.
@ENCofficial God would drown in his own wisdom? Are you claiming you know the logic and reality of deities, well please share because humans have been searching for that for hundreds of thousands of years.
Similarities in religious mythos do not disprove either mythos, instead it just increases the idea that all religion is connected.
@ENCofficial “God works in mysterious ways” to claim this is stupid is to be taking an atheistic position, unless you are claiming your deities are tell you plain and simple what is going on. Christians claiming god works in mysterious ways is using a red herring, but one can also not prove or disprove said red herring claim therefore one can not say true or false
@ENCofficial Do you know for sure that the bible is stolen documents from pagan religions or are you jumping on the bandwagon which a lot of people do, one person said it therefore another uses it in their argument, provide proof or resources on this claim.
@ENCofficial “Heathen” means one who has not converted to Christianity, or is a uncivilized savage, it is “Pagan” that means country dweller. And I haven’t ever heard a Christian yell “Fuck you Jesus” if you have then by all means share.
You claim all Christians change there story, those this may be proven true in your experience, it doesn’t mean it is fact.
@ENCofficial The claim all Christians believe the world is 6000 years old is another Fallacy “The argument of omniscience” meaning you would have to know knowledge of every person who believes in Christianity for that statement to be valid. In fact such a statement is rendered false because there are Christians who believe in evolution and the big bang. It would have been much more beneficial you your argument to state that “Many Christians believe the world is 6000 years old)
@ENCofficial No Christianity was not written by gods its a religion now if you mean the bible then this was not written by the Christian god either. But if the bible was written by prophets who had visions from God, then it’s another story, and there is no way to prove or disprove therefore you can not say truth or false. Also there are many pagan religious books, the poetic edda, and the wiccan reed that are used as guide lines for pagan religions but are not written by a deity
Every time I listen and sing along to this song now I think of the fim 'Season Of The Witch'. When I first watched the film I kept singing 'Church Of Madness'. all that day I couldnt stop singing it.
I'm very fond of people who are quoting ancient texts. This clearly shows that they are unable to think for themselves - and unable to describe their beliefs in their own words.
The Dark Age of Copy & Paste instead of reason and rational thought...
Please lets stop the hate and arguing! May Ma'at bring wisdom to those who do not understand, May Isis bring love to those who do not know the truth of real love, may Osiris bring insight for understanding. As a student of Goddess Isis I love all, respect all, and please If you felt the pain of burning alive ( two past lives) you would wish it on no one, and I do not hold ill will on the Christians for it. If we spent more time in peace there would be less war blessed be
If you're anti-Christian learn about it first. Otherwise your argument will be shot down at every turn. If so-called Christians bothered to read the Bible instead of listening to their similarly misinformed preachers, they would know that since Adam and Eve were kicked out of the Garden Of Eden Earth has been ruled by Satan. God gave mankind the power of choice they wanted and this culminates in the great battle documented in the book of revelation. Yes, I'm Pagan but an informed Pagan :D
Yes, what Christians did to our pagan ancestors was horrible, but christians themselves where persecuted by muslims when they came to western europe, muslims today are constantly persecuted by hate and ignorance.
I read alot of these comments and see so much hate, even from pagans. One thing ive learned as a pagan is to not hold anger, its better to simply forgive, ALL religions and ALL races have points in their existence that are not very highly looked upon. White men murdered and stole land from the Indeans, the norse savagely took over Celtic Britain and Scotland, the celts used to hold burning man sacrifices, no religion or culture is 100% clean, we all have blood on our hands in some way
@Shadowsilas Agreed, except for "We all have blood on our hands in some way".
We are not those in the past. We should not carry the sins of our fathers and mothers. Christians now shouldn't be hated for past crimes in the name of their faith, nor for the nonsense in the Old Testament. Besides, most of what Jesus taught is Pagan values: Don't lie, don't judge, show forgiveness, show mercy.
Paganism is accepting and loving, I really wish our brothers and sisters would stop creating more hatred.
@FFQueen92 "We all have blood on our hands" means all races and religions have committed some crime, i dont mean that we should carry the consequences of the mistakes of our forefathers, but that we should realize all forefathers did commit mistakes.
The old testimate wasnt nonesense when it was first written, but as time progressed it was uncapable of change and fell useless to our modern society and ergo failed it its meaning.
All religions teach the same basic principals i agree,
@FFQueen92 that's pretty much bullshit, jesus was a cunt. hell he even remarked that there was a town that would wish to be sodom or gomorrah, never mind the fact that he was not a man of peace, for he came bearing a sword.
@bokprop420 I try to keep up on various religions, but I must have missed a few passages could you site what religious book and passage had Jesus come bearing a sword? Or is your statement just a condenamation of Christianity's followers not following their messiah's actions?
@theyaden Matthew chapter 10 verse 34. full reading is this "Do not think that I came to bring peace on the earth; I did not come to bring peace, but a sword. For I came to set a man against his father, and a daughter against her mother, and a daughter-in-law against her mother-in-law; and a man’s enemies will be the members of his household. He who loves father or mother more than Me is not worthy of Me; and he who loves son or daughter more than Me is not worthy of Me." this will be continued
@theyaden And he who does not take his cross and follow after Me is not worthy of Me. He who has found his life will lose it, and he who has lost his life for My sake will find it." (this is Matthew 10:34-39)
Then there is Luke 12:49-53 " 49 I have come to cast fire upon the earth; and how I wish it were already kindled! 50 But I have a baptism* to undergo, and how distressed I am until it is accomplished!" this will be continued
@theyaden "" 49 I have come to cast fire upon the earth; and how I wish it were already kindled! 50 But I have a baptism* to undergo, and how distressed I am until it is accomplished! 51 Do you suppose that I came to grant peace on earth? I tell you, no, but rather division; 52 for from now on five members in one household will be divided, three against two and two against three."
then there is Luke 14:26 "If anyone comes to Me, and does not hate his own father and mother and wife and children and brothers and sisters, yes, and even his own life, he cannot be My disciple."
oh and Luke 22:36 "But now, whoever has a money belt is to take it along, likewise also a bag, and whoever has no sword is to sell his coat and buy one."
But yes, would those be sufficient? jesus was kind of a twat.
@bokprop420 A lot of his teachings WERE about peace, eg the tale of the Good Samaritan.
Bear in mind that the Bible has been revised over the last two millenia AND was written by regular people not Jesus himself. Also, if he "came bearing a sword" then maybe, just maybe, that's a metaphor? Not everything is to be taken literally.
@ENCofficial My god really?cograts you gave me the names of two college books and yet you STILL DIDN'T GIVE ME DIRECT FACTS.So lets us review you didn't give me the name of this old brotherhood nor any evidence that it is real, Fatherly war my ass you just proved that you know nothing about combat because if you were in a real firefight there is nothing "fatherly" about it,also you two gf are your left and right hand now go and wank off to Thor you fucking shit pump
To the other wiccians, pagans, ect let me apologize for any part that my ancestors had in the burning times. But lets us look past the sins of the past and instead build a better furture for everyone.
No one can change what has been done all them years ago! I hope they burned in the flames of Hell and still do! The 'people' that they 'murdered' were still 'Human' and 'good'!
I dont know, fear just came ahold over them and they done something about it but never got rid of there fear >:(
Sorry if im being mean but its not fair on there family, friends and to everyone in the Pagan Community.
@ENCofficial Now I am going to end the sad debate by saying that you didn't provide any facts to back up your claims other then LOL THE VIKINGS ARE SO GREAT.I believe that you are in fact a 14 year old that has never been in a war nor even seen a dead body other then on the t.v.
@ENCofficial Now what empire did we trick?Because the burning times as you called them were caused by countries that were firmly christian for hundreds of years. And no I never claimed the the church "slaughtered many empires" now you are just putting words in my mouth.
I'm sorry; I reiterate - At the time of the crusades people were quite merry living together. But still it was a land grab, like we have oil grabs. Fuck all to do with religion itself, religion is an excuse, and a shoddy one at that- don't ever lower yourself to that level ....

GamerzHideaway 3 months ago
@GamerzHideaway Wicca (which is a Neo-Pagan religion) was started in the 1930's. Traditional Paganism, which Wicca tends to borrow a lot of it's rituals and beliefs from, has been around much much longer, than Wicca, or Christianity, Islam, Judaism, etc. Wiccans were not burned in the Inquisitions, Pagans, and everyone outside of the Church was. I am not an atheist, I may add. I just wanted to set some things straight. I am an Eclectic Pagan. Peace to you all, Namaste. <3
philosophygoth91 3 months ago
@philosophygoth91 Namaste, And thanks for clearing up the confusion. Though I do have roots in Traditional Paganism through past lives, which is where most of my loathing of Christians comes from. I do try to forgive them their misdoings, but it gets REALLY hard when they pull the shit that a group of Dominionists are doing now. Look up DC40 on google and you'll see what I mean.
GamerzHideaway 3 months ago
@GamerzHideaway I feel that the Dominionists/Theocrats are extremely dangerous to our personal, and spiritual freedoms. Theocratic nonsense. I truly believe in freedom and equality for all. I am pro-choice, for gay marriage, and want the best for humanity, and believe in religious tolerance, and coexistence. Yes, debate is inevitable, but religious violence and oppression gets us nowhere. Peace, Namaste.
philosophygoth91 3 months ago
@philosophygoth91 I agree. In fact, I'm bi, have a girlfriend who's bi (and pagan), a teacher who's gay, a best friend/little sister who's bi, and I abhor what the Dominionists are trying to do with a great passion. We should fight back. Or pray to Columbia that the Dominionists burn themselves with the fire they're playing with.
GamerzHideaway 3 months ago 2
@GamerzHideaway If we do not reach them through peace and tolerance, or attempt to gain their trust though love and acceptance, war is inevitable. I pray that it doesn't get to that point, but if it does, I will fight to my death for the equality of all living on the earth and those to live after us. The fire the dominionists are toying with, it will burn them eventually. With time all comes full circle. Whether it be by their own hand, by war or Nature's doing, they will get their due justice.
philosophygoth91 3 months ago
@philosophygoth91 I agree completely, brother/sister. I may be vengeful at times, but I would never wish harm upon others unless it's inevitable. And even them, I'd give them a chance to stop peacefully. I am a wolf. I strike hard and fast, but I do have my honor and pride.

@krissyXlol Which gospel? They are all different, and all written WELL after Jesus death. You know what cracks me up, is those that say the old testement is null and void, yet CONTINUE to preah the hate of Leviticus. Do you know any Christians with tattoos? Lev 19:28
sheavepin 4 months ago
@krissyXlol krissyXlol Rubbish. Jesus does not fullfill the Jews prophesy of a messaiah. Jesus, asuming he lived at all, was murdered because he was a threat to the stability of a Roman province. Just like shooting your mouth off in China today will get you a none too nice time in a gulag. The bible is hardly scientifically accurate, and considering you're probably reading the KJV, even less so. I wish you well with your faith, just don't let yourself get sucked in by the many charlatans.
sheavepin 5 months ago
thank you for uploading a great video by a great band
IronHawke73 5 months ago
@krissyXlol The Romans invented Christianity/Catholicism in order to help tie the empire together. Read about Apollonius of Tyana. The KJV is just as much rubbish as the NIV. Protestantism started in the 1500s. They were just as nasty to people as the inquisition was. They brought that garbage to this country. Read what happened to people if you didn't go to church in Plymouth or Jamestown etc. Did you know England didn't dispense with the religious police until AFTER WWII?
sheavepin 5 months ago
@sheavepin it was also to insure the survival of the Empire, it knew it was dying ... oh and they were successful....
kahetel13 5 months ago
@sheavepin that's odd, because the Romans didn't like Jews or Christians either. They were thrown in the arena and made to fight with lions and bears etc.
And yeah, they didn't take Christian prayer etc out of the public schools for quite some time after that. I mean, if you want to have to pray to a God of a certain religion, go to a school especially for that religion. Or be home-schooled.
missrowanb2009 5 months ago in playlist Inkubus Sukkubus all
@krissyXlol You do know they were not written until well after Jesus was killed. "I'M FILLED WITH DA HOLY SPIRIT!" (shakes body like a lunatic) Yeah,ok. . . . nah.
sheavepin 5 months ago
@krissyXlol I have read it. Facts? Where. Point the facts out. There's plenty of astrological reference there, that is pretty factual. There's more hatred and violence in that book than anything else. The filth Martin Luther spilled regarding Jews and women alone should make you reel. And which of the 20 different flavors of bible did you read? I am a Wiccan, and yet I can tell you no religion can be considered scientifically factual. Therefore, NONE is "the truth".
sheavepin 5 months ago
@krissyXlol I can tell you the same story regarding my Lord and Lady. We believe what experience teaches. Witchcraft works beautifully for me. I will tell you that the Xtian bible is not "the truth". No religion is. Much of the power to control your life lies within you. Choose a path, be thoughtful to others, and work at things. Don't put too much stock in the "writings" of illiterate goat herders from 2000 years ago. Put yourself in tune with Spirit.
sheavepin 5 months ago
@krissyXlol Well, I can't because you have "friend block" enabled, and I don't want a long message detailing your testimony; it wouldn't do anything for me.
ILikeToDissectGirls 5 months ago
@krissyXlol Well, that depends on the prayer, now doesn't it? Give me the best example of God answering your prayers.
ILikeToDissectGirls 5 months ago
@krissyXlol I don't think your logic is sound. It seems like every time someone states that something miraculous or supernatural has happened, you just take their word for it. It seems like you don't question the validity of these "testimonies."
Why are you so confident that your religion is correct? And if God has proven himself to you, how has he done so?
ILikeToDissectGirls 5 months ago
@krissyXlol And Matthew 5:22 says, "But whosoever shall say 'Thou fool' shall be in danger of hell fire."
I don't believe in God because I have not seen sufficient evidence for His existence. I never said, "There is no God," because such an affirmative position requires a colossal amount of proof to substantiate it, that which is also required for the opposite affirmative position that states, "There is a God," and neither side has ever provided proof that supports their position.
ILikeToDissectGirls 5 months ago
@krissyXlol I don't fear the Lord because I don't believe in Him. I don't fear the god of any religion because none of them have been shown existent. I don't go by faith. I never have, and I never will.
ILikeToDissectGirls 5 months ago
@krissyXlol Well, I listened to some of it, and his word is not enough for me. Just because he said it happened doesn't mean it happened. Now, if someone were to die and come back to life, be examined by scientists, and then confirmed to have died and come back to life, THEN you'd have something, but some former monk saying he died and came back to life without any evidence and only his word. . . that doesn't prove anything, and thus, doesn't convince me in the least bit.
ILikeToDissectGirls 5 months ago
@krissyXlol What is his name?
ILikeToDissectGirls 5 months ago
@krissyXlol I will not ask for help from an entity that I don't believe exists. I've never heard of any evidence that proves the existence of Heaven, Hell, God, the Devil, or any other supernatural things that Christianity, and other religions, assert as true.
And I've most definitely never heard of any evidence that re-animation is possible or that it has been observed. If someone states that they have died, gone to Hell, and come back to life, I see them as nothing more than mentally ill.
ILikeToDissectGirls 5 months ago
@krissyXlol How do you "know you're saved?"
And of course I wouldn't ask God to direct me and help me read; I'm well-aware of how to read, and I've examined many of the different interpretations of The Bible; I'm pretty confident in my knowledge of The Bible.
ILikeToDissectGirls 5 months ago
@krissyXlol Well, I've found a lot wrong with The Bible. . . A LOT wrong, morally and scientifically.
I'm glad that you've found a way of life that suits you best, but forcing it on others and claiming that is the only "truth" based on a personal experience that you had is just plain rude.
ILikeToDissectGirls 5 months ago
@krissyXlol I've read The Bible from beginning to end twice, and I can tell you three things; one: it's filled with morally repulsive things, two: it's not scientifically accurate in the least bit, and three: the "prophecies" are so vague as to mean anything that the reader wants them to.
ILikeToDissectGirls 5 months ago
a filthy christian would allow every jew and moslem to ravish their woman if it guaranteed a touchdown from their idol football team!

Jakegothicsnake 4 months ago
@Jakegothicsnake Pagan isn't a good term to use here. "Pagan" simply means any religion that isn't the majority. Technically, the Roman religion wasn't pagan, the Christian one was. The reason why early Christians were persecuted was not because of differing religious beliefs; it was because the Romans were a very traditional society that valued traditional rituals. The Christians, however, started causing civil unrest by refusing to participate in the society's rituals.
Ceenymeeny 3 months ago
@Ceenymeeny My bad. "Polytheistic" then.
Jakegothicsnake 3 months ago
@Jakegothicsnake Well Romans though they were of a "polytheistic" belief they were a completely individual of other "polytheistic societies" The beliefs of the Romans and for example say those of the Celtic people are while in some ways similar are still very very different. That statement just makes it sound like you've lumped us all in the same boat. Romans and Christians along with many others peoples alike are responsible for these tragedies no ones hands are truly free of bloodstains.
Shadowcast577 3 months ago
@Shadowcast577 Wasn't my intention to lump up you guys up all together in the same boat. It's just that there's so many terms out there, and it's hard to keep track. Some call themselves "Pagan", some go by "Neo-Pagan", or "Wiccan", and it's just confusing.....:(
Jakegothicsnake 3 months ago
@Jakegothicsnake It really does sadden me to see that we all can't just get over these petty arguments. These petty ones turn into bigger ones and wars yet again are fought over ridiculous reasons. I think that most people regardless of what they may be would like to see some sort of end to the stupid arguments. I often sit and wonder if a day of peace can come between the people. To be honest I think we've enough problems now instead of worrying about what happens in the grand scheme of things.
Shadowcast577 3 months ago
@Shadowcast577 You're right.
Jakegothicsnake 3 months ago
@Jakegothicsnake I'm not saying that it was right of them to persecute Christians, but I'm just pointing out that they weren't persecuted for being Christian, they were persecuted because in the eyes of a majority of the Romans, they weren't fulfilling their duties as citizens. Other religions were accepted in the Roman empire so long as the adherents still participated in the Roman rituals. Just a tidbit of history and the culture of the Romans.
Ceenymeeny 3 months ago
every religion is just a system of control, for a few to lord over others from the pope letting priests rape little boys to the pagan high priest who uses quasi religion to get laid on a regular basis. Be true to yourself and allow others to do the same, quit bitching.

@Shadowsilas i love reading about Amaterasu!
SparrowHawk541 8 months ago
@SparrowHawk541 =) Amaterasu is amaizing
Shadowsilas 8 months ago 4
@Shadowsilas its sad though about what happened with Susanoo and Amaterasu disappeared and hid in the cave. but it all worked out in the end :)
SparrowHawk541 8 months ago 2
@Shadowsilas Eh that was my old account um for when I played in another band. We don't use the term gothi to limit ourselves lone wolf gothi means a warrior soul on midgard who sends message of Norse by word not text. Norse has not actual text as the Eddas are far more Christian as the Crusaders were dumb enough to think we had a holy book like them. Basically all a lone wolf gothi is in short is a modern Norsmen in the path of Odinism.
garmrofficial 5 months ago
@Shadowsilas So its not really limiting as we educate ourselves on all religions, we respect all deities but we honor and stay true to the Norse gods and goddesses. But our title doesn't limit us to anything if we were ceremonial gothis or Gyðja then we would be limited we broke the limit with Odinism which is the path I follow. I use the new band I front garmr to educate people on Norse and my ancestors both Norse and Anglo Saxon. I do honor my other ancestors like Spaniards and Vlad III.
garmrofficial 5 months ago
@ENCofficial The norse gods are old, strong, and wise, im sure they are glad you can defend yourself and them against Christians. To be honest i wasnt looking for an argument, i was just curious how well you could keep up the argument if challenged.
Shadowsilas 9 months ago
@ENCofficial And why do you hate catholics? Hate is like picking up a hot coal with the intention of throwing it, your the only one burned. (Siddartha)
Shadowsilas 9 months ago
@ENCofficial I dont need your description on the Norse religion, i know about the gods and goddesses, but even from what you said you comparison of Jesus and thor grows further apart. Ragnarok is saying what will happen, when surt, his demons, and the giants wage war on the gods, it hasent happened yet, and in the myth the sons of Odin and the sons of Thor survive. Meaning if it did happen the norse pagan gods would still be around, even if it was invented by christians its purpose has reveresd
Shadowsilas 9 months ago
@ENCofficial But Odin and Zeus are even more similar due to their relation with giants
Traditional doesn’t mean factual, and taking knowledge from only one source leads to a narrowed mind of everything else. Christians created Ragnarok? Explain.
I guess you also hate eclectic pagans?
Shadowsilas 9 months ago
@Shadowsilas Personally I want to know why there has to just be one truth. Who is to say that all religions/faiths are not true? On the same note none of them could be right, and we could end up just rotting in the ground. I am a druid, and in my experiences with all the arguments this is the one question no one can answer, or has had a witty retort. Why can't they all be right? Though you might not be able to answer I still would enjoy your feedback as you seem a logical and reasonable sort.
Shadowcast577 9 months ago
@Shadowcast577 In honesty i cant answer your question very well, i dont know. One could say that if two religions contradict then one must be wrong because truth cant contradict itself, for somthing to be true it must be right in all situations. I myself beleive religion is based upon the enviorment raised, rules of society and veiws on the world. Therefor its a matter of perception. But these are just thoughts and sadly not really an answer, i dont think i can answer 100%
Shadowsilas 9 months ago
@Shadowcast577 Thank you for the compliment btw =)
Shadowsilas 9 months ago
@ENCofficial Thor was before Jesus yes, but what if one pointed out that age has nothing to do with truth, that in fact as time progresses truth becomes more known. An example of this is people thinking the world was flat before it was round. To claim one based off another because of a link that general doesn’t show anything, that’s like claiming Odin and Zeus are based off each other because they are both leaders of their pantheon.
Shadowsilas 9 months ago
@ENCofficial And explain to me something, if Jesus is a glorified Ra/Horus, (I don’t not see any link between the god of thunder and Jesus) Then how do you know Ra inst a version of Jesus or Horus, or Horus is a version of Jesus or Ra?
I’m not a Christian but if you are going to attack a religion, just like Christians attack paganism, then you will be expected to defend your argument.
Shadowsilas 9 months ago
@ENCofficial God would drown in his own wisdom? Are you claiming you know the logic and reality of deities, well please share because humans have been searching for that for hundreds of thousands of years.
Similarities in religious mythos do not disprove either mythos, instead it just increases the idea that all religion is connected.
Shadowsilas 9 months ago
@ENCofficial “God works in mysterious ways” to claim this is stupid is to be taking an atheistic position, unless you are claiming your deities are tell you plain and simple what is going on. Christians claiming god works in mysterious ways is using a red herring, but one can also not prove or disprove said red herring claim therefore one can not say true or false
Shadowsilas 9 months ago
@ENCofficial Do you know for sure that the bible is stolen documents from pagan religions or are you jumping on the bandwagon which a lot of people do, one person said it therefore another uses it in their argument, provide proof or resources on this claim.
Shadowsilas 9 months ago
@ENCofficial “Heathen” means one who has not converted to Christianity, or is a uncivilized savage, it is “Pagan” that means country dweller. And I haven’t ever heard a Christian yell “Fuck you Jesus” if you have then by all means share.
You claim all Christians change there story, those this may be proven true in your experience, it doesn’t mean it is fact.
Shadowsilas 9 months ago
@ENCofficial The claim all Christians believe the world is 6000 years old is another Fallacy “The argument of omniscience” meaning you would have to know knowledge of every person who believes in Christianity for that statement to be valid. In fact such a statement is rendered false because there are Christians who believe in evolution and the big bang. It would have been much more beneficial you your argument to state that “Many Christians believe the world is 6000 years old)
Shadowsilas 9 months ago

If we spent more time in peace there would be less war blessed be
HeidiIsbell 10 months ago 32
If you're anti-Christian learn about it first. Otherwise your argument will be shot down at every turn. If so-called Christians bothered to read the Bible instead of listening to their similarly misinformed preachers, they would know that since Adam and Eve were kicked out of the Garden Of Eden Earth has been ruled by Satan. God gave mankind the power of choice they wanted and this culminates in the great battle documented in the book of revelation. Yes, I'm Pagan but an informed Pagan :D
MrAnthorn 10 months ago 2
Yes, what Christians did to our pagan ancestors was horrible, but christians themselves where persecuted by muslims when they came to western europe, muslims today are constantly persecuted by hate and ignorance.
Shadowsilas 10 months ago
I read alot of these comments and see so much hate, even from pagans. One thing ive learned as a pagan is to not hold anger, its better to simply forgive, ALL religions and ALL races have points in their existence that are not very highly looked upon. White men murdered and stole land from the Indeans, the norse savagely took over Celtic Britain and Scotland, the celts used to hold burning man sacrifices, no religion or culture is 100% clean, we all have blood on our hands in some way
Shadowsilas 10 months ago
@Shadowsilas Agreed, except for "We all have blood on our hands in some way".
We are not those in the past. We should not carry the sins of our fathers and mothers. Christians now shouldn't be hated for past crimes in the name of their faith, nor for the nonsense in the Old Testament. Besides, most of what Jesus taught is Pagan values: Don't lie, don't judge, show forgiveness, show mercy.
Paganism is accepting and loving, I really wish our brothers and sisters would stop creating more hatred.
FFQueen92 10 months ago
@FFQueen92 "We all have blood on our hands" means all races and religions have committed some crime, i dont mean that we should carry the consequences of the mistakes of our forefathers, but that we should realize all forefathers did commit mistakes.
The old testimate wasnt nonesense when it was first written, but as time progressed it was uncapable of change and fell useless to our modern society and ergo failed it its meaning.
All religions teach the same basic principals i agree,
Shadowsilas 10 months ago
@FFQueen92 i wish more could see that =)
Shadowsilas 10 months ago
@FFQueen92 that's pretty much bullshit, jesus was a cunt. hell he even remarked that there was a town that would wish to be sodom or gomorrah, never mind the fact that he was not a man of peace, for he came bearing a sword.
bokprop420 10 months ago
@bokprop420 I try to keep up on various religions, but I must have missed a few passages could you site what religious book and passage had Jesus come bearing a sword? Or is your statement just a condenamation of Christianity's followers not following their messiah's actions?
theyaden 10 months ago

50 But I have a baptism* to undergo, and how distressed I am until it is accomplished!" this will be continued
bokprop420 10 months ago
@theyaden "" 49 I have come to cast fire upon the earth; and how I wish it were already kindled! 50 But I have a baptism* to undergo, and how distressed I am until it is accomplished! 51 Do you suppose that I came to grant peace on earth? I tell you, no, but rather division; 52 for from now on five members in one household will be divided, three against two and two against three."

@theyaden
then there is Luke 14:26 "If anyone comes to Me, and does not hate his own father and mother and wife and children and brothers and sisters, yes, and even his own life, he cannot be My disciple."
oh and Luke 22:36 "But now, whoever has a money belt is to take it along, likewise also a bag, and whoever has no sword is to sell his coat and buy one."
But yes, would those be sufficient? jesus was kind of a twat.
bokprop420 10 months ago

But lets us look past the sins of the past and instead build a better furture for everyone.
windhvit 10 months ago
@windhvit
GothicPaganGirl 10 months ago
@ENCofficial Now I am going to end the sad debate by saying that you didn't provide any facts to back up your claims other then LOL THE VIKINGS ARE SO GREAT.I believe that you are in fact a 14 year old that has never been in a war nor even seen a dead body other then on the t.v.
windhvit 10 months ago
@ENCofficial Now what empire did we trick?Because the burning times as you called them were caused by countries that were firmly christian for hundreds of years. And no I never claimed the the church "slaughtered many empires" now you are just putting words in my mouth.
