Ahhh. This is an outdated concept. Glenn Beck has been on the record for YEARS saying that his original statements about the Patriot Act were WRONG. He believed the govt would let it sunset. He admits being duped, being wrong and has apologized to his listeners for being so gullible.
How about a hand for the ONLY guy putting stuff like this on Television for the American People. My friends in the Ron Paul movement have to remember TWO things:
1. Beck has recently named Ron Paul as one of the ONLY people in the Congress who is trustworthy.
2. Beck has apologized on air for his support of the neo cons. He has identified himself as a Liberterian.
Give the man some credit. He's doing a service for many Americans that is BADLY needed.

I was a Ron Paul delegate, sir, and can assure you that Beck caused/contributed irreparable harm to the campaign, to delegates and the entire process. And pulled the same stunts against other independents races ex: Debra Medina on behalf of Rick 'neo-con' Perry.
I understand the hurt that Ron Paul supporters feel about the 2008 elections.
However, people make mistakes. I wouldn't tell you that Beck said these things if I hadn't heard them first hand. I don't think the time is warranted to post such statements.
My channel has the highest level of ethics, accuracy and truth. Please accept my word for it. In some ways, Beck has done more to advance the cause of liberty than Dr. Paul. Let's give credit where credit is due.
Let me say, please, that I harbor no ill will toward you nor your channel. I asked for the video clips of those statements in order to HELP you in whatever small way possible to restore relations. Perhaps, if Beck has done more than Ron Paul, you may see no need for mending bridges? My contention is-- they need mending. Also that Ron Paul made the way obvious and Beck is now following. The beauty part of it is, the 'way' is not 'Ron Paul' it's the constitution! :-) Peace.
You and I agree on 99%. Beck isn't a child that needs to stand in the corner for his mistakes. He has mentioned them numerous times. It is TIME TO MOVE FORWARD with the PEOPLE ON OUR SIDE. BECK IS ON OUR SIDE and he is doing one hell of a job. We need him, we need his support and we can fairly criticize him for CURRENT actions and not dwell on past mistakes. IMO...
Glenn Beck shouldn't be talking about Big Brother. He's the one who supported the Patriot Act, and actually criticized Ron Paul for being anti-war.

If so, he kinda fails libertarianism forever, seeing as the war was a direct violation of the NAP.

NO. Beck has stated over and over again that we were DUPED into the war in Iraq.
He, as were many, DID favor the 2001 invasion of Afghanistan. Like many of us, he is no longer in favor of the occupation.

Beck has inspired MILLIONS of Americans to get off their Couch, READ BOOKS and to stand up for the principles in the Constitution.
I have to give him credit. He's the ONLY one on Television doing it.
